[XB/PS] Console crashing

The game will not load. It lets me get to the main menu screen but when I go to load my game save it gets so far and then just sits spinning with nothing happening. It started after the game kept crashing when traveling and now it will not load at all.

can you load a new save game ? Does that work ?

Can you load the save if you use load instead of resume ?

It won’t load from a save or from resume however it has allowed me to load a new save.

So you can't even get to the map by any means ?

No but the new save appears to be working fine

Hi I currently have version 2.12 still waiting on the consoles to get the newest update. Anyway every time i try to throw a social event my game crashes. my ps5 is new and I don't play with any mods, I have all the game packs, expansion packs ,stuff packs. This issue started with version 2.12 as far as I'm concerned. I'm able to throw a house party and ranch gathering, but every time I tried to throw a birthday party or keg party etc. it will crash the game. 

The new save has now also broken. I think it’s being caused by the Reaper Career as it started crashing after the automatic travel at the end of the work day and now won’t load the save once again.

I just recently moved my Sims into a new home and as I go to build mode to decorate, a few minutes into decorating, the game is crashing. It’s been happening so much and it makes me not want to play the game and it’s especially infuriating when this happens and I haven’t saved!!  This has sort of been an ongoing issue for some time, but it’s especially bad right now. I’m also currently compiling a list of bugs within gameplay on console and there’s so many that I may need to submit another request for other fixes that are required.  One new bug is when I go to the gallery most homes are not available, telling me I don’t have the latest downloaded game, when I do, and when I go to check if there’s any new content or updates available, the game tells me I am up-to-date?!
I’ve been reading chatter online that console players require a separate update? Why does it feel like console players aren’t considered and overlooked when playing and dealing with bugs?!
Super bummed there are so many bugs and issues during and especially not during gameplay.

I had to create a whole new save and re-add my family and lot. But I also create d backup file. The original file saves just fine but the backup file gives me that same CE error. This is a huge issue and needs to be fixed before rolling out another expansion pack that will add MORE bugs.

Please help! I play on a PS5 and for the last few weeks, game completely unplayable. Every time I save, it just crashes and closes the game. 
I was able to get around it by travelling to another lot for the autosave, but now it won’t autosave at all.

I’ve tried all the suggestions I can find online to fix (rebuild database, clear cache, clear household inventories, clean up households, new save file, cleared the PS5 hard drive of everything but sims to name a few) and still no improvements. I’ve moved to smaller lots, but nothing.

Any suggestions on how to fix please?
