[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13

I keep having this issue on ps5, the becomes unresponsive but is still running in the background. Like my Sims will be doing things but I can't save the game or even bring up the menu. In cas, there's a 50/50 chance of either the sensitivity going through the roof and is just bouncing everywhere or it just completely freezes and I end up loosing all of my progress. I thought by using PS5 the Sims would function better but it's made it worse the game is pretty much unplayable with it constantly crashing. I don't even use any mods so it can't be that either. I love this game to bits and would be sad to not play it, so does anyone have any tips to fix this? Thanks
