Visual glitches on 9070 XT on gravel
The black flickering is still a problem. AMD customer support notices that if it is a problem that only occurs on one game, they demand the developer to fix it. You blocked my workaround with DXVK with your anti-cheat as reported in EA Javelin Anti Cheat crashes with DXVK | EA Forums - 13582778 so there is now nothing I can do. :( Please fix both the crash and the visual glitch.4Views0likes0CommentsEA Javelin Anti Cheat crashes with DXVK
Adding DirectX DLLs d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll into WRC\Binaries\Win64 no longer works. In fact, it violently crashes the computer. What the dump shows: BugCheckCode: 0x50 → PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Param1 (address referenced): 0xffffd1858a242000 Param2 (access type): 0x0 (read) Param3 (faulting instruction): 0xfffff8017bdddafd And the dump itself flags the culprit directly: *** eaanticheat.sys - Address FFFFF8017BDDDAFD base at FFFFF8017A580000, DateStamp 6a42e478 I sadly can't attach the crash dump or the crash event log from the blue screen event because the file format is not allowed here. Already reported this to mailto:[edit: email address removed] because you are accessing memory you are not supposed to. They said they judge it as not a security problem, so I post it here publicly. Please fix it. :(3Views0likes0CommentsEA SPORTS WRC will not launch - Javelin Anticheat Error 87
EA SPORTS WRC will not launch - Javelin Anticheat Error 87 / Invalid game directory Game: EA SPORTS WRC (PC, EA App) Computer name: VENGEANCE OS: Windows 11 Summary: WRC fails to launch every time. Event Viewer (Application log) logs an EA Javelin Anticheat error (Event ID 1000) each attempt: "The game wrc.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1." Most recently, the EA App itself also returned a generic error: "Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." Troubleshooting already completed (no change in behavior): - Repaired the game via EA App (My Collection > WRC > Repair) - Ran EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe from both C:\Program Files\EA\AC\ and the game's own bundled installer folder - both give "Invalid game directory" when selecting Repair, even when pointing to the correct install path (C:\Program Files\EA Games\EA SPORTS WRC) - Manually starting the EAAntiCheatService in services.msc fails with "Error 87: The parameter is incorrect" - Deleted and recreated the EAAntiCheatService via sc delete / sc create, pointing to EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe - no change - Ran sc query EAAntiCheatService to confirm the service exists (STOPPED, WIN32_EXIT_CODE 0) - Ran sfc /scannow - no integrity violations found - Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth - completed, no change - Ran fsutil resource setautoreset true C: and rebooted - no change - Confirmed DNS resolves gateway.ea.com correctly (tested via 8.8.8.8 after finding ISP DNS was timing out; switched system DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 - no change to the anticheat error) - Verified no third-party antivirus is installed (Windows Defender only) - Temporarily disabled Core Isolation / Memory Integrity - no change - Checked Reliability Monitor - no critical events logged for the crash - Checked %localappdata%\WRC\Saved\Logs\WRC.log - file is empty - Ruled out a WRC_Trial.exe file in the Win64 folder as a cause (temporarily removed it, error persisted) - Confirmed install folder structure and installerdata.xml manifest are present and intact Given that Windows-level checks (SFC, DISM, service registration) all come back clean and the anticheat installer consistently rejects the correct install directory as invalid, I believe this may require backend access to my account/entitlement or install-token data to diagnose further. Could you please investigate on your end? Thank you for your help.14Views0likes0CommentsCANNOT LOG IN to RACENET after the "FIX"
My game was crashed by EA WRC update and then fixed. However, after this wonderful experience, I cannot link to Racenet and get in to Clubs sections (also Time trials etc), however, the game is linked to my profile. Please help me to fix it. I already tried all of the "suggestions" and help but nothing works. Reinstalled the game, ea play etc. Tried to log out in every device and web, and then tried - nothing. Like nothing is happening! What to do? How can I continue to use the game and link to racenet? Please feel free to contact me DM if needed. Hello, I am reporting a crash issue with EA SPORTS WRC on PC through the EA App. The game was working perfectly before. I played for around 3 hours without any issues, but suddenly it started crashing after launching the game. The game starts normally, loads into the main menu, and I can navigate for around 60 seconds. After that, it closes silently to desktop without any crash report or error message. Windows Event Viewer shows: Faulting application: EADesktop.exe Faulting application: EAGEP.exe Faulting module: ntdll.dll Exception code: 0xc0000005 (Access violation) System: Platform: EA App (PC) OS: Windows 11 GPU: NVIDIA EA App version: 13.743.0.6256 Troubleshooting already performed: Repaired game files through EA App Completely reinstalled EA App Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat Cleared EA App cache Clean installed NVIDIA graphics drivers Ran DISM and SFC system repairs Tested RAM with MemTest86 (no errors found) Created a new Windows administrator account Tested with Exploit Protection changes The issue remains unchanged. I have also found other recent reports from users experiencing similar behaviour: the game works normally, then suddenly starts crashing shortly after entering the main menu. Could this be related to EA App, EA Anti-Cheat, or a recent compatibility issue? Thank you.1.1KViews16likes58CommentsI can't play it via steam link anymore
I have EA WRC on Steam. I used to play it with Meta Quest 3 VR using virtual desktop and it was ok. But, when I try to conect it via steam link, using my new headset Samsung Galaxy XR, when the game launches on VR, my right screen starts to just flash some blue lights and a message is shown on the PC monitor: "the vr headset is currently unavailable". When I try to use it with virtual desktop, it plays using VDXR runtime. I looked on reddit and I found another guy with this issue. I reinstalled the game, reinstalled steamvr and steam link, checked for corrupted files but nothing has worked. I could play it via steam link when I got my new headset. I spent a week without playing and, when I tried to play, I could not due to what I've just described. Looking foward to a help. Thank you!!23Views0likes0CommentsMoza SGP shifter connection problem - XBOX SERIES X
Hello, I’d like to ask for help with a problem I’m having on Xbox with the EA WRC game. Specifically, I’m using the Moza R9 v3 base unit and the Moza ESX steering wheel. Everything works perfectly with these, even though they aren’t on the list of supported devices; the same goes for the Moza HBP brake, which also works brilliantly. However, there is a problem with the MOZA SGP RS059 sequential gearbox. I have confirmed that the gearbox works. However, there is some sort of communication issue between the game, the base unit, the steering wheel and the gearbox. When I simply launch the game and try to play, the gearbox never engages. You can see that it’s switched on – all the LEDs are lit – and it works normally in another game (Dirt Rally 2.0), but in EA WRC, it doesn’t respond. There’s a strange workaround involving switching between PC and Xbox modes and back again, then unplugging the USB cable from the console for a few seconds, which theoretically fixes the problem, but I’ve only managed to get the gearbox working twice (on those occasions I also remapped the buttons to control the gearbox, etc. – everything worked until I restarted the console) . This confirms that the hardware is fine, and the problem itself is related to communication. Please look into this and resolve the issue. From what I’ve seen on Reddit, this is a common problem and many people are giving up on EA WRC in favour of Dirt Rally 2.0 for this reason, even though I personally prefer EA WRC.66Views0likes4CommentsTerrible textures
Hello, EA. I bought EA WRC yesterday and have a problem. My laptop is about a minimum system requirements for the game. I watched a gameplay video on YouTube played on a laptop exactly like mine and was sure I’d get nice graphics with a comfortable FPS, but it’s not quite what I expected. On low settings with DLSS, I get 70–80 FPS, but the textures look terrible. The very low, low and medium texture settings all look equally terrible, and the VRAM usage is less than 3 GB. If I set the textures to high, the VRAM usage goes up to 3.5 GB, and the textures look good. Even on the Ultra preset, where are definitely issues with insufficient VRAM, the textures look great. So the problem with low textures definitely isn’t due to insufficient VRAM! I’d be happy to set textures to medium in order to bump other settings to medium, my GPU’s power allows for that with DLSS enabled, but then I get a not-enough video memory issue and a ton of freezes and stutters. Here are the settings and what the game looks like. Here are the same settings, except high textures. Here's the Ultra preset for comparison.98Views0likes1CommentEA WRC crashes computer after starting Javelin Anti-Cheat

Microsoft claims this problem also occurs from anti-virus software. https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/bug-check-0x50--page-fault-in-nonpaged-area This behavior started around 27.05.2026 and has not improved since. Just making it easier for those of you who weren't able to find a fix for this error after trying all the other solutions you saw online. What worked for me after finding a 2 year old post, go to your install folder SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\EA SPORTS WRC\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty and rename the OpenXR folder to OpenXRback.174Views0likes1CommentThe game wrc.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1
