Sims keep freezing

Hello,
My game has been having this issue for a while. Generally it's fixable, and I can typically solve it by clearing cache, or resetting whichever sim was having the glitch. But since the most recent series of updates, this glitch has increased in frequency, to the point where the game almost feels unplayable. My sim will either get stuck on a task, or will get stuck staring at the sim or object that they are meant to interact with. When I reload the lot or restart my game, it will work briefly, but then the same glitch keeps happening. I have done the same things as before, repaired the game, even uninstalled and reinstalled it, cleared cache for the game as well as the EA app. The game worked normally after the patch update for about an hour of regular game play (not in build/buy mode, manage worlds, or CAS mode), however I can't quite remember what I did when the glitch started again. I have not been able to get any of my sims to do more then accouple things in the past week after that hour. I do use mods and CC. I have tested my game without it before the patch update. It worked as I started adding my mods back in, and when I started playing it normally. I know a lot of people are having trouble with their game. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this or whether this glitch just needs to be added to the list. If anyone has any advice or ideas. I'm all ears. I don't want to remove my cc, but if I have to for now I will.

OMG i'm having the same problem! I can even give more details on what's going on. The consequence is the same but i noticed several additionnal things. It's like they become lobotomized or can't process 2 actions at once AND the game cannot establish priority. Especially when it involves two sims or more.
I'll try to list a few of the weirdest things i found got my sims to freeze or gets my interactions cancelled :
- My sim is sitting, i ask them to interact with an object. No other action in queue. The sim doesn't move the action doesn't get launched. I have to cancel the sitting for the action to trigger (doesn't process getting up, walking and the action at the same time)
- My sim goes for their baby, and suddenly freeze in front of it. They don't move don't do anything anymore. I see the "check if baby ok" in queue, but nothing happens. Turns out my other sim was also going for the baby. If i cancel one of the two sims action then the other one is able to continue with their action again. Happens with objects too, like toilets or fridges (so, two sims cannot interact/queue with the same person/object at the same time and action doesn't cancel so they just freeze)
- It gets super bad when multiple sims are having a conversation and they're not all in my household, so i cannot cancel what's queued.
- My sim "randomly" cannot access objects. They manifest the object is inaccessible and cancel the action. 5 minutes later it's fine so it's not a placement issue. With this one i noticed a few things. 1) It's either when an other sim is about to pass by the given object and it's like the game considers the object blocked just because an other sim is passing by. 2) An other sim is also interacting with the object and the actions don't automatically cancel for the other sim 3) The sim 2 doesn't do anything with the object but it's just standing in front of it and doesn't move at all when sim 1 gets the action, like again an automation / priority of interaction problem
- My sim "randomly" considers rooms inaccessible. That one is very confusing. Same as with objects. I found this one trying to figure out which object or door or stair was the problem, and turned out none was the problem. I explain:To unblock the access it seems like i have to ask my sim to walk a bit further, then, when it has moved, go through the door, then through another room, then go up the stairs, then get into the room, then interact with the object. When i do this it works. So, i have to dissect the journey into parts so the sim gets how to get to destination. Once again, it's like it doesn't process several things or in which order they should do them.
- Edit : Re-reading the other comments, i too have issues with the starting action processes it takes them so much time. Given my report. I feel like it's the idle interaction that doesn't get cancelled. I can kind of confirm this is probably it because i cheated to remove interactions once or twice and removing the idle one seems to work (sometimes).
It's like this for absolutely everything. And yes, for me i think it started with feb3rd one
I have other problems too but i think that's it for this one. Sometimes it bugs even more and i cannot cancel interactions myself, the sim keeps doing the action or, if it's frozen, it just stays frozen and i cannot add anything to the queue. But that's kind of a given and obvious one. The whole behavior of the game is just super tiring, the fact it gets even more frustrating when it freezes is just the cherry on top.
