I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits...

Whenever will this issue be fixed there is legit no point in this game if you’re unable to save you’re progress people on console matter too… I do not have cc as well I’m on console so that isn’t a factor. Marketplace is a such a good thing for us console players but we can’t even play with our new stuff if the game doesn’t allow you to save.
I play everyday it’s my thing but atm it’s more of a stress than anything I love the sims but this ordeal isn’t on anymore.

I feel the same way, im trying to play with my legacy family at the moment and at this point ive lost count of how many times my game black screened and crashed from saving, its really frustrating and depressing when you cant even enjoy or play the game and keep losing progess because of all the bugs and issues, I really hope this gets fixed soon. Its like the update broke my game, idk if its worse for console players, from what im seeing though looks like people having issues all round, we just wanna sim!
Edit: its also crashing now without even saving so I get in the game for not even five minutes before I get a black screen and it crashes, ive hard reset my xbox but it didnt make a difference at all
