April 28th update promised a fix to the gallery freezing up issue. This has not been completely fixed. I clicked on 10 items in the gallery normally and then it froze up when I checked again and lost my progress. The curser also moves all over the place. This is unacceptable.
I’ve just had to reset the game and it appears to have completely wiped all my game data, every single save gone, pardon me?
I play on pc and I can't even count on two hands how many times I've had to restart my entire pc because I'm not able to exit the game from ANY in-game buttons, when I'm in the prosses of making a new household. Nothing shows up, no naming options, clothes, personality options, adding another person or dog, nothing, just a sims shadow and a group of shadows to the left from the ''main character''. Tried uninstalling the game (cuz I know my pc isn't the strongest for playing Sims and it was probably just messing with me) and that didn't help. Feel like it made all it worse somehow? The ''Electronic Arts'' file is just filled with bunch of numbers and no folder for anything I recognize.

I’m playing sims 4 on the ps5. I wanted to purchase my sim a restaurant but it doesn’t allow me to place the lot. It actually freeze and causes me to shut down or restart the ps5. I’m frustrated. Seems since they switched over to moolah it has been lagging. 👎
Since today's (April 28th) update and possibly as early as the update that added the marketplace, I can't add tattoos that I have already saved. When I try to add them the game locks and I can't exit the popup, so I have to restart the game. I can still move the cursor, but i can't bring up the options popup or exit. I tried multiple times just to be sure it wasn't a one-off glitch since the game hasn't worked the best on PS4 to begin with. My game and system are completely up-to-date

Im playing on a PS5 and I am still experiencing the gallery bug where it freezes what I'm doing and I have to exit out of the whole game. I find this happening when I try to download something from the gallery. For example I have the business and hobbies pack and I'm trying to download a tattoo onto my sim and it keeps freezing.
i cant even upload at all --- my game keeps telling me it has timed out and to check internet for connections.... which i did and I do as you can see have internet because i am on here!! 😠😡😠 said they fixed something Now they done broke it for every one!!!!!
Ps5 user here. I commented before the update as well that I was experiencing the same issues. I just checked after the update and am still experiencing the same issues, specifically with the custom tattoos.
Once I click a custom tattoo, the gallery won’t let me do anything - can’t apply tattoo, can’t exit back to library, can’t rename the tattoo- I just have to force close the whole game. Please fix soon, this is tiring.
Resetting the console brought the save files back but the issue with the gallery items persists, so I’m going to uninstall any items I’ve purchased via CDKeys, just in case they were the Xbox one version and the update with the marketplace doesn’t like them anymore and I’m going to try again…
Nope, this didn’t work either; just “USES ITEMS FROM THESE PACKS” is selected and just whirls around - I really don’t want to stop playing this game but between the buyout and the bugs lately, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to play.
So when I open the gallery it works normally until I select a lot to view then I can't do anything at all. Can't close out, view images, or basically interact with the page in any capacity. I've done everything I could think of and every recommended course of action to fix it, so now I'm just assuming it's a bug due to the new update for the gallery. The game isn't frozen, I can move the cursor around, still hear music, etc. I genuinely cannot play right now because of it and will not be able to until it's fixed.
