Bots for Human players
Dear DICE, at the end of this match, the enemy team had more human players than my team did. After the first 20 minutes of this match, my team as a collective had far-less kills than the enemy team and I'm starstrucked in believing any of my teammates were actually human players. There's absolutely no way. I can understand that Battlefield 2042 has a negative reputation since the release and has since undergone many stability patches and content updates. A large portion of its community, along with Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 1 have moved to Battlefield 6... But this isn't right. I am getting into matches, whether conquest, seasonal map matches, or breakthrough where the enemy team has ALL THE HUMAN PLAYERS and then my team is 100% botting. There's no way someone can be this bad. I'm a new Battlefield player. I have no background in shooters. And I never played a Call of Duty game in my life. And I'm pulling more weight than anyone on my team in my entire match history except for those one in a million guys that get 125 kills per match as a solo player. Much worse is that NO ONE uses the in-game chat. Not for anything. AND NO ONE USES THE VOICE CHAT to communicate. There's NO evidence of human life forms on this game. Except for the enemy team ALWAYS BEING LOADED with human players. Every. Single. Time.Breakthrough Balance
I find it completely unfair for a different purpose as everyone spawn traps. I agree there needs to be major changes to this particular game mode as there's very little balance in terms of overall fairness. Every match I've played has gone to the defenders, just because no one can break through the pressure of an entire team camping outside of the spawn. I think the spawn zone needs to be larger, and the spawn traps game play needs to get nerfed heavily. It should be an objective game mode, not a sweat fest just to get out of spawnPlease add native support for MOZA AB9 FFB flight sticks (HID/DirectInput)
The game recognizes XInput gamepads but does not detect the MOZA AB9 FFB flight sticks in the aircraft bindings screen. In Windows the device works normally (joy.cpl) and in other sims (MSFS, DCS, X-Plane), so this appears to be a game-side HID/DirectInput mapping gap rather than a driver issue. I have tried launching with only the MOZA device connected, testing with Steam Input on and off, verifying axes/buttons in Windows Game Controllers and other sims, and mapping the sticks as an Xbox controller; additionally, the in-game “unbind” control is not working for me, causing duplicate binds, and it would help to allow unbinding via a normal keyboard key instead of the current three-line icon. Request: please add native HID/DirectInput support for the MOZA AB9 FFB (and similar HOSAS/HOTAS devices) so it appears in the bindings screen and can be mapped per axis and button, and please fix or provide an alternative for the unbind action in the bindings UI. I can provide logs, device details (VID/PID), and short reproducible videos on request.
Singleplayer for Hazard Zone (Deathmatch, too)
I've been in queue for Hazard Zone for over an hour and I still haven't found 1 singular match yet. I am certain that this mode needs to have singleplayer support, because it's truly a dead gamemode... Alternatively, let the match start counter go all the way down from 8, to 4/2/1. The achievements for Hazard Zone now are effectively impossible otherwise, so if possible, for the skeleton crew still on this game (somehow), please add in single-player starting for Hazard Zone. oh yeah, while Deathmatch still has much better matchmaking odds, that too will eventually deplete through time, making progression harder for those still stuck in 2042. Singleplayer for that too, would be nice.
Iwo Jima Breakthrough 24/7 was really amazing
Hello, I wonder if there's a chance Iwo Jima Breakthrough 24/7 will return. It was so much fun to play that the other maps are now uninteresting. I played Iwo Jima Breakthrough almost every day, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in BF2042. Funny timing: my birthday was October 6, and right after that the Iwo Jima rotation and related events ended. Anyway thanks to the devs for that memorable content. I hope the map or a 24/7 rotation like that could come back more often.BF2042 in game XP reduced by upto 50% post BF6 launch. Disgusting.
I have noticed just now that, post BF6 launch, the in game XP of BF2042 for kills, ribbons, objectives, etc has been reduced by upto 50%, to force slow progression, and to make players buy BF6. Shameful. Old / Regular values (without bonus XP weekends, etc): Kills : 50 XP Combat ribbon : 500 XP Sector Defended : 10 XP Holding objective : 10 / 15 XP Securing objective : at teast 10 XP. New values(Post BF6 launch): Kills : 25 XP Combat ribbon : 400 XP Sector Defended : 5 XP Holding objective : 8 XP Securing objective : 8 XP. Some times you are not receiving XP for kills and objectives at all. I have been a BF player since BF3. I remember, EA used to release DLCs for BF3 with stronger/overpowered guns, so that the people with no DLCs used to have weaker options at their disposal, to force them to buy DLCs and now this in case of BF2042, where, the in game XP is reduced by upto 50%. What makes EA think, that they can tamper with the already bought product of people, and make the existing product almost worthless, to make player buy BF6? If this is how EA values its customers, then I am DONE with EA. I was waiting for BF6 reviews before buying it, but now I wont. I will no longer buy any EA product now, because of such insult. I am done. I am attaching screenshots as proof.Could you for the love of god stop removing modes
Please, EA, I know we’re a small 2042 community, but could you stop making the modes worse? I’m not moving to BF6 anytime soon .Why? Because I'm broke and actually like 2042. So please, stop messing with the modes and leave them alone. I don’t care, I can wait a minute or two to find a game. Bring back close quarters conquest ,that's was 200 hours of my 300 hours in the game. Thank you! PS: Please do us a favor and bring back all the special weekends you’ve done before. No need to create new ones, just rotate them on weekends and double the 2XP.

Look you guys got a lot of flak but wow you did fix and improve the game and whilst not a true heir to the series, it did have enough DNA to be a part in it. The BF pass was done but I also left with learning the drive and the flight . . . Maybe I'll visit but not anytime soon, gonna get busy.
I'm not on here like I used to be but, ? 2042 128 servers?
😟What gives? I join only two options, Conquest, or single player, etc, under the "Conquest" choice to the left hand bottom of the screen. Why is it in mixed mode ATM? 64 maybe one or two maps 128 then 64 again? I'm hoping this isn't permanent. 😬

As we come to an end of this release I thought I'd drop a few lines about the experience... Mostly it sucked: Terrible rollout, terrible middle expansion, terrible GFX optimisation. I felt only the last 6 months you really got the act together with regards to a smooth game. Most of the maps were big, and that is about all I can say about them. The only map I actually liked was Redacted (whoever thought that one up should get a pat on the head) as it carried a dab of the old BF Metro\ Locker spirit. Way too many ludicrous weapons and gadgets. Cheaters still cheat, so nothing new there, but I think you tried. I hope BF6 is way better at spotting them. BF2042 is almost gone, long live BF6
Refund
I recently tried to purchase Battlefield points to unlock the battlepass for Battlefield 6. When I tried with Paypal and my credit card it said "ERROR TRANSACTION CANCELED" and the points did not appear in my account. I tried a third time and ALL THREE purchase attempts went through. I did NOT want to spent $120+ on 2042. I just wanted to unlock the battle pass. Can I please get a refund on the other 2 purchases? I tried submitting this through contact us and the submit button does nothing.

Recently uploaded some of the last few videos of Battlefield 2042 to YouTube so I can delete them from storage. Got to have that storage space for the upcoming Battlefield 6 videos! 😁 Anyway, I'm truly going to miss not having the RAM in Battlefield 6. It was fun to play, but a challenge to keep it from easily being destroyed. But with 17,026 total RAM kills, it performed very well on the Battlefield! Goodbye, my love!
