[XB/PS] UI missing after exiting Build Mode

I went into the build menu and bought a quick item for my sims and then went back to live mode. All the menus were gone and I couldn't even see the title screen when I quit to it. I had go restart the game :( I am playing on xbox

Experiencing this issue as well on Xbox X.

happens when exiting build mode or travelling. Going to menu greats me to a complete white screen. Haven’t had this issue before until I downloaded most of the add-ons/expansions. Have to restart the game to fix it, at least it still lets me save when the UI disappears but still a bummer.

Opened sims 4 everything was normal until I went and made a new character. I can’t play the character, I only can view the sim. Send help. PlayStation 5

Can you share a few more details or screenshots of the exact issue you're seeing- is your game freezing, are you seeing an error, etc? 

it’s only when I go to make a new character. My previous saved games work just fine. I can see the sim, tell the sim to go places and pick things up.
