Bluetooth Output Device bug
When using bluetooth for in game audio sound cuts out completely when starting up the game, or when you head into settings (no audio outside apex aswell) and then you have to tamper with the output preferences to get it back working. As an MnK player, I would like to make a suggestion to improve game fairness and overall player experience. In Apex Legends, controller (PAD) input is equipped with strong aim assist (primarily in the 0.4–0.6 range), while MnK input has no aim assist whatsoever. This design appears to respect the precision of the mouse, but it has resulted in a significant performance gap in practice. According to reliable large-scale statistical data (such as R5 Reloaded analysis): PAD average accuracy: ~33.57% MnK average accuracy: ~25.72% PAD players record approximately 30.5% higher accuracy. Furthermore, the top 60% of PAD players surpass the accuracy of the top 1% of MnK players, and even the top 4% of MnK players only barely reach the overall PAD average. Reports also indicate that PAD holds roughly a 31.5% advantage in KD ratio. This disparity is difficult to overcome even for highly skilled MnK players who fully utilize advanced movement and character control. Especially in close-to-mid range tracking fights and chaotic team fights, the controller’s rotational aim assist provides a major advantage, affecting overall engagement win rates. Proposal I kindly request that a very light aim assist of around 0.2 be introduced for MnK as well. Compared to the controller’s 0.4–0.6, 0.2 is sufficiently modest. It would not compromise the mouse’s inherent precision while still partially correcting the accuracy gap. Taking the existing ~30% accuracy difference into account, I believe this would be an appropriate adjustment range. After implementation, the value can be fine-tuned based on data. Possible approaches include: If issues arise: adjust downward (0.2 → 0.15 → 0.125) Alternatively: start at 0.1 and gradually increase (0.1 → 0.15 → 0.2) while monitoring balance I believe this cautious, data-driven approach would allow for meaningful improvement with minimal disruption. Expected Effects Reduce MnK player churn and encourage new MnK players to join Improve overall match quality by addressing input method disparities Contribute to a healthier community overall I apologize for reaching out despite your busy schedule, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could verify this using official data or internal testing and consider the proposal. We need to bring back Quads & Solos! With the recent positive changes for Apex Legends, I think it would be the right time to consider bringing back quads and/or solos. The benefits this will bring to Apex Legends outweigh the cons. Why? Many people play with more than 3 friends at once, which can be difficult when you frequently have to split the team. The availability of quads would increase the amount of people who play Apex Legends on a regular basis by making the game accesible to larger teams, which in return would give matchmaking more people to choose from. What about matchmaking? There are enough players on Apex Legends already to alter matchmaking in a way that reduces wait times, not only from the an increase in players playing as quads. I personally believe that Ash needs a buff, at her peak when she was "unbalanced" she had 2 dashes which each has a 30% speed bonus compared to 1 now, while also nerfing the Ash dash cooldown to (8 or 12) seconds (I timed 10 seconds), I think a fair change would be to change the dash cooldown, speed, or amount. Dashing currently feels very momentum based, its only really useful if you do it with speed already (e.g. after a superglide/mantle boost/wall bounce/jump pad etc) but when doing a normal slide jump, it feels very unrewarding. First option Change Ash dash cooldown to 6 seconds (1 max dash), and give a small bonus speed % (e.g. 15%). I believe she should become an Assault, as characters like Revenant, Fuse, have very high movement capabilities but also stay in the Assault role. Second option Make Ashes cooldown 8 seconds, if not already 8 seconds, make her Level 2 (Blue perks) the current Level 3 (Purple perks) (+1 Snare // or // Multiple enemies snared and longer duration), then make her purple perks something like (+1 dash // or // -30s Ult cooldown). The level 3 perks are suggested so you still need to get her to level 3 before you can get an extra dash if you want to chose that, and with the previously nerfed speed of ash dashes it would be the furthest thing from overpowered. With an extra potential dash i feel like she would fit more into the (Skirmisher role). These are only ideas, if in testing they would be too overpowered nerf at your own will but i believe it would create more balance as the current Ash pick rate is pretty low. Dear Respawn Team, I hope you can add a random heirloom option in the game, just like the random weapon skin function. Let players turn on this switch, and the game will randomly select owned heirlooms every match automatically. Now many players have collected lots of character heirlooms and universal heirlooms. It is really troublesome to switch them manually every time. This small quality of life change will bring great convenience and fun to all players. This function is simple to achieve and will not affect game balance at all. I’m a console and controller player and use a 5, 4 aiming sensitivity to have pretty decent aim in the game, all the legends don’t seem to be too quick or overpowered for the 4 ads aiming sensitivity I use but Axle is so quick with her tac and sliding that when I aim in my sense and controller aiming speed is way too slow to even track her down when she’s sliding and shooting at me and for the Axle it’s easy to hit me because their pushing me and sliding around me, I just think this legend needs a speed nerf and nerf overall because it is unfair for us controller players with smooth and slow aiming sensitivities.URMOMBEFLAT5551 day agoSeasoned Newcomer30Views0likes0CommentsConsole cheaters are getting out of hand.
Okay so I’m back here again about a year later and somehow even after your little ban wave there seems to be even more cheaters now on console than ever before! And they don’t even hide it! Half of them advertising boosting in their names or simply say they’re cheating! Yet somehow we are still here just letting them run rampant! People always say that aim assist exists to help casual players. If that's the case, I don't understand why it's still allowed in Ranked and the competitive scene. Is it impossible to see a competition based purely on raw skill among top players in Apex? I can understand having it in casual or other modes, but I don't get why it's in Ranked. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else but I’m getting frustrated by it. I’m in a ranked game and in random moments it just disconnects me off the game. No it’s not my connection, I have a LAN cable with 300MBPS connection speed. It’s happened to me twice by now and not only that, I’m getting a penalty for “abandoning” the game and an MR reduction. I actually don’t hate Axle. To be honest, I think she brought a pretty interesting and refreshing pace to Apex. That said, I do think her Ultimate is currently too punishing for certain weapon types. I’m not even saying the Ultimate necessarily needs less HP. The problem is that some weapons are naturally far worse at dealing with it than others. Maybe instead of simply lowering the drone’s health, could experiment with weapon-class damage multipliers against the Ultimate. For example: shotguns could deal bonus damage to the drone at close range Snipers and Marksman weapons could also receive increased damage against it while automatic weapons would remain mostly unchanged. So: new season idea, and its pretty easy to inplement tbh. Shadow Royale, love or hate it I think it has its merits. I think a new season based around it woukd be incredible one of these upcoming halloweens. Here would be some of the highlights: Bring back night time maps. E-District at Night, King's Canyon at Night, Olympus at Night, etc. I know I and plenty of other people appreciate the darker courts sometimes, and would love to see them in game in some way. New Legend: Shadow Revenant We already have a backstory, some abilities, animations, voice lines, etc. He can wall run and does 50 per melee, he can launch a rev shell as a tactical, there are plenty of ideas explored through halloween events that can be used as his abilities. New Gun: Mozam-mash Let's be real: the communitu live the Mozamblam, Mozamblique, and Mozambrrrr, so bring them back. Make them into one gun like the car which switches ammo types to do its different effects, and nerf them all a bit to make it balanced for game. No one will pass by a Mozambique again !!!! New Cosmetics: Halloween themed skins for some of the newer arrivals, like a skeletal motorbiker Axle and a Magma Catalyst, maybe a Mummy Sparrow and a Frankenstein (Victor Frankenstein) Ballistic. The possibilities are endless. If u like this idea and want to hear more, I have plenty of in depth and lore accurate ideas to share. I think the biggest issue people have with the character is that Axle's abilities completely violate the flow and timing of fights. Even at their strongest, characters like Octane, Horizon, Ash, and Alter still remained within the bounds of the game's timing. Axle has completely changed that timing, and for a lot of people it ruins the experience and flow of the game. Axle will invariably get nerfed, but how will that look? The way the kit is designed pretty much makes this character all or nothing. The tactical ability: This is basically an Octane ult on steroids that refreshes way too quickly. Players stay low to the ground, can potentially get double jumps from the purple perk, and the pads remain forever (unless destroyed, similar to Octane's pad). Possible nerfs: Substantially increased cooldown time, only x amount of pads deployed at one time, substantially decreased sliding distance, pads disappearing after x amount of time, only Axle being able to use them. The ultimate: heat seeking missile that goes through any fortification Possible nerfs: Gibby bubble, Newcastle wall, Wattson pylon (stops ult entirely)/fences, Crypto emp all make the ult detonate before breaching. All of these nerfs will greatly diminish the potency and viability of this character.
