Hello EA SPORTS WRC Team and Community, I would like to share some thoughts, feedback, and questions — some about WRC, and one about F1 Esports. Please read carefully. 1. Will There Be Any Esports in EA SPORTS WRC? I bought this game hoping to compete in an esports challenge because I feel much more confident in this game compared to the F1 series. However, nothing official was ever announced. Can someone confirm whether an esports tournament was ever planned or if it was canceled because of unresolved corner-cutting exploits and anti-cheat issues? It would be great to know whether there’s still hope or not. Please let us know if the idea was scrapped or is still in progress. 2. May I Submit a Bug Report in Video Format for Time Trial Mode? I found a bug in Time Trial which I explained long ago in a written forum post, but it seems it wasn’t understood. I believe it needs to be shown via a gameplay recording. Can I upload or link a video here in the forum to make sure the devs can finally understand what’s happening? Or would that be pointless now, since you announced that development is ending — though you didn’t mention exactly when it stops, so maybe there’s still time to fix a few things? 3. One F1 Esports Question (Sorry if Off-topic): I know this is the WRC forum, but my question is about the qualification process in the F1 Esports Series. The official qualification results only go up to F1 2023: https://f1esports.com/qualification/results/2023 And the latest video guide is from 2022: https://f1esports.com/qualification Yet new drivers appeared in F1 2024 and even F1 2025 seasons: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_One_Esports_Series How did these people qualify in F1 2023 and F1 2024 when there was no visible Esports mode in the game like before, where you had to complete a scenario and appear on the leaderboard? Was the process hidden or done internally? 4. Sad News About WRC Development Ending – Please Reconsider I was disappointed to hear that EA and Codemasters will no longer develop EA SPORTS WRC. Honestly, I think you are making a mistake. Here’s my guess why you stopped: I noticed that in some Time Trial Stages, there are only 6.000 to 15.000 leaderboard entries. Compare that to F1 games Time Trial Tracks, which often have 100.000 to 500.000 entries. So maybe the game didn’t sell well, and you didn’t make enough from DLCs either. But this game had huge potential. It is the most complete rally game I’ve ever seen—so many rally cars, stages, and surfaces. I still don’t have time to try them all. It’s sad that such quality is being dropped while other titles with much less effort continue yearly. That being said, let’s talk honestly about the pricing. The base game launched at 60 euros, even though it was broken at launch—frequent crashes, stuttering, and even an anti-cheat conflict that made it unplayable for 3 months. And on top of that, you added four separate DLCs, each costing 20 to 30 euros. Sorry to say this, but that’s greedy behavior. Asking 60 plus 100 euros for a game that didn’t even work properly at first? That’s unacceptable. You lost player trust because of this — not just because of bugs, but because you treated your audience like walking wallets. 5. Final Words – WRC vs F1 Game Quality WRC is a model for how a serious game should be developed. You kept one platform, added meaningful content, and built a long-term experience. Despite early issues, it evolved into a polished product. This is exactly the kind of long-term, player-focused development that earns trust. By contrast, the F1 series feels stuck in a yearly outdated money-printing cycle — rushed releases, recurring bugs, minimal innovation, and inflated pricing. Many fans accuse the devs of copy-pasting features, and I agree. There’s a clear lack of responsibility for quality, especially when players are asked to pay 60 euros for a product that sometimes doesn’t even function properly at launch. On top of that, just like in WRC, the F1 games also include multiple expensive DLCs, adding even more costs for players. This kind of pricing strategy feels greedy and exploitative, especially when the base experience is already unstable. I strongly believe the F1 series should follow the WRC model: - Stop releasing a new game every year - Keep one base platform and simply update it with new cars, driver lineups, and features - Don’t remake laser-scanned tracks annually — it makes no sense This is the approach that games like WRC and Counter-Strike 2 have taken. They evolve, improve, and actually listen to their communities. That’s why CS2 never releases annually — it doesn't need to. Its value grows over time instead of being reset every year, and that is why it succeeds. WRC was close to achieving that same standard. Please don’t throw away such a solid foundation. For the first few seasons I only managed to get to level 13 or 14 and missing some of the nice car designs. Hello, EA Sports WRC game won't start after connecting to the server. It takes me back to the EA App without an error message. I have Ryzen 7 5700U, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11. I reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, tested in Safe Mode, updated the drivers. On a new EA account the game starts — so the problem is definitely with my account. Sounds to me as development on any new games has been cancelled. Was my first Rally game and love it. But what is concerning as EA have announced more layoffs across its studios. I'm worried for the guys at codemasters. If F1 flops this year I'm more worried for Codemasters as a studio. Been playing Codemasters games for 30+ years and one of my all time favourite studios. Be gutted if EA closes them down. Hello EA & Codemasters team, First of all, thank you for your great work on EA Sports WRC – it's exciting to see a fresh take on the official rally experience. However, one feature that many of us deeply miss from previous WRC titles like WRC Generations is the Co-Driver multiplayer mode. This feature allowed two players to collaborate as driver and co-driver, creating a uniquely immersive rally experience that emphasized teamwork, communication, and precision. It added a whole new level of realism and was especially fun in online play with friends. My suggestion: Please consider bringing back the Co-Driver mode – and this time, take it a step further by integrating it into Career Mode. It would be amazing to progress through a full rally career with a friend as your co-driver, managing events, teams, and challenges together over time. This addition would: Encourage cooperative long-term gameplay Deepen immersion in the WRC world Appeal to both casual and simulation players Offer something no other racing game currently does I believe many players would love to see this functionality return and evolve. Petty issue but rather annoying. When calibrating your wheel and you are prompted to turn 90 degrees it gives you percentages instead of degrees. It makes it very hard to calibrate for an exact value like 540/720/1080 and you end up with 519 or 529 and the likes. How you do it is you click the start menu, type graphics, open the system options to System > Display > Graphics Now click "change default graphics settings". The first option within that sub-menu will be the one you are looking for. I know it says it improves performance and reduces latency but trust me it will fix the frame time pacing issue with this game. After disabling it Reboot your PC. nVidia users DLSS profile configuration Edit Download nVidia profile inspector. Make a profile for WRC 23, select the wrc.exe program. Within the option list, in section 3.1 presets use Preset J. The engine.ini tweak below will force DLAA not DLSS so quality will not be affected as the internal resolution is not lowered. Hi! Im new in this forum, but i would really like to see new Co-Pilot language packs update soon. I would like to see more options in there, like estonian language, because Estonian drivers have been in this sport for so many years and even have held the WRC event many times. Been trying to run multi event rally with Rally3 class. Just me by myself and AI. I choose my car and am able to play the first session fine. When I close the game and reload, it advises me that content is missing and I am unable to continue my save of the Rally3 class in Quickplay. I'm guessing this is due to the AI choosing a DLC car, which I do not own. Can this please be addressed so I can do a Rally3 rally over multiple sessions? Hi, just a suggestion here that'd be much, much appreciate by those of us with terrible memory. If you get a puncture the game defaults to zero spare tyres at the next service. It is very easy to forget to fit a spare tyre and have your rally ruined (like mine just was). This isn't something that ever really happens at IRL rallies... Like this game is simulating high level rally with service crews. They're gonna check that sort of thing and replace them as necessary. Even at club level events when it's been myself, my nav, and maybe one or two other people helping it's just something that's done every service (plus you're not going to forget a flat IRL like you do in the sim lol). It'd be really nice if the game defaulted to what the driver had selected previously (or, if left on default, it stays default), not to what is currently in the car. Getting a flat is not going to make you decide to carry no spare for the next stage, you're going to put a new one in. I know it's been said a zillion times, but while I'm here, it'd also be really nice to get individual tyre management. Like FWD cars wear the front tyres a lot more, it'd be nice to be able to rotate them on the roadside between stages. Or it'd be nice to be able to put wets on the rear & say softs on the front if you have a dry stage followed by a wet stage - then rotate them on the road section. Or if we could carry 2 spares and swap them on in place of worn tyres, that'd help a lot with the limited tyre allocation on long rallies.29Views1like1CommentA couple of thing I hope to see in the future

So many amazing creations Id love to download; ○ Real sponsors and brands for livery editor; ○ Text for livery editor; ○ Wind accurate flags, banners, electric lines, etc; ○ Moving mud flaps; ○ Safari rally snorkls and iron guards, lights, etc; ○ Helicopters, drones, and camera men during the stage; ○ More "lively crowds". Taking photos (flashes - in night stages would look awesome), cheering lively, covering themselves from rocks etc, avoiding your car when you come too close, umbrellas and jackets in the rain, etc; ○ Service areas with mechanica and engineers working around your car and viewing other teams. ○ Fixing the cars with mechanic atually fixing the damaged parts (doesnt need to appear complete before advancing imo); ○ Podiums with cars, crowds and drivers; ○ Other cars behind you at the start and possibly crashed on stage/slower; ○ If you puncture or crash with penaltu or too slow, possibiltey for other cars to catch up; ○ More eviormental destruction. Fences, trees breaking, hitting cars on the side of roads also damages them, weaker stone wall crumble, etc. ○ puddles and road side accumulation; ○ Dynamic weather; I know its alot but do you all agree? Hi everyone, I'd really like to play WRC with my fanatec DD, however whenever I try and play the game, I can't even get into the menu, it's like my wheel doesn't even exist. Works fine with the controller, then when I look at controls, it never picks up my wheel. With classic vehicles in particular, you can still steer at least half a turn further than the virtual counterpart. This is particularly annoying if you have spun around on the track and have to reset the car. Do you still repair the old content? In Monaco, for example, a carpet of grass still grows out of the asphalt, and Sweden still has no snow banks on the old tracks. There are no puddles when it rains, no matter where. Tire management zero. And you still can't switch off the annoying ghost cars globally. Why do you do that? All of this worked before. In DR 1/2 it was dark at night, and the headlights went out during a crash. Apart from the fact that they cast shadows. The current lighting model is simply at least two steps backwards and corresponds to the technology of 15 years ago. Hi all, Recently I have changed my old laptop with a new PC. Until then, I was able to run the game fine more or less, considering my laptop was really weak. But after I installed the game on the PC, I am not able to access Clubs or any other online based feature. The error that I get is "Unable to connect to EA Servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure Platform Client is online and try again. Error: 110". I did check my internet connection and all is good on this end. I did try several suggestions on the internet (like restarting the PC, reinstalling the game, etc.), but still nothing. Can you please help me with this? Currently I am participating in several online championships, but I am not able to compete until this is resolved. Thank you in advance. EDIT: After recent updates (2 weeks later than my initial post), when I launched the game, I was prompted to login to Racenet and since then, I am able to play the game.130Views1like0Comments
