Stair Rails 'Popping' through Walls and Windows (Patch 1.73)

Adding the Eerie Elegance stair rail to the mix. [Note: It does appear that the issue is with wider stair rails, as noted above. I replaced with a narrower stair rail and there is no issue.]

It could be nice, to just allow railings on one side of the stairs.

I just updated my game so I could upload my build to the gallery, and suddenly these railings are clipping through the wall in a bad way, flickering as well. It's really annoying as I assumed they fixed the railings and it was safe to update. What even is this mess? 
The base of the stairs also clips through the wall btw. 
I've tried some other railings ( the New Royalty EP) and while the railings don't clip the base of the stairs also clips through the wall. 

No mods or CC in this save, basically all kits, all Eps, Stuff packs etc.

With update 1.121.342/2.28 we've added a new option to apply stair railings to only one side of staircases. You can use this toggle to turn off railings next to walls to prevent this clipping.
