[XB/PS] Endless Load Times

Since a few days ago (precisely 07/17) the game has taken a very, very long time to load. It starts when you open the game. Just to get to the screen where it asks you to press any button to start, it takes about 3-4 minutes. After that the game starts loading again, that simple bar with the green diamond filling it up little by little, but this "little" is taking another 3 minutes, sometimes even 5, something that is really discouraging me from playing one of the games I love the most, after all, no one wants to wait so long just to get into the game. 

THINGS I DID TO TRY TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM:

• I reinstalled the game. Since the first time this problem occurred it took so long that I thought I would never get past the The Sims 4 logo screen.
• I'm from console (Xbox) and I don't have any mods or anything like that installed.
• I also don't have the fairy pack either. I didn't buy it precisely because of the amount of bugs it comes with. 

Hi there, is it a save you have been playing a while?  It's just that I've been having this same problem when I've been on the same save for a while, I tried everything to make it run better through help online but eventually used chatgpt and worked through more solutions and it seems to me that one of the big problems is loads of homeless sims and also way too many ghosts.  Since I had a big clean up of them the game is running a LOT better and quicker loading.  I'm on pc so I can use a mod to keep the ghost population under control from now on but I'm not sure how you could do that on console easily sorry.  But you could try deleting a lot of the homeless sims through manage worlds too see if that helps somewhat? 

An update: 

When I went from the save menu instead of “resume game” and chose a different family the game worked. However my original household I was playing with I still can’t access. I also have no access to the gallery , and when trying to link my EA account it does the endless scrolling yet again 

I've been playing in the save in question for one or two days irl, but I haven't had an extremely long advance within the game itself. Anyway, two days after my bug report the loading magically returned to normal, to be honest it's even faster than normal, which makes me believe it was some problem of the game itself since I didn't changed or did anything to try to solve it by myself.  In the end I'm just happy that, one way or another, it was solved c:

I have been itching to play ever since the latest update but nothing will load past the Home Screen! I downloaded the new fairy pack today to see if that would change anything but no success! Really don’t want to have to wait until the next update to play. Sincerely, a very disappointed simmer :(

Every time I get into resume game it either doesn't load  (gets so far but then stops) or it does load but doesn't load  (again it goes so far then stops) when I click on my household. No mods, I have High School years, Get famous, My wedding stories, and Outdoor retreat. Also I can't access the gallery because I'm not online? The console is connected perfectly to the internet

So upon loading from either CAS or teen returning home from school, the loading bar reaches about 3/4 way loaded and will then not load any further. The plumbob in centre of screen still spins,messages continue to go on screen as does the music?? Ive sat there for over an hour praying it will load in but then give up whilst i still have some sanity left & admit defeat as i return to the Xbox home screen. Then try to restart the game. Its ruining my game play so i beg you to fix asap please!!!!!

I can't play the game, it will sign in and then get stuck on the plumbob loading screen perpetually spinning and the bar full. This wasn't a problem before the update and the system says everything is installed and updated. (xbox) 

It worked for a while if I didn’t open the save file, if I went from the menus to go in. But now it’s at endless scrolling again
