I just really, really wish we could altogether disable the generation of random townies. I have always hated them with a passion. With over 300 premade Sims, they are not even necessary. There are plenty of unemployed premade Sims the game can pick from for new roles. Most premades are never even encountered due to ugly randoms crowding the world with obscene intensity. It's upsetting and deters me from playing at all sometimes. It's a feature out of control.
