[XB/PS] Events unable to gain rewards

I've so far hosted two house parties, a dinner party, a baby shower, a slumber party and about six funerals and I can never get any achievements. It always says the party or event was a fail. I don't...

The past 3-4 events I’ve tried to host for my sims the task list to get the rewards, does not show up. I’ve tried it with a dinner party, sleep over, and babyshower.
