How to check on a ticket
I created a ticket last week: 838c8028-ad70-47f1-a944-e85a4e5251ab I don't know how to follow up on this ticket. I'm unable to play my game, Sims 3. It tells me there is "A serious error has occurred while loading [saved game name].sims3. It is strongly recommended that you restart the application." I have tried restarting the app, restarting my computer, and uninstalling/reinstalling the game. And nothing is working. If it isn't going to work, I would like a refund. But no one is talking to me telling me they're working on it. Thanks
Feedback on Forum Functionality (When it is Non-Functioning)
Catching up with responses as a 13+ years on the forums vet, should not lock me out of replying after 6 replies within an hour (my notifications easily can be over a dozen when I sign in the morning). I would think at this stage verified users should not be locked out for high activity (especially when that is their usual activity). I even am locked out of posting this post, I am waiting for it to allow me to Publish... I also noticed more issues this year compared to past years, that html gets flagged (won't post with html errors despite past/previous posts/edits allowing it), even if implemented with the in forum editor's html/markup (and not a copy paste issue), error or updating tables/lists/posts, it just locks out future edits to the table/list/post. I also see that others have been posting about this issue, so I didn't make a stand alone post about it (just thought I'd include it in this one), but I want to mention that notices/errors are so frequent it really makes the forums not very user friendly. Especially, to those who can have high daily activity.
If I Restart My Story, creating a New Thread, is that Spamming?
Attn Community Adminisator: EA_David, or Whoever it Concerns, I have had some serious setbacks with my latest Cantrell Reset. Due to some startling relationships, wherein the husband and wife were no longer married, but considered cousins, I have since started a new game, three times now, and, no, I'm not insane. At any rate, this last go-around seems to be okay. The parents are spouses to each other, and who cares who the Baby-Daddy is? This is Louise's problem. 😉 At any rate, as I've played, things have transpired that put the existing updates out-of-order. There is no way, seemingly, to change the order of the updates, keeping their comments intact. It would be confusing to say the least. Question: Would it be considered spamming, were I to start a brand new thread for this current iteration of my Sim family and their escapades? EA Forum bug report format shows inaccurate dates in Profile view
Discrepancy of EA Forum dates on Bug Report format On 31 March 2026 - Clicking on my account > Profile shows a list of my comments. I date my bug reports to help me track them. Here's an example of the incorrect date on EA format. Pic 1 Profile view shows incorrectly '6 days ago' at the bottom. Should be 16 days. Pic 2 Clicking on the comment to open the thread. Same comment dated correctly below my account as '16 days ago'. No tag for EA Forum. Also noticed the new green 'Approved' marking. Approved by whom? players? forum mods? What is being approved?
Unable to install Dead Space 3
What purpose does the forum or any "support" entity of EA even serve? In the information age, you cant get prompt responses on game-specific forums here, and of all the threads I have read in this area, the community managers basically say "there is nothing we can do." Why even run the things if you are either hamstrung into being unable to do anything, or are fundamentally unwilling to provide any help? First of all, thanks for launching the new EA Forums platform. I appreciate the effort to modernize the design and improve the overall experience. After spending some time using the forum, I wanted to share a bit of feedback and also ask a few questions regarding forum functionality. What I like so far: - Clean and modern UI - Faster loading compared to the old forums - Clear separation between game categories and community hubs Areas where I’m a bit confused or struggling: - Notifications sometimes feel delayed or unclear (not always sure what triggered them) - It’s a bit hard to track threads I’ve previously commented on - Search results don’t always surface the most relevant discussions - Navigating back to a specific category takes more clicks than expected Questions: 1. Are there plans to improve notification filtering or customization? 2. Will there be better tools to follow or bookmark discussions more easily? 3. Is the search functionality still being optimized? 4. Are user profile features (post history, activity tracking) planned to be expanded? Overall, the forum has a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves. I’d also love to hear feedback from other users — what’s working well for you, and what could be improved? Staying logged in
I'm on PC, using Chrome, every time I come to the forums I have to sign in, as soon as I close the tab I am logged out, I may come back times a day or night, why can I not simply stay logged in ? The only way for me to actually stay logged in so i don't have to keep signing in is the leave a tab open all day & night.
System needs an Update
So, you can’t actually tell if you’ve been banned or just temporarily suspended from the forum. They send the email to your inbox - which you can’t see because you’re banned. I beg, let there be a way to monitor your status or inbox. It’s no use seeing it after the fact. I’m worried even this much might have it happen again.
