Gameplay update with Engine change
I encourage EA to continue evolving the game toward a more physics-based gameplay system rather than one that relies heavily on preset animations. College football is fast, chaotic, and unpredictable, with frequent multi-player collisions, broken tackles, and momentum shifts that would benefit greatly from real-time physics. This game has potential to be much better than Madden due to low restrictions unlike the NFL has on Madden. Reducing animation-driven outcomes could lead to more organic plays, fewer animation locks, and a wider variety of realistic results. A strong physics foundation now would help this game grow into a more authentic and immersive college football experience over time.New BF Pro Bonus path is absolutely unfair!
New battlefield pro bonus path just dropped and we have 6 days to accumulate 100 bonus points. The new weeklys only give 30 bonus points maybe extra an 10 with the bonus challenges. This path is literally impossible without paying for the remaining tiers. What an absolute slap in the face to those who paid for BF pro1.9KViews27likes41CommentsPogo's Negative Patterns & Refusal to Listen
Today, I saw the notice that three games are being retired: A Way with Words, Anagrams, and Quinn's Aquarium. This genuinely came as a shock to me because Pogo just sunsetted a bunch of games semi-recently and because Quinn's was notoriously one of the most popular games. The elimination of games after Java obviously made sense, but with the cries of players everywhere yearning for the traditional game files to be revitalized...Pogo and EA have been extremely passive when it comes to their fanbase. Worse still and yet, perhaps most notably, the newest games are going to be similar to Solitaire Home Story, Viola's Diner, etc. which again, players have been VERY vocal in saying that these types of games are not desired. The stylization is more juvenile, the gameplay tends to be more similar to what one could get on thousands of other sites, and they are all driven by a similar building structure. Rather than getting to play at your own leisure, there are energy requirements and the focus shifts to buying in-game items. Essentially, it seems to be a desperate appeal toward younger generations and gaining more money from in-site purchases. Part of their message included the following quote: "Retiring older titles allows us to focus our efforts on building exciting new experiences and continuing to strengthen the Pogo platform for the future." However, in reading the message, the vast majority of people are constantly noting their plans to cancel memberships (if they have not already). The forums are bursting with pleas wishing for how the site and games used to be. The newer games could just as easily be retired to focus their efforts elsewhere, but they choose older games for some bizarre reason. Even then...Quinn's still had some components of a building-based game, albeit with unlimited energy and a much preferred interface for the majority of us. I cannot fathom why Pogo has to sunset it; they could even just leave it there to play infinitely instead of washing it from the site. There is no resolution to this that I myself can provide, nor anyone else on this platform, I am sure. I more so needed a place to lay out my thoughts, which I know many of you share based on some other posts. The website now holds barely 60 games, many of which are subpar & that players dislike (or may be neutral toward at best). With one game being sunsetted after another - and with such poor, glitchy, juvenile, basic games replacing them - Pogo is shifting to a site that I may no longer yearn to frequent.0Views0likes0CommentsEngine Change for Gameplay
I encourage EA to consider moving away from the current animation-heavy engine and toward a more advanced, physics-based system. Football is a dynamic, contact-driven sport, and a real-time physics engine would allow for more natural movement, varied tackles, and realistic collisions involving multiple players. The current reliance on preset animations often leads to repetitive outcomes, animation locking, and unrealistic interactions that break immersion. A physics-driven engine could improve tackling, blocking, momentum, and overall player control across all modes, creating more authentic and unpredictable gameplay. This shift would greatly enhance realism and elevate the Madden experience for both casual and competitive players.Ice Skating Roll-stice challenge
This isnt a major deal cause it’s still doable but the starting position for the named challenge is really dumb! If all the things they want us to do are at the bottom of the hedgemont community park why are we being spawn at the top of it? Just a waste of the couple seconds it takes to get from the top to the bottom when we should automatically just start down there considering everything you need to do is down there!!!BF6 Bring Back Bots
Good morning, the game has become unenjoyable since the removal of bots. I am an older man and it’s hard for me to keep up with some of the fast pace players today. I feel like I was ripped off out of $70, for a feature that helps me relax was taken away. I know there are people that do the “XP farms” and yes I do think it should be taken away, however, do not punish older people like me and many others, keep normal game modes like conquest and etc. If XP is such a problem with bots, then at least make it half XP for a bot kill and full XP for human kill. EA, please make this right and bring back bots so that older people like myself and the millions of other people that play this game can enjoy it. UPDATE: Looks like our voices were heard. Causal breakaway is in the line up. 8v8 with bots.526Views27likes18Comments
