[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13

Last fall, I got the bug where I couldn't save my game or travel without crashing. There was no fix for months. No updates ever mentioned it. There were lots of people reporting the same thing, but nobody ever cared. After no resolution ever came, I gave up.

I FINALLY decided to come back and try again after the royalty pack came out. I was a huge Sims medieval fan, so this was a really exciting pack for me. I started a brand new save. At first, I was scared to get invested because I didn't want to get into it and then have the game break again, but after a few weeks of the game not crashing, I felt safe to actually play again.

I got super involved and made a big dynasty. my first heir grew up and had kids. Her son is about to become king. He is literally on his way to the throne to claim the promotion...

And then it happened.

My game had started lagging right before, so I thought maybe it was a fluke. I tried again. It crashed again. It has now crashed more than 5 times in the last 30 minutes while saving or traveling.

I am devastated.

I have over 10,000 hours in this game since I started playing (on PlayStation) in 2017. I don't know if I am willing to wait another six months to be able to play a game I have spent thousands of dollars on. This is unforgivable and needs to be fixed immediately.
