Can’t do the kiss or hug pet infections
Ever since the newest may 2026 update I can’t do the introduction of hugging kissing or “feel the love “ with my pets my sun will just hold the pet standing still until I cancel the infraction and when I try to hover the cursor over the pet the Tim is holfinf the little name tag / relationship thing is aimed at the ground like my pet is still downWhenever my game comes to a loading screen it wont actually load.
at first I created a new sim and it went to the loading screen so I could select their lot. However, it just continued loading and wouldn't leave the loading screen. I thought this was a fluke so I force quit the game and went back to playing. Thankfully my sim was saved and I got to select her lot. But, when I went to leave her the loading screen once again would not load. I even made sure y computer was up to date and the game. This issue has happened about 10 times and I am a little frustrated. I just wanted to play sims 😭.Refund on Lightspeed bundle?
I accidentally purchased the wrong lightspeed bundle for rey trying to buy the Galactic legend rey bundle but bought the one for jedi training rey could I possibly get a refund for it and buy the GL rey bundle instead? I already had most the characters from the bundle at relic 5 so i’d pretty much had spent $10 for chewbacca I heard you can get banned for doing a charge back I didn’t know if that would count if I went through apple support I hadn’t used anything from the bundle if that means anything if there’s anyone could give me an answer i’d very much appreciate it thank you and have a good day.
Gallery UI shows garbled info on some early lot uploads
I've noticed that in the gallery, some lots that were uploaded back when The Sims 4 just came out (circa 2014) show missing and garbled information. This is noticeable on some early Maxis lots and the included screenshot shows an example. Despite that, these lots are still able to be downloaded and used in-game through the Manage Worlds menu (although the lot size requires some guesswork), and once placed they'll show the correct information. Would still be good to have this UI bug fixed nevertheless.
Missing "Purchase Book" option & broken Vampire interactions
I am experiencing two major game-breaking bugs in my game right now Vampire Interaction Issues My Sims cannot mix plasma drinks, and all interactions related to Vampires/Mixology are completely broken. Broken Purchase Menu The Purchase Book option on bookshelves and computers now only displays books that my Sim already owns. The rest of the standard book catalog (skill books, novels, etc.) is completely missing from the shop interface When did this start? The Vampire issue started first. Later, I used an in-game cheat code once to cure a Sim's vampirism. Shortly after that, My Sims cannot mix plasma drinks, and all interactions related to Vampires/Mixology then the Purchase Book interaction completely broken. What I have already tried (and did NOT work): Repairing the game: I ran the "Repair" option via the EA Application, but it did not fix either issue. Full Reinstall: I completely uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4, but the problems persist. Has anyone encountered this specific interface disappearance or found a fix to restore the book purchasing option and Vampire scripts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Camera doesn't work properly
I logged on to play the sims for the first time in about a week yesterday and found that my camera wasn't working how it normally would. Usually, to pan the screen, I would left click and drag, and it would allow me free control of looking up, down, left, right - basically allow me to get the exact angle I wanted. Now, when I try to do that it just moves as if I am using the wasd keys and I am unable to look up or down at all. This has never occurred to me before and only did this after I updated the game yesterday morning. I even removed all mods I had, and I still had the same issue. I am hoping this could be fixed quickly as it is rather annoying. Incase anyone is wondering, I use and have always used the sims 4 camera option (or edge scrolling, whatever its called) in the game, and I play on my laptop.
