I have a townie I moved into a lot. What happens is she had a default outfit she came into the lot with. I have added other outfits but the default outfit will overlay her other outfits when she goes from world to world. This default outfit (first outfit on first tab in create-a-sim) will then overlay other outfits i change when I go from world to world. And when the sim returns to the home lot all her outfits are then overlaid to her default. But when I go into create-a-sim the outfits are back, the outfits I added are there and I just click to return to base game and they are fixed. The created sim does not have this problem only this townie i moved into the lot.
Now what is really weird is last night i had this sim change into an outfit that I had not chose and she melded with other features like a grey beard and a weird outfit I had no recollection to selecting it. She looked really weird. That change was only on the PJ area. I did not fix that problem yet. Not sure why. But the sim looked like something out of a horror movie. Like two different sims overlaying each other. I usually change my sims using the outfit change on the sims pie menu. I don't usually use an object to change the sim other than a mirror to going into CAS.
When i go to another world the other night I was able to change the sim (no recollection of what world or lot I was on). And her outfits straightened out. Hope this helps.
I know you have tons of bugs from last update and I was just waiting for new update for fixes. I have just been fixing it as I go along where I can. My other townie I had did not have any issues that I recall but I did not move him from lot to lot in gameplay and since moved him out.
