My EA App is showing friends offline when they aren't
So I logged in EA and my friends list is showing that they all are offline when I know they aren't and they aren't blocking me from seeing them. I can run Battlefield fine, but I cannot join their squad. I restarted the app, logged out and back in, restarted my computer, cleared my cache and went offline and back online. What else could I do to fix this?
Can't edit my profile in the EA App, showing an old name under my actual name
Hello. I just installed the EA app and was going through my friend list when I noticed an old name I haven't used in years was being displayed under my actual name. I want to get rid of this because it includes part of my real name, but there's no option to edit my profile in the app. When I click my name in the top right and then click My Profile it brings up this: As you can see it's trying to ask me to add myself to my friend list, theres no other option besides in the ... menu to block and report myself. I can only see this grey name when I click on a friend and scroll down their list to find myself. I also noticed that in the My account page for Settings in the app it only shows 'Odbolt' until I view myself in someones friendslist and then it changes to add the old name under it as well. Before: After: This is clearly a bug and I don't want that name associated/attached to my account any more. It seems like something EA needs to fix for me, what can I do here? Thanks for reading.
Cannot change EA ID; Enter a valid EA ID
Hey, so I wanted to change my EA ID back to my original nickname "tfJumper", but the account settings keeps rejecting me from using it saying its not vaild. I tried only lowercases, numbers, underscores but none of them work. I had a sub account with that ID but i recently changed it so I know it is a vaild ID please help
Can't see some of my online friends
Well For a week i have been unable to see in my friends list 2 mates of mine which are definitely online. I can see other people but not them (no idea if this is valid for other friends). We can even see each other the "other person is typing" in chat but no online status for them. Everything is running smooth for them apparently the problem is on my side (They have not set their status on invisible, we checked) Already tried clearing the EA App cache, uninstalling the EA App. Contacting EA support seems impossible since when i click on "start chat" i get thrown back to the "select your problem" page It's been a week now.
friends not showing online
This started 2 days ago. my friends and i were playing pga tour the night before. and poof out of no were we all cant see each other online nor send game invites to each other. i dont get it billion dollar company and they cant get a simple app to work 😡😡. Does anyone else have this issue or a way to fix it. i have tried clering the cache and logging out and back in i even blocked them and unblocked them and still nothing.
