April 28th update promised a fix to the gallery freezing up issue. This has not been completely fixed. I clicked on 10 items in the gallery normally and then it froze up when I checked again and lost my progress. The curser also moves all over the place. This is unacceptable.
The latest update did not fix the issue. When using the Xbox controller, you still can’t save a household to your library or delete one with the “A” or “B” buttons on the controller. The other buttons work as far as trigger but not the letter buttons for some reason.
And it’s defaulting to Most popular instead of Newest!
The update still didn't fix this problem, I play on Xbox and you cannot use the letter buttons on the controller to do anything in gallery or build&buy!! This is so frustrating. The whole update was for console and it didn’t fix nothing.
When scrolling through gallery the cursor keeps randomly jumping to the side filter options. The game is unplayable for console!

When the gallery or library is opened and I try to place a family I have saved, my game locks. The only thing I can do is restart the game. The gallery opens just fine but if I click on a household or a lot I cannot do anything other than move the cursor. I’ve only had this start happening after installing the most recent update.
The game crashes constantly... It freezes on almost every screen... The graphics become opaque after 1 minute of gameplay and the objects are not defined... It is impossible to play it... Only now I had to restart it twice... Normally it takes forever to get it to start... when then the game starts it freezes and starts waiting again for the loading... if I hadn't spent all that money on packages and other things I would have already uninstalled it... currently it is unplayable
Im seeing everyone having basically the same issue as well but I cant even continue my game if so it take babystep before I get my game crash and restart everything either by just downloading or looking around gallery or even game plays during it and also on the cheats bar too everytime it freeze it almost take a hour for the game to freeze up and you have to basically restart the whole game so yeah the sims is just getting worst at this point
I’m also finding the library very buggy on XBox. It crashes, I can’t put families into lots from my library or the gallery. It’s not consistent, though, so I don’t know what’s triggering it.
This is absolutely ridiculous
Istg it's one issue after the next I just wanna play the game and I literally can't because now whenever i try to place a family I've made in my private gallery it freezes
FIX THE GAME ALREADY!!!!!
I'm having the same issues. Gallery freezes and giving me notifications i do not own certain items, but i do. Also when i want to upload a new lot to the gallery, nothing happens. Now i have tested this in online and offline mode. In my case it happens mostly when i am offline.
When opening the gallery it works normally but once I select a lot to view it I can't do anything at all. The cursor still moves and I can hear the backgroumd music, but its like my controller buttons are no longer responsive, with the exception of the home button. Upon exiting and closing/restarting the game everything once again works normally up until I try to view something in the gallery again. Literally nothing seems to fix the issue except closing and restarting the game, making the gallery effectively useless.
