When sims are supposed to be nude or have more revealing clothing the salmon colored (hideous btw) underwear from CAS body edit mode is showing.

That mod works with the commands stated. You will have to use the commands multiple times as it is not a permanent fix.
It's not only a visual bug. It changes the behaviour of other sims because they count as dressed. Other sims don't react embarrassed anymore. It also affects tan after a sunbath.
Resetting the bathing outfit mod doesn't help console players and on PC it doesn't fix the issue for longer than the session. if you restart the game, the underwear returns.for anyone reading the thread, just tried this, seems to work for showering, but the default underwear still appears on tan lines.
How do I install this mod and use it? Do I just need to put the files in the mods folder?
Yes, but it won't fix the problem. I created a CC solution on Nexus Mods that does. It's called default underwear override. I just edited the default underwear and made them nude instead. It's the best fix I have been able to come up with. But be warned it does this in CAS as well where there is no pixelization to hide it. For that reason, you need to allow for adult content on Nexus to see my mod. It's not for kids. But, then again, neither is Sims 4.
