Mass Effect 3 will not start
After logging into the EA app sucessfully and launching Mass Effect 3 2012 edition, I get the error message "we could not activate Mass Effect 3 (2012 Edition) on this computer using the Origin Account you provided. Please locate you product key to activate the game using you Origin Account." I press the button to enter the proper product key, and I get the message that I "must be online" to enter the key. I am online. I have full internet access, and my firewall settings give full access to all EA app components and the game ME3 itself. How do I play this game, that was legitimately purchased and fully installed?Solved48Views0likes3CommentsTo the developer of Mass Effect
I absolutely love all the mass effect games. I love how you can make decisions that change the outcome of the game. I love the flow of the game. How cool would it be to make a full G.I. Joe series designed exactly the same way the Mass Effect gameplay is. The choices you make change the outcome or you can unlock different cobra or Gil Joe characters you can play from either Gi joe or Cobra in fully emerged 360 degree worlds, and bases that would be cool.Mass Effect 3 won't start and always crashes in the Loading Screen.
So... I decided to make another ME Run und everything worked fine for me, until I tried to start ME3. I get into the Menu, Start a New Game, Import my ME2 Character and as soon as the Loading Screen appears the Game Crashes. It just closes and I am back at the MELE Laucnher. No Error window or something. Any Tips for me? Already tried: - Deinstall MELE and Reinstall - Deinstall EA Launcher and Reinstall - Changed ALL Graphics to lowest - Repaired the Game Files 3 Times - Newest NVidia Version... -Deleted the License Folder Help?[PC] Bring Down the Sky installer can't detect main game
I'm moving my games over to a new PC running Windows 11. I installed the game on my new PC using the EA Games app, and I got the DLC installer off of the EA website, but when I tried to run the EXE, it says it can't find the main game and won't install. This might be because I didn't install the main game in the default directory that the EA Games app was initially set for, but I'm not sure. I tried the fix suggested at this link, but it didn't work: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mass_Effect#DLC_installers_error_.22Mass_Effect_is_not_found.22SolvedME1 Launch issues
The Mass Effect LE launcher works, but when launching ME1, you can hear the music and see the cursor, but there is no rendered window. The taskbar shows that the app is open, but the window has no contents and just shows the desktop. I tried validating game files, launching through EA and launching from .exe in the binaries\win64 folder.
New Game Mass Effect
Hello BioWare Team, As a long-time and dedicated fan of the Mass Effect series, I would like to contribute an idea regarding story continuity in the upcoming game. Given the various endings of Mass Effect 3 and the teaser with Liara and the N7 armor, it's clear that addressing this will be crucial for many. I propose the following approach, which would respect player choices while allowing for a strong continuation of the story: * Allow save imports from any Mass Effect 3 ending: Enable players to transfer their saved game regardless of which ME3 ending they chose (Destroy, Control, Synthesis, Refuse). This would honor their investment and emotional decisions. * Canonicalize the "Destroy" ending (with Shepard's survival) through additional content: * For players who import a save from the "Destroy" ending (under conditions where Shepard survives), the new game would unlock special dialogues, side quests, and deeper interactions related to Shepard's return and their romantic relationships. This would serve as a direct continuation of their story. * Explanation for Shepard's survival: This could be simply linked to the nanotechnology and enhancements Shepard received through Project Lazarus in Mass Effect 2. If Shepard survived such an ordeal, surviving the final explosion, supported by these enhancements, would make sense. * EDI's fate: Similarly, if the Normandy could be repaired (as suggested by the scene after the Destroy ending), EDI, as its integral digital component, could also be restored in some way, perhaps in a different form or requiring reactivation. Her deep connection to the ship could serve as a bridge. * For other endings: If a player imports a save from another ending (Control, Synthesis, Refuse), the new game could assume that Shepard did not physically survive and became a legend. Dialogues and the story in such cases would focus on Shepard's legacy and its repercussions, but without directly continuing their personal relationship storylines. Players would still be immersed in the world, but would be subtly motivated to try the Destroy ending if they wish to experience the "complete" narrative. I believe this approach would allow BioWare to continue Shepard's powerful story (as hinted by the teaser), while respecting the diversity of player choices and providing players with clear motivation. Hey everyone, fellow Mass Effect fans! I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now and I'd love to hear what you all think about it. It's about connecting the Mass Effect 3 endings with the new game and the potential return of Shepard. My thought is that BioWare could allow us to import our saves from ME3 with any ending, but the dialogue options related to romantic relationships and full Shepard continuity would only unlock if you chose the "Destroy" ending where Shepard survives. This could be explained by the nanotechnology from the Lazarus Project. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it would help BioWare elegantly bridge the story and also respect player choices? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!
