Ideas
- My sim has upgrade parts in their inventory, yet, the sim cannot upgrade items due to them not being recognised by the game, unless these upgrade parts were gotten through the 'scavenge for parts' interaction.
- I believe ordering online has to do with this bug as well as when I purchase upgrading parts, these are not recognised.
- I later found that having the bee box and collecting honey, the honey was not recognised by the game. Therefore, I was unable to use the honey for recipes. (items are not recognised in the sims inventory nor if I add them to the fridge inventory).
- When purchasing books, I can only buy books that are already part of the household. No other books are shown as an option to be purchased, including when pressing the option to view by category when doing the order.
- I tried to fix the bug by eliminating the cache from the game, but the issue continued after relaunching the game.
Summary:
1. items appearing in the sims/fridge inventory but not being recognised to enable actions like upgrading items and using items in recipes.
2. Items with pruchasing and order through computer/phone: upgrading parts can be purchased but cannot be used and ordering issues with books: only appear to be enabled to buy books already owned by the household.
3. Bug cannot be eliminated by deleting cache from game and relaunching game
Commenting so I can follow. I'm having the exact same issue(s), and even on upgrade parts scavenged.
