I'm on PS5, and am having the same issue. It started after the life and death expansion pack or at least that's what it seemed like. I have multiple saves and it eventually starts to happen in each save, the only way my teens get a 3rd trait in adulthood is if I let them age up on their own without a cake when not playing as the household. If anyone finds a way to fix this without having to delete and start over that would be amazing!
