Game crashed during load up tile. No error popup
I cant for the life of me get this game to boot anymore....I tried reinstalling, updating Anti-Cheat, deleted app data files.. When launching the game (steam) the tile screen will load and after "starting javelin Anticheat completes, the window closes, reopens for a second and then it crashes with no error report.. Now that EA WRC has more or less been abandoned, at least the horrible EA Anticheat should be removed. Since EA Anticheat was introduced, I haven't been able to play the game, EA didn't care, and I didn't get my money back either. I haven't been able to start WRC for over two months now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, WRC, the "anti-cheat" files as recommended with no success. I would get the error message that says, Yesterday, after about twp weeks of not trying, I tried again and get this error: I am definitely signed into my EA account on the EA App and launch it from there, and this error box gives me no options to "activate" the game??? I have done a deep dive both on here and chat gpt. I bought the game on steam and the game is not recognized on the ea or racenet which maybe causing the problem. Crossplay is turned on and I've even tried disabling my firewall to see if that was causing the problem. The steps I've taken so far is Crossplay enabled Firewall is disabled Logged in EA sports app Logged into racent Open wrc through steam, then when I open clubs only one club is available and the QR code is telling me to log into racenet. The only other solution I can find is redeeming a proof of purchase code from steam, (which they are not providing or I can't find) or to pay an annual fee to join some ea membership Please help17Views0likes0CommentsRacenet does not show multiplayer stats
At Racenet I don't have stats reflected For EA WRC game multiplayer. I have everything turned on in relevant settings in game including ghost and stats sharing. It states, "Gain stats by playing Multiplayer." But I'm playing multiplayer - I'm doing clubs events and my participation is logged there and results appear on Racenet in club's standings. People have been asking for years now for us to be able to turn off the countdown lights that come up in the centre of the screen. Why haven't you addressed this yet???? Some people like to run as realistic as possible. PC shuts off randomly during stage
Hello, I've been playing the game for a while and there is a persistent bug that the game will completely shut off my PC randomly. Sometimes after a few stages, sometimes almost immediately, sometimes on the same spot on a given stage. I have tried some work-arounds but no results. I'm desperate since I really enjoy this game but this one issue absolutely makes it unplayable. It would be nice if I can have some assistance, my specs are well above the recommended and I can run the game on max graphics. I have been trying for 2 weeks to access clubs and multiplayer on series x. It comes up asking to login on racenet website or scan qr code. Which makes no difference, doesnt work either way, Cant access multiplayer, as comes up an issue also. I have hard reset my series x, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, nothing, i have checked xbox servers all green, your servers show fine, but nothing works. When will it be sorted? So I've been struggling trying to get OpenXR motion compensation (OpenXR MC) working with EA WRC. I am using an eRacing Labs motion system, Pimax Crystal and Simhub. With OpenXR MC installed EA WRC exits right after displaying the second splash screen. If I remove OpenXR MC from the PC then EA WRC will start... re-install OpenXR MC and EA WRC is back to not starting. Found a single post on steam that mentioned if you set "overlay_enabled = 0" in the ini file that OpenXR installs (in the directory \Users\*Your_Username*\AppData\Local\OpenXR-MotionCompensation\) then EA WRC will start. Tried that and, sure enough, EA WRC starts and I can use the keyboard shortcuts defined in the OpenXR MC ini file to configure and use motion compensation with EA WRC. Yay! And once you run it once you then have an EA WRC specific ini file in that folder to which I added the: overlay_enabled = 0 and restored overlay_enabled = 1 in the main ini file (for all the other VR games that aren't broken like EA WRC is). I tried to submit a case/bug report to EA around this in hopes it gets fixed (so one can leverage the OpenXR toolkit menu/overlay) before EA totally abandons this title but EA makes it hard (actually impossible from what I can see) to submit a bug report so I'm ranting about this here in the hope that EA sees this and maybe fixes it in a patch (wishful thinking). At least this may help other VR users with motion who are struggling with this as I was.130Views0likes0CommentsUnplayable - Crashes at the end of every stage
I am currently doing a rally in the Sweden stage in career mode. At the end of every stage, the game crashes to desktop. When I go back into the career mode it returns me to the start of the stage. And then it repeats over and over again. I can't progress the career mode, I'm just trapped with a game that I've purchased all the expansions for, and support does not exist.51Views0likes0Comments
