Mad Maggie’s Riot Drill no longer sticks to the ground
Hello, I would like to report an issue with Mad Maggie’s tactical ability, Riot Drill. The Riot Drill used to stick to the ground properly, but recently it has stopped doing so. When I try to use it on the ground, it often does not stick and fails to deploy correctly. This issue makes the ability difficult to use, especially during fights when I need to place it quickly. I believe this may be a bug. Could you please look into this issue? Thank you for your help.Foox__qqq1 hour agoNewcomer3Views0likes1Commentafter 7+ years? E-District everywhere, broken matchmaking, lazy recolors
Title: 7+ YEARS LATER: Server/netcode issues, absurd matchmaking, E-District everywhere, endless recolors and Axle I’ve been playing Apex Legends since day one in 2019. More than seven years. I genuinely love the core gameplay of Apex. I wouldn’t still be playing after all this time if I didn’t. But at this point there are several things about this game that are honestly becoming ridiculous, and the biggest one isn’t a Legend, a weapon, a map or even matchmaking. It’s the networking and server experience. THE SERVERS / NETCODE SHOULD BE THE #1 PRIORITY How is this STILL one of the biggest complaints after more than seven years? Respawn’s own published technical deep dive stated that Apex servers operate at 20Hz, meaning the server simulates the game world once every 50 milliseconds. Unless this has since changed without being properly communicated, how are we still accepting this in one of the fastest and most mechanically demanding competitive shooters on the market? Apex is a game built around: extremely fast movement tracking strafing sliding tap-strafing rapid direction changes precise gunplay relatively long TTK And yet the networking experience regularly feels like it belongs to a completely different generation of FPS games. How many times do players have to experience: Getting shot after already reaching cover. Closing a door and dying through it anyway. Seeing shots connect but getting inconsistent hit registration. Feeling like the enemy had noticeably more time to react than you did. Getting packet loss, prediction errors or random server problems despite having an otherwise perfectly stable connection. Before networking becomes an absolute top priority? And yes, I understand that networking is more complicated than simply saying: “20Hz bad, 60Hz good.” Ping matters. Jitter matters. Packet loss matters. Lag compensation matters. The replication model matters. Netcode matters. But that’s exactly the point. After SEVEN YEARS, I don’t care which individual component needs to change. Improve the entire experience. Look at Counter-Strike 2. Valve introduced a sub-tick system specifically so the server can know the precise moment important actions such as movement and firing occur instead of relying purely on traditional tick boundaries. I’m not saying Apex needs to copy Counter-Strike’s architecture. I’m saying a competitive FPS should make shooting another player feel as immediate, accurate and trustworthy as technically possible. When I lose a fight, I want to think: “He was better than me.” Not: “What the hell did the server just decide happened?” That distinction is MASSIVE in a competitive shooter. Players can tolerate losing. What gets incredibly frustrating is losing when what happened on your screen doesn’t seem to match what the server decided happened. You can release new Legends, heirlooms, events, Battle Passes and $20 skins forever. But none of that matters if the FOUNDATION of the game sometimes feels unreliable. If there’s one area of Apex where I would happily see a massive amount of development resources invested, it’s this. E-DISTRICT EVERYWHERE Then we have E-District. I’m adding my voice to the enormous number of players who absolutely cannot stand this map. I hate playing it. And apparently it isn’t enough for it to simply be part of the rotation. There are times when I open Apex and somehow: Ranked: E-District Battle Royale/Pubs: E-District Wildcard: E-District Seriously? You created multiple game modes and somehow managed to make ALL OF THEM offer the same map at the same time. If somebody doesn’t want to play E-District, what exactly is the alternative? Close Apex? Great game design. I don’t expect every map to be my favourite. Obviously different people enjoy different maps. But the rotations should be staggered so there is ALWAYS another option. Having one controversial map active across practically every major mode simultaneously is absurd. MATCHMAKING IS STILL A JOKE Then there is matchmaking. I genuinely don’t understand how the skill disparity in some Apex lobbies can possibly be considered acceptable. I solo queue and get random teammates who can finish an entire fight with something like 30 damage. Meanwhile I’m fighting players with Master/Predator badges who beam people from ridiculous distances, have insane movement and look like they’re warming up for ALGS. I’m watching enemies spray me from ridiculous range with an R-99 while tap-strafing around the fight… …while my random teammate seems to be discovering what his tactical ability does. How are these players being placed in the SAME lobby? And before somebody says: “Skill issue.” That’s literally my point. If somebody is significantly better than me, PUT THEM AGAINST PEOPLE OF THEIR SKILL LEVEL. And if somebody is significantly worse than me, don’t throw them onto my team and expect that to somehow create a balanced match. Surely we have enough information available after seven years to produce reasonably balanced skill brackets. K/D. Recent performance. MMR. Rank. Win rate. Damage. Accuracy. Whatever combination statistically creates fair matches. Use it. I would happily sit in matchmaking for another 30–60 seconds if it means getting a lobby where teammates and opponents are at least somewhere within the same universe of ability. Queue speed should not be more important than match quality. THE STORE HAS BECOME A RECOLOR FACTORY Then we get to the Store. What happened to creativity? Seriously. At this point the cosmetic development process sometimes feels like: Step 1: Find an old skin. Step 2: Change red to blue. Step 3: Put it back in the Store. Step 4: Charge money. Step 5: Repeat forever. Recolor. Recolor. Recolor of a recolor. Then another recolor six months later. This is one of the largest live-service shooters in the world. Where are the genuinely crazy skins? Where are the designs where I open the Store and immediately think: “Holy **bleep**, whoever designed this absolutely cooked.” Give the artists freedom to create something completely new. New models. New concepts. Crazy themes. Something we’ve never seen before. Because charging premium prices while repeatedly recycling old cosmetic designs starts feeling less like premium content and more like somebody discovered the Hue/Saturation slider. I WANT to see a skin so good that I actually WANT to spend money on it. Give me a reason. AXLE’S KICKSTART IS STILL ABSURD And then there’s Axle. Specifically Kickstart. Yes, I know it’s already received balance changes. It still feels ridiculous. In a 1v1, an Axle with her Ultimate available can create an insane advantage. The drone follows you. You have to deal with it while also fighting Axle. And Axle herself has the mobility from Nitro Gate to stay on you. So what exactly is the counterplay supposed to be? Shoot Axle and get hit by the drone? Stop shooting Axle and concentrate on the drone while she shoots you? Run away while fighting one of the Legends specifically equipped with excellent mobility? Fantastic choices. An Ultimate can obviously be powerful. That’s why it’s an Ultimate. But powerful and oppressive are not the same thing. There needs to be meaningful counterplay. Make the drone easier to destroy. Reduce its ability to chase/reacquire targets. Reduce how punishing it is when it connects. Give players SOME meaningful way to outplay it besides simply abandoning the fight. When I can put an enormous amount of damage into an incoming ability — even using something as powerful as a Kraber — and still feel like the ability has more control over the fight than my actual gun does, something isn’t right. Even Respawn’s own balance discussions have acknowledged that Kickstart can be too oppressive. Please keep adjusting it. AFTER SEVEN YEARS, I JUST WANT THE FOUNDATION TO BE GOOD The frustrating part is that underneath all of this is still an incredible game. Apex has some of the best movement and gunplay I’ve ever experienced in an FPS. That’s precisely why these problems annoy me so much. I’ve been here since Season 0. I WANT Apex to succeed. But please prioritize the things that actually determine whether playing the game feels good: Fix/improve the networking experience. Give us reliable, responsive gunfights. Stop synchronizing the same map across every mode. Prioritize match quality over instant queue times. Give us genuinely creative cosmetics instead of endless recolors. Give oppressive abilities meaningful counterplay. I don’t need another recolored skin. I don’t need another overpriced bundle. I don’t need another event Store. I want to launch Apex, get a sensible map choice, enter a reasonably balanced lobby, shoot somebody and trust that the server accurately registered what happened. After more than seven years, that really shouldn’t be too much to ask.7Views0likes0CommentsFalse Advertising
I bought the serpent sting, as it displayed a blade with a sharp edge and a flat edge, with the option to upgrade to a weird half sharp half spiked version. Now my serpent sting has a 50/50 chance to switch to that spiked version as soon as i load into a game, and can only be fixed on occasion by relaunching the game. This spiked heirloom looks terrible, is there a way to get a refund or get it fixed? I feel misled. I have attached what it was supposed to look like.HappyFloof23 hours agoNewcomer14Views0likes0CommentsClass Passive Perks Overview
Assault: Battle Surge - Breaking enemy shield increases sprint and reload speeds. Combat Reserve - Carry extra Ammo and Ordnance. Stowed Reload - Automatically reload stowed weapons after a short delay. Skirmisher: Care Package Insight - Reveal Care Package contents to see the highest value item inside. Trailblazer - Allies get a speed boost if they are running towards you at a long distances. Charged Knock - Gain health and shields regen on a knock. Recon: Access Survey Beacons - Scan Survey Beacons to reveal nearby enemy positions for a short time. Threat Vision - Gain threat vision when aiming down sights Support: Revive Expert - Revives are faster (unless revived by D.O.C.) and grant HP regen, Banner Crafting & Ally Deathboxes spawn Mobile Respawn Beacons. Controller: Access Ring Consoles - Activate Ring Consoles to reveal the next circle's location. Activate Ring Consoles a second time to EVAC. Reinforce Hardlight - Reinforce or Rebuild Hardlight meshes to fortify areas. Zone Overcharge - Gain 25 extra shield capacity and slowly regenerate shields while inside the current safe zone. _____________________________________________ Since I mostly play with Recon and Controller Legends I never really paid close attention to the Passive Perks for other classes. I'm starting to realize that some of these Passive Perks have caused some imbalance in Apex resorting in extreme favoritism towards the Assault and Skirmisher classes. Apex, by nature, is a skirmishing game. Additionally, there are 7 Skirmisher Legends, the most for any class. Furthermore, the Skirmisher class has the Charged Knock perk, as mentioned above. Personally, I don't understand why the Skirmisher class has this perk when they already have "skirmishing abilities" that give them an advantage in immediate fights. Legends that have less "skirmishing abilities" would be better served with this type of perk. Also, the Charged Knock perk creates a fabricated skill gap in the game. If Skirmisher mains are given this type of advantage in combat, how does this result in them being highly skilled players. IMO, this perk should be removed from the game entirely. IMO, the Assault Passive Perks align with that class. Although, these perks also overshadow the perks of the Recon, Support, and Contoller classes. Overall, the evidence shows that it is best to play Skirmisher first and Assault second in order to really enjoy the benefits of combat engagement in this game. The Passive Perks for the Recon, Support, and Controller classes are mostly team perks that have no direct influence on combat engagement, resource, and survivability during an immediate fight compared to the the Assault and Skirmisher classes. Furthermore, the Zone Overcharge perk for the Controller class only works when in zone. Most matches players don't go to zone until they're forced by the ring, making this perk useless for immediate fights out of zone. Overall, all Class Passive Perks should be team perks, not individual perks that can help some Legends in immediate fights. Especially when those Legends already have Assault and Skirmisher abilities that give them an edge in immediate fights. In conclusion, the Skirmisher class, specifically, is way too strong. As mentioned above, there are 7 Skirmishers that have skirmishing abilities and gain health and shields regen on a knock. I'm against any Class Passive Perk ability that gives a Legend/Player extra survivability incentives in immediate fights. For now on, I'm playing with Skirmisher Legends only. I want that health and shield regen in immediate fights.eldercitizen1 day agoSeasoned Ace23Views0likes2CommentsGame is unplayable at Diamond+ ranks on console due to the amount of cheaters.
It has always been a problem on console with Zens, Strikepacks and Zims. Now Titans are making it even worse but the fact that auto detection isn't running to kick them out is crazy. I agree you will lose some of the player base if you hardware ban them but you are losing the player base that isn't cheating as there is no point in playing now. It is no longer fun and most people won't complain they will just move on. This game is easily the best shooter/BR on console and it's devastating that it is no longer playable. Invest and root out the cheaters automatically and get it back to skill based game, it's literally Zen Vs Zen right now. I see a havoc zoomed to 4x beeming every other squad I spectate in diamond+, please just fix it.herpees94851 day agoSeasoned Newcomer10Views0likes0CommentsGive us the ability to avoid certain teammates, please.
Hi! It would be awesome to have a way to avoid a specific player, at least for a while, for two or three weeks, or a month. It would also be great to have the option to permanently block certain players. For instance, we could have 3-5 permanent block slots for players, and we could manage that list to choose who to unblock and who to add.... well, let's be honest, reports don't always help. I really love the game, but not all teammates make the experience enjoyable. So besides being able to mute someone, it would be great to have a way to actually avoid matching with them for a period of time. I've had plenty of situations where I muted or reported someone, and then that same player still ended up on my team a few more times. That's pretty frustrating. Thanks in advance.22Views1like1CommentPlease extend Streamer Mode to hide all teammate IDs everywhere
Hello Apex Legends team, I am an Apex Legends streamer, and I would like to request an expansion of Streamer Mode. At the moment, Streamer Mode does not consistently anonymize the IDs/usernames of every teammate in every place where they can appear. Please make Streamer Mode affect all teammate IDs across the entire game interface, including matched teammates—not only selected names or specific screens. This is important because a randomly matched teammate's username may contain offensive or rule-violating content. Even though the streamer did not choose or create that name, showing it on stream can still cause moderation problems and may even lead to the stream being suspended or banned. This protection is especially important for Apex streamers in Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, where platform moderation and regional streaming requirements can make unintended on-screen usernames a serious risk. Requested behavior: When Streamer Mode is enabled, anonymize every teammate ID wherever it appears. Apply this to premade and randomly matched teammates. Cover all relevant UI locations, such as squad panels, banners, match summaries, spectating views, and other screens where teammate IDs may appear. Thank you for considering this streamer-safety improvement.4Views0likes0CommentsRequest for Manual Review and Unban of Wrongfully Banned Apex Legends Account
Dear EA Official Review Team, I am a loyal player of Apex Legends. My game account was suddenly banned by the system recently. Since the ban, I have been unable to log in to the game and participate in matches normally, which has seriously affected my gaming experience. Up to now, I have checked repeatedly through the EA client, account backend and penalty record page. However, I cannot find any specific ban reasons, violation items, violation time or corresponding penalty basis. The system only shows that my account is banned due to violations, without any detailed explanation or public notice. I hereby solemnly declare that I have always strictly abided by the EA User Agreement, Apex Legends game rules and anti-cheating regulations since I registered and used this account. I always play fairly and manually. I have never used any third-party illegal tools such as cheats, scripts, macros, game file tampering, frame rate modification, ESP or aimbot. I have never engaged in any irregular behaviors including power-leveling, rank boosting, toxic teaming, insulting teammates, malicious bug exploitation or profiting from game vulnerabilities. All my in-game behaviors are compliant and normal. I have not committed any violations of game rules. This account ban is most likely a false judgment caused by system anti-cheat misdetection, algorithm error or background data exception. It is an unjustified wrong ban. I cherish my game account very much. I have always played the game rationally with no bad records. This unexplained ban makes me extremely confused and helpless. Without any detailed violation information, I cannot check or correct problems by myself, and I have no effective way to solve this issue. I formally submit this unban appeal to the EA official team. I sincerely request the review team to check my account login logs, device records, IP records, full game match data and behavioral operation records, and conduct a comprehensive and detailed manual review of this penalty. If the verification confirms that I have not committed any violations, I sincerely hope the official team can lift the account ban and restore the normal access of my account. I will continue to abide by all game rules strictly and maintain fair and legitimate gaming behavior. I am willing to fully cooperate with all official investigations and provide all required information including account details, device information and login records at any time. I sincerely hope the official team will verify this case and handle it fairly. I am looking forward to your reply.Solvedml199702151 day agoRising Newcomer12Views0likes1CommentTOS Abuse reports leave somethnig to be desired

Please bring Shadowfall back ❤️ Respawn, I honestly don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but I really hope you do. Please bring Shadowfall back for Halloween. I know it was years ago, but I still remember playing that mode. There was just something about it that felt completely different from normal Apex. Dropping into that dark version of Kings Canyon, knowing that if you died you’d come back as a Shadow, and then watching the number of surviving Legends slowly get smaller… And then when it was finally time to escape, everyone had to run together toward the ship while a whole army of Shadows was chasing you. I don’t know how to explain it properly, but that feeling was special. It was scary, exciting, and honestly some of the most fun I’ve ever had in Apex. I know Apex has had other Halloween modes since then, and I’m not saying they’re bad. I just really miss Shadowfall specifically. I’d love to experience it again, even if it’s only for one Halloween event. I know bringing back an old mode probably isn’t as simple as just turning it on. Things change, the game changes, and I’m sure there are a lot of reasons why it hasn’t returned. But if there’s any chance you guys could bring it back, please do. There are probably a lot of us who would absolutely lose our minds seeing that old nighttime Kings Canyon and the Shadows again. Please, Respawn. Give us Shadowfall one more time. 🎃🖤 I really miss this mode.5Views1like0CommentsApex ability annoyance
Apex has always been to me a fun gun fight battle royal. I stop playing about season 20 due to just not fin gameplay style with abilities wasn't awful just not for me. Now coming back season 29 into 30. It not close to the same game. I actually hate how it feels when I play. You will have a nice fight going then ability kind comes out of no where and ends the fight. I dislike Sparrow a lot honestly could be removed and I don't anyone would care. Its his ultimate that really ruins the gameplay. A well place ultimate creates barrier and if it hits a team well it's over. But Sparrow isnt the only one. I won't complain about axle it's pretty obvious why she's busted. But to many champions have slows and that's where the game gets ruined. Apex has been mostly about mobility and positioning. To much movement ruins position cause skill..mobility in almost all game has the highest gap and it's hard to balance. I feel apex has chosen to counter mobility with abilities. But for regular players it just creates a worse gameplay experience. You may think it would help but if I'm enjoying my self in a gun fight and it ends due to a seer landing a ability or a watson running in and dropping tons of fences ( which kind of fine, if a team it's not like your actually going to let a watson run in but solo q it happens). I did read support meta but supports really only become strong with lack of cool downs and coordination. Newcastle and mirage ( I'd say Gibby but you guys love him and keep his busted anymore.) are expectations due to overloaded kits and removable of things .( Aka down shield upgrades). And my final gripe really is now that it's ability base your just waiting for the buff and nerfs to play your favorite champions. With current game if your not playing meta champions it feels like your a playing a side character and forcing a disadvantage to yourself. Also one thing I've noticed is you try to balance champions that no one likes to play against. Not trying to be to people favorite champions but when a champ is annoying to play against just leave the nerf to the ground. Caustic has become that one where I actually have just quit in a match because why does he blind and slow? It's gas and he is a control legend not a I can run at you cause I disabled you and have tanky health. I will try to keep playing but to many matches I go well that was stupid or obviously a cheater. ( Or maybe someone who can just head shots with the r99 since you just pull down) And why I say stupid my team just gets wipe in instance or a very well place ability destroy my team. I prefer all legends to be playable to some degree not well if you want kills or to win games you must place these Ps bloodhound rework was terrible.. sorry I like the concept but again with overloaded kits mirage will always be better with the amount of Invisibility he has and how it works.a3e854fb523e978f1 day agoSeasoned Newcomer4Views0likes0CommentsApex Match Making
I've been playing ONLY Apex Legends for about 7 years now & season 29 & 30 SBMM is so bad I'm tempted to stop playing. 96% of my matches I am placed bottom of the lobby (redline far left of grey box) I have over 50 screenshots to prove that it's broken. Its got to a point that it's unplayable, it's not enjoyable at all, I'm am the cannon fodder for all the other players & our team gets taken out very quickly due to positioning. Really need your support on this because it's shocking!Chris_Est691 day agoNew Novice9Views0likes1CommentTo many cheaters on console
make console cross play with PC or im absolutely moving on to a new game for good and won't come back. Such a fun game without cheaters. But the problem is you would have to ban 50% of your console player base from diamond and above which accounts for roughly 20% of the console population if not more that you would have to ban in total clean up your game and watch it come back to life or keep sucking all the money you can out of cheaters until it dies around Christmas. It's an easy fix use the cheats yourself Respawn to build a proper and articulate cheat detection system.Rosedog11111 day agoRising Traveler14Views0likes0CommentsConsole Keyboard and Mouse Support
Throughout my childhood I played Titanfall and Titanfall 2 on Xbox like my life depended on it and was obsessed with everything about those games so when I seen Apex was coming out I had a lot of hope. Unfortunately before Apex’s release I was diagnosed with Systemic Onset Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis which completely took my ability to use my hands or legs correctly and games were all I had. My disease caused it to be very uncomfortable and painful to use controllers so I switched to keyboard and mouse as kind of my own way of “physical therapy” after many years I was able to play fully comfortable and pretty decent on keyboard and mouse as well as help my joints perform much better with less pain. As you know Apex didn’t have Kbam support on console so unfortunately I missed out on basically the entirety of the game, I recently installed it again about a month ago and forced myself to just play because I have been wanting to for so long, I have been enjoying it a lot it’s just still very uncomfortable on my joints playin controller and just doesn’t immerse me into games like it used to. If you took the time to read all of this I really appreciate it and would love if you kept this in mind and hopefully help to get Kbam support to console Apex🖤3Views0likes0CommentsRC Filter and Aim Assist
As a player, I want to share my thoughts on the recent strict enforcement of RC filters. I don't know if this decision is entirely right or wrong, but I respect the developers for making a firm decision and taking action in a difficult situation, knowing that device makers and users of those features would likely push back. Following this, I want to talk about the arguments over "whether aim assist is good or bad" and "what the numbers should be," which have flared up again. I am not here to argue about whether aim assist is good or bad, or what the correct numbers are. Rather, I believe **this argument itself is completely pointless.** First of all, mice and controllers have fundamental structural and physical differences, such as the presence of a neutral stick position and input delay. Current aim assist exists to bridge those structural gaps. It does not exist with any malicious intent. However, it is impossible to have a "completely fair and healthy environment" when completely different types of devices are mixed together in the same lobbies. Is the current situation—where players point hostility at each other because of device differences—really necessary for a "fair and healthy environment"? Even though it comes with high costs and risks regarding player population, I believe the only realistic and permanent solution in the long run is to **separate matchmaking by input device.** Of course, it will take time to make that happen. Until then, shouldn't we respect the shared rules? Can't we put our own opinions aside and leave things to the developers for now? I know some players have mixed feelings about aim assist, but we must remember that thanks to that assist, even PAD—a device inherently unsuited for FPS games—was able to join and enjoy the game. Regardless of our stance on aim assist, can't we respect the game and the features the developers created, and stop these endless arguments? I hope we can move on to constructive discussions for a better gaming environment.20Views0likes0CommentsAbout bot royale
I'm not good at English, but I write this. In one word, I think current bot royale is "wasteful mode". It's because we cannot select match setting such as "weak bot or strong bot". Bots strength change in every season. However, I lament to apply it in all match rather than give us liberty to change setting myself. So that I forced to kill by bot who have insane aim like aimbot. I agree to that connect to thrilled game experience, but I'm unlike. In addition, I especially complain for forcing to fill teammate. Even if I sometimes challenge to my limit of kill in single, teammate always interrupt it. In conclusion, I'm very helpful if you implement bot royale's match setting that set bot strength and fill teammate or not fill. Also, I think bot royale wasteful will disappear.higashi_lb2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer28Views1like0CommentsAll Heirlooms should be upgradeable once obtained, regardless of any event times
The fact that heirlooms that come from collaborations are only obtainable through events that are more expensive than any prestige skin are already extremely expensive, but having their extra styles locked behind further customizations only available to that specified time is ridiculous. Unless they are providing you with the full amount of exotic shards to completely unlock all the styles in the event, they should not lock the ability to upgrade the extra styles behind the event time duration. That forces everyone to shell out even more than already provided right then and there or face never having a completed collaboration. Once you have obtained then item, there’s literally no reason to punish players that still want to upgrade them with shards obtained through battle passes. I’m calling for these heirlooms to remain in the mythic shop under a collaboration tab especially if they are branching out to weapons outside of melee. It still remains exclusive for players that purchased items during the collab without punishing players who already invested so much. The should add in BIG BOLD LETTERS, ONLY AVAILABLE IN EVENT DURATION. Apex has this problem with hiding information as cryptically as possible without just coming out and saying anything and it causes more problems than anything.innocantus2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer30Views2likes1Commentsmolfinder mythic should have been avail for shards for ppl that own skippy
