While playing my game will freeze for about 10 seconds. I don’t know if it’s the game, my controller, or something else. I am playing on PS 4 & hit the O several times on the controller.
Any thoughts on what I should do?
Happens to me randomly on PS4 mainly when I'm panning the camera around alot, everything will just freeze up for a bit like it's crashed but just wait don't press anything and it sorts itself out. Also keep an eye on the analog stick icon up by build mode manage worlds etc, the one that if you press brings up the controls screen (R3 I think?) if it's animation around it is spinning fast just wait till it slows down and it'll be fine. I use that to keep track of how my game is running. If it's spinning fast I wait and don't do anything or press anything just put my controller down till it slows down 🙂 think it's cause the ps4 is an older console and it sometimes has a meltdown if you try to make the sims do too much at once.

Thank you for your input. It’s so frustrating when the controller can’t keep up with my thoughts.

Haha know what you mean. I found out the hard way that patience is key when it comes to playing sims on ps4 😀 nowadays I just load up my family and leave them to their own devices for a bit before playing, sims makes my console really loud when it all first loads in so letting it all catch up with itself helps reduce lag and freezing immensely. Makes for a smoother playing experience 👍
