Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves

Ever since the recent update my game cannot go a few minutes without freezing. With and without mods. Time continues to move at normal sim time, but I cannot fast forward, select another sim. I am able to get through asking about the Capp Family in this week challenge and then the game does that. 

I keep hitting a bug where time will freeze but Sims and environment still move and I still have complete camera controls. I tried going to build mode in the meantime but then it deleted all windows and doors from the first level of the house. Sometimes I'll save it and it'll take about 2 minutes on average to save the game, but then it'll fix it once the save is complete. I had a Sim in labor when the bug hit which means I couldn't save it, couldn't enter build mode, or anything. So I had to force close and pray that I had remembered to save recently. I've already checked that it's not any of my mods or cc. It's making the game feel unplayable at this point until it's fixed.

UPDATE: It has been over two months i haven't been able to play this game. I officially removed all of my broken cc but now another problem appeared; my mods dont work anymore. The bug doesnt happen without the mods but now i cant get my mods back on at all everything i do, they just dont show in the startup thingy and yes i have them turned on, yes i repaired the game YES i did everything. The sims keeps having problems over and over it has been two months and i am sick of this

Sims keep freezing while moving

Apparently my solution still bugged after a long playthrough. But it was indeed MCCC thanks for the heads up ! 

I'm having a really annoying issue where my game "freezes" at 5:59am gametime when my sims are sleeping. I put freezing in quotes because the setting will still move as if everything is on 3x speed, but I can't interact with the sims, I can't click on much of anything, I can't pause, and I can't exit the game. I have to force quit with Task Manager. I tried repairing through the EA app and it's not working.

All my mods are removed, to make sure this wasn't a mod issue.

While in the game, every couple of minutes the game pauses not with the pause button but with the actual clock, the sims keep moving on the spot and they still talk but I can't click anything.  Usually when this used to happen occasionally I could fix it by saving the game.  However now the game won't save at all no matter what I try.  I even quit and restarted the game to see if the issue was lag from playing but even if I try and save as soon as the game has loaded it still won't save and I have let it try and save for hours with no success.

crinrict​ the second one is close to what is happening. Do you know of anything to fix it. I can’t play the game without it fixed cause I can’t save. 

It's usually something blocking the game for processing properly.

Can you try if it fixes itself if you play another household for a while.
