Rally School Lessons #2, #3 and #4
#2 Snow: 5 second reset penalty right at the start. #3 Snow: 5 second reset penalty in the breaking box which causes you to fail the lesson if you trigger it. #4 Snow: Regularity Rally, 20 second reset penalty in "the twisty bit" for no infringement which can give you too many points and fail the lesson. After releasing EA SPORTS WRC in 2023, the 2024 season, including the recently released Hard Chargers Content pack, will be our last expansion. For now, we are pausing development plans on future rally titles. Rest assured, EA SPORTS WRC will continue to be available for existing and new players. Hello EA Sports WRC Team, I would like to report a visual inaccuracy regarding the Renault Megane Kit Car in EA SPORTS WRC. In the current game version, the rear lights are not modeled correctly. On the real Renault Megane Kit Car, the rear lights consist of distinct circular tail lamps, but in the game these appear incorrectly positioned and shaped, resembling standard brake lights rather than the correct circular design. This issue affects visual authenticity and historical accuracy of the vehicle, especially for players familiar with the real car or classic rally models. Platform: (PC / PS5 / Xbox – complete as applicable) Game version: Latest available update Mode tested: (e.g. Time Trial, Rally, Replay) I kindly ask the development team to review this and consider correcting the rear light model in a future update. Basic Lesson 2 "Snow" the game glitches as soon as I start the Hard Right off the start and gives me a 5 second reset penalty. Basic Lesson 4 "Snow" gives me a 20 second reset Penalty at the "Twisty" section. Even though I have no penalties or left the track. I hope these glitches are not an indication of how this game is going to play out. Please add triple monitor support via this free Unreal Engine plugin https://github.com/fracturedbyte/UE4-MultiViewRendering This is the same plugin that Assetto Corsa Competizione uses for triple monitor support as can be seen by the attached photo. No need to create this functionality from scratch and proven to work in a shipped Unreal Engine 4 game. This plugin should be able to be added to WRC with minimal tweaks. Here is how ACC handles triple monitor support in game. First enable triple screen in video options. No preset for RS V2 CRP preset should be named CRP/CRP2 internally the same device SGP shifter has it's functions reversed (gear up on push instead of pull) No preset for CRP2 (but it's going to be identical to SRP and CRP, they are now sending out the pre-orders) HGP Handbrake only has one mode defined for both operations (direct and wheelbase). It's presets have to define both axis mode and button mode Pedals have different deadzones in direct and wheelbase presets. I normalized the values. They were lowered as well as Moza users prefer setting deadzones in software I linked the CS V2P and RSv2 dials to the appropriate icons. Sadly, there's no icon for `dial_2_press` Please, please remove the protected status from the navigation binding for all devices besides the keyboard. Some people might still feel uncomfortable with these new presets and would want to rebind some things. Everybody has their own preferences for select/back location. These functions are the most important and should be as comfortable as possible No preset for SRP-Lite pedals. Sadly, I can't help with this one at the moment. Please allow users to select "None" as a sub_device. If someone only has a wheelbase, they might be confused by the fact, they have to select random rims etc, to complete the setup. Selecting "None" would be way more understandable in such cases ES rim preset is actually for the ESX (xbox version). Today, out of nowhere, the game won’t launch. Without any error message, it crashes right at the opening intro. Yesterday everything worked without any issues. According to available information, many players are experiencing this problem. The Windows Event Viewer shows the following error: EAAntiCheatService The game wrc.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005 It looks like some kind of issue with the anti-cheat. Please fix it. There exists a serious bug causing the game to fail login: When starting the game, it prompts for expired anti-cheat software. However, after downloading the latest anti-cheat software, the game automatically updates to an older version of the anti-cheat software, resulting in inability to log in due to outdated anti-cheat software version. GeForce Now support
GeForce Now supports WRC games from 4 to 10 and Generations and Asseto Corsa Rally. I use a Logitech G29 wheel and it works very good (no visible delay). I can set detail level to ultra in any game and play in 2K, so it's a very big plus compared to playing on my Radeon 780M card and EA WRC 24. I play on Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop and the screen is as big as I want which is very nice for rally games. It would be nice to have EA WRC 24 access in GeForce Now to play the same way on ultra settings.28Views0likes0Comments
