Level capping at 40
I would like to express my frustration with the Level 40 cap in FC 27. If I have purchased the full game, I do not understand why my progression is being artificially capped at Level 40. Players who invest time into the game should be able to continue progressing and earning levels rather than being forced to stop at an arbitrary limit. This is especially frustrating for players who spend a significant amount of time playing Clubs and other progression-based modes. Once you reach Level 40, there is no longer the same sense of progression or reward for continuing to play. I understand that there may need to be progression limits for balancing purposes, but a hard cap at Level 40 feels unnecessary in a full-priced game. At the very least, EA should consider increasing the cap, adding additional prestige levels, or providing meaningful rewards for players who reach the maximum level. I hope EA Sports will reconsider this system and give players a reason to continue progressing after Level 40. Players should feel rewarded for the time they put into FC 27 rather than feeling like their progression has simply been stopped.9.2KViews19likes24CommentsDATA MISMATCH ERROR

Why have you removed the ability to customize the AI, there is only one face, one hair style, one etc, for each slot and i can only randomize them. Hi everyone, I’m having a very specific and persistent issue in EA SPORTS FC 27 Pro Clubs that started recently. When my Club finds a match and the match is about to start, the screen goes completely black and the EA loading icon at the bottom keeps spinning indefinitely. The important part is that this happens to everyone in my Club at the same time, not just me. The sequence is always basically: We search for a Pro Clubs match. The match is found. The game starts loading the match. Everyone gets a completely black screen. The EA loading icon at the bottom keeps spinning continuously. Nothing else happens and we remain stuck on this screen. However, if I press Alt+F4 and close the game, the match immediately starts for everyone else. So it seems like the match itself is actually being created and is ready to start, but my client gets stuck during the final loading/synchronization stage. When I close the game, the other players are immediately able to enter the match. Things I have already tried I have already tried the following without success: Restarting the game. Restarting the PC. Restarting Steam. Changing Steam status from Invisible to Online. Disabling overlays. Running the EA AntiCheat/Javelin process as administrator. Checking/repairing the game files. Using low graphics settings. Changing graphics/display settings. Reinstalling the entire game from scratch. My graphics settings are already set to Low, so this does not appear to be related to graphics quality. I also completely reinstalled the game, but the problem remained exactly the same. Important detail The fact that all Club members are stuck on the same loading screen, and that the match starts for everyone immediately after I close the game with Alt+F4, makes me think this is not simply a GPU, graphics settings, or corrupted installation issue. It seems to be related to the Pro Clubs match loading/synchronization process. This is extremely frustrating because we can find a match, but we cannot actually enter it normally. Has anyone else experienced this exact issue in FC 27 Pro Clubs? Is there a known fix or is this a known issue currently being investigated by EA? Any help would be appreciated. Dear EA SPORTS FC Team, I would like to share some feedback regarding Clubs in EA SPORTS FC 27. A feature many Clubs players would really like to see return is Skill Games for our Virtual Pros. In previous versions, having a dedicated place to practice with our Pro was extremely useful for testing shooting, dribbling, passing, free kicks, and getting comfortable with our build before playing competitive matches. Right now, the available Scenarios are helpful, but they do not fully replace Clubs Skill Games. One of the biggest issues is that the gameplay settings in Scenarios do not always match the settings we use in Clubs. In particular, we would really appreciate the option to practice with Precision Shooting enabled. Ideally, please bring back a dedicated Skill Games/Practice section inside Clubs where we can use our Virtual Pro. If bringing Skill Games back is not possible immediately, then at the very least, please allow Scenarios to match our personal gameplay/controller settings, including Precision Shooting and other relevant settings. Practice is much less useful when the controls or shooting mechanics are different from what we actually use in Clubs matches. A good solution would be: Bring back Skill Games/Training for Virtual Pros in Clubs. Allow us to practice using our actual Pro build and attributes. Support Precision Shooting. Make Scenarios automatically use the same controller/gameplay settings as Clubs. Ideally, provide an open practice arena where players can freely train shooting, passing, dribbling, set pieces, and other mechanics with their Pro. Clubs has a large competitive community, and having a proper training environment would make it much easier for players to improve without needing to test everything during actual matches. Thank you for taking the feedback into consideration. We hope to see a proper Virtual Pro practice mode return to Clubs in a future update. Best regards, An EA SPORTS FC Clubs PlayerXamPer1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer1KViews23likes5CommentsClubs Customisation Feedback
Hey EA Team, I wanted to share some constructive feedback on the customization options for EA SPORTS FC 27. While the gameplay seems to be a lot better, the customization in Clubs is really outdated and needs a proper refresh to keep things exciting. **1. Authentic Boots & Gear Updates** The selection of licensed football boots has felt pretty much identical for the last few years. To keep up with modern football culture, we really need a steady stream of brand-new, officially licensed boots and real-world colorways from the big brands, rather than generic or unrealistic designs. Crucially, these new drops shouldn't just be locked to Career Mode. They need to be available across all modes, including Clubs, at the exact same time so the whole community can enjoy them. **2. Modernizing Custom Kits in Clubs** The uniform editor in Clubs hasn't really changed since it was introduced. Since Clubs is all about creating your own team identity, it’s frustrating to be stuck with the same basic templates year after year. It would be amazing to see a refreshed kit creator with fresh design patterns, better control over individual kit elements, and more freedom to create something truly unique. Perhaps being able to upload your own club badge, or have the custom UT Kits in Clubs would also be cool. **3. Customizing Clubs AI Players** Another massive miss right now is not being able to customize the AI-controlled players in our clubs. Being forced to play with default-looking AI players completely breaks the immersion and usually clashes with the club's actual branding. Giving us the ability to tweak the appearance, boots, and gear of our AI teammates would make the entire squad feel cohesive and way more fun to play with. **Summary** Clubs needs more consistent updates and deeper customization. Refreshing the boot selection, updating the kit creator, and letting us edit our AI players would go a incredibly long way in making the game feel brand new instead of a repeat of last year. Thanks for listening!Genetics981 month agoRising Scout1KViews28likes11CommentsBoots & Clubs Customization Feedback
One of the biggest areas that needs attention in EA SPORTS FC 27 is the lack of new, authentic football boot options. For nearly four years, the selection of boots has remained largely unchanged. Players should not have to rely on the same options every year, especially when new real-world boots and colorways are constantly being released. We need to see more brand-new, officially licensed boots from major brands, rather than continuing to add generic or unrealistic options. Another important issue is availability. New boots and customization options should not be limited to Career Mode. They should be available across the game, including Clubs, just as they were in previous FIFA/FC titles. Clubs players deserve the same level of customization and access to current football products as other game modes. Clubs — Custom Uniforms & Customization The custom uniform system in Clubs is another area that desperately needs an update. The available uniform options have remained virtually unchanged since the feature was first introduced. Clubs is built around customization and allowing players to create their own identity, so it is frustrating that we still have such limited control over our kits and equipment. Players should be able to make meaningful changes to their uniforms, including adding new designs, updating existing options, and customizing individual elements of the kit. EA SPORTS FC 27 would be a great opportunity to completely refresh the Clubs customization system and give players more freedom to make their clubs feel unique. Overall, Clubs needs more consistent updates, more authentic football content, and significantly more customization options. New boots, current real-world equipment, updated kits, and deeper uniform customization would go a long way toward making the experience feel fresh instead of repeating the same content year after year.CoachLeak1 month agoSeasoned Rookie774Views23likes45CommentsClubs is still broken after 1.1 update
EA_Shepard EA_Darko I apologize for the length of this post, but I feel it's extremely important to fully elaborate on just how fundamentally broken Tournaments are at present. We're now several weeks into FC 27, and after participating in the UEFA Euro, UEFA Euro Elite, and Screamers tournaments, I can confidently say that this mode is riddled with serious bugs affecting almost every fundamental aspect of the experience. These aren't minor visual glitches or occasional inconveniences. We're talking about formations being randomly changed, human-controlled players being shuffled into incorrect positions, multiple goalkeepers spawning on the pitch, inaccessible team management, matchmaking preferences being ignored, tournament entries being consumed by technical failures, broken tournament brackets, statistics not tracking, AXP multipliers not functioning, and an entire playable position being unavailable. These issues directly compromise competitive integrity, player progression, and the overall experience. What makes this particularly frustrating is that many of these problems were already evident during earlier tournaments, yet subsequent events have continued with the same underlying defects. Here is a comprehensive breakdown of the issues our club has experienced. ISSUE 1 - FORMATIONS ARE RANDOMLY CHANGED AND HUMAN PLAYERS ARE ASSIGNED TO INCORRECT POSITIONS This is arguably one of the most disruptive bugs in the entire tournament mode. Our club enters tournament matches with our preferred formation and players assigned to their respective positions. However, when the match loads, the formation is unexpectedly altered, and our human-controlled players are rearranged into positions they never selected. We've attempted multiple troubleshooting methods, including resetting all five custom tactic slots to the default FC presets. None of these attempts has resolved the problem. Players can end up in completely incorrect positions, fundamentally compromising the team's tactical structure and ability to compete. This is especially damaging in tournament competitions, where every match matters and one loss can eliminate a club from the event. A competitive tournament should NEVER arbitrarily change a team's formation or player assignments. Worse still, the game provides no practical way to correct the problem once the match begins. ISSUE 2 - MULTIPLE GOALKEEPERS SPAWNING ON THE PITCH AND BREAKING THE DEFENSIVE LINE Another completely unacceptable tournament bug involves multiple goalkeepers appearing on the pitch simultaneously. Instead of fielding the standard eleven players in their designated positions, the game can spawn an additional goalkeeper, resulting in two goalkeepers being present while another outfield position is effectively lost. This completely disrupts the team's formation, defensive structure, and positional organization. Even more concerning, the additional goalkeeper can remain positioned outside the penalty area or in locations that interfere with the defensive line, creating serious problems with the offside system. Opposing attackers can effectively be kept onside because of the incorrectly positioned goalkeeper, leaving defenders at an enormous disadvantage. How is a competitive tournament supposed to function when the game cannot even consistently assign eleven players to their correct positions? This is not a minor graphical issue. It fundamentally alters how the match is played and can directly influence goals, results, and tournament eliminations. The problem is especially frustrating given that human-controlled goalkeeper selection is already disabled in tournaments. Despite preventing clubs from selecting a goalkeeper, the game can still generate multiple goalkeeper players and disrupt the entire team. EA needs to investigate why additional goalkeepers are spawning, why outfield positions are being displaced, and why these malformed lineups are allowed to enter competitive tournament matches in the first place. A match with an incorrectly generated lineup should never proceed as though everything is functioning normally. ISSUE 3 - TEAM MANAGEMENT IS VISIBLE BUT INACCESSIBLE TO THE CAPTAIN Although the Team Management option appears in the pause menu, the captain cannot actually access the controls necessary to make tactical adjustments. This means we cannot change formations, reorganize players, or correct the positional chaos created by the formation bug. Think about how ridiculous that is. The game randomly rearranges your players, and then denies the captain the ability to fix the problem. The consequences extend beyond the formation bug itself. If a player receives a red card, the captain should be able to reorganize the remaining players and adjust the formation accordingly. Instead, we're left improvising by asking another human-controlled player to manually occupy the vacated position while remaining assigned to an entirely different role. This is a fundamental part of football management that is simply unavailable. Why does a supposedly competitive tournament mode not allow its captain to manage the team? ISSUE 4 - TOURNAMENT ENTRIES ARE CONSUMED BY MATCHMAKING FAILURES AND DISCONNECTIONS This is particularly unacceptable because tournaments impose restrictions on the number of times clubs can participate. The entry allowances we've encountered include: UEFA Euro: 10 entries UEFA Euro Elite: 5 entries Screamers: 50 entries Far too frequently, matchmaking or connection failures result in players being kicked out before they can properly participate in a match. Despite the match never being successfully played, a tournament entry is deducted. How is that remotely fair? This was especially damaging during UEFA Euro Elite, where clubs were restricted to only five entries. Losing even one entry because the game's matchmaking infrastructure fails represents a substantial reduction in legitimate opportunities to compete. The Screamers tournament provides 50 entries, which makes the problem less damaging in practical terms, but does absolutely nothing to excuse the underlying bug. A club should NEVER lose a tournament entry because of a matchmaking failure, synchronization error, or disconnection that occurs before a legitimate match begins. EA needs to implement proper validation before consuming entries, along with a mechanism for restoring entries lost because of technical failures. Players should not be penalized for problems with the game's own infrastructure. ISSUE 5 - THE MATCH ANY SETTING IS IGNORED IN TOURNAMENT MATCHMAKING This is another major issue that directly undermines competitive integrity. When Match ANY is enabled, our club expects to be matched against another club using a human-controlled ANY. Instead, we're repeatedly matched against clubs that have no human-controlled ANY, leaving the CPU responsible for their remaining outfield players. This is not an occasional anomaly. We've encountered it repeatedly across multiple tournament competitions. What makes this particularly frustrating is that FC 26 finally appeared to resolve this longstanding issue in league matches. The preference worked as intended, and human-ANY teams were consistently matched against other human-ANY teams. Yet here we are in FC 27, dealing with the same problem again in tournaments. A club that deliberately chooses to use a human-controlled ANY should not have its matchmaking preference disregarded. Regardless of whether players prefer competing with or without an ANY, the entire purpose of offering this matchmaking setting is to allow clubs to select their preferred competitive environment. If the setting doesn't actually work, why is it there? ISSUE 6 - MATCH MY TEAM SIZE ALSO APPEARS TO BE IGNORED The Match My Team Size preference is similarly unreliable. We've repeatedly entered tournaments with only two, three, or four human-controlled players, only to be matched against opponents fielding seven, eight, or nine human players. These are substantial differences in human-player participation. The matchmaking system should be making a reasonable effort to match clubs with comparable numbers of players, particularly when the relevant preference is enabled. Instead, tournament matchmaking routinely produces wildly disproportionate team sizes. Taken together with the Match ANY issue, this raises a serious question: Are the matchmaking preferences in the tournament lobby functioning at all? Because based on our experience, they appear to be largely ineffective. Competitive matchmaking should prioritize reasonable balance rather than routinely placing significantly mismatched teams against one another. ISSUE 7 - TOURNAMENT MATCHES DO NOT PROPERLY CONTRIBUTE TO CLUB SQUAD STATISTICS This is another area of considerable frustration. Tournament appearances do not appear to register within the club's individual Squad Stats. For example, a player could have 150 recorded appearances before participating in tournaments, play dozens of additional tournament matches, and still display the same 150 appearances afterward. Why are legitimate competitive tournament appearances excluded from our statistical records? These are matches played for our club, against other clubs, in officially supported competitive competitions. They should contribute to our overall club records and individual statistical histories, or EA should clearly explain why they do not. This is made even worse by the fact that the Squad Stats screen itself remains broken. Games Played is effectively the only statistic that displays, while other individual performance statistics continue to remain unpopulated. We've been reporting problems with Squad Stats for far too long. Clubs players deserve accurate, comprehensive career and club statistics that reflect the matches they actually play. ISSUE 8 - AXP MULTIPLIERS DO NOT FUNCTION IN TOURNAMENT MATCHES Another extremely frustrating issue involves Archetype XP boosts. Players can acquire and equip AXP multipliers, such as 2.5x and 3.5x boosts, to accelerate their archetype progression. Yet in our tournament experience, these multipliers simply do not apply as expected. Why? Players invest time and in-game currency into obtaining these consumables specifically to improve progression efficiency. If tournaments are intended to be a meaningful part of the Clubs experience, why should participating in them prevent players from receiving the benefits of their equipped boosts? If this is an intentional design restriction, EA needs to explain that clearly. If it is a bug, it needs to be corrected. We should not be forced to choose between participating in a competitive tournament and making effective use of our progression consumables. ISSUE 9 - HUMAN-CONTROLLED GOALKEEPERS ARE UNAVAILABLE IN TOURNAMENT MODE Goalkeeper selection remains disabled or locked within tournaments. This is an entire position being excluded from a football game mode that is supposed to support organized club competition. The restriction was already present when these tournaments became available. Whether this is connected to other goalkeeper-related defects or represents a separate technical limitation, the practical result is the same: clubs cannot compete using their preferred human-controlled goalkeeper. Goalkeeper is a fundamental position in Clubs. Some clubs have dedicated goalkeeper players who have invested substantial time developing their archetypes and refining their skills. Why should those players be prevented from participating in official tournament competitions in their preferred position? And why has this limitation remained unresolved? ISSUE 10 - TOURNAMENT BRACKETS AND ROUND PROGRESSION TRACKING ARE INCONSISTENT AND OFTEN INCORRECT Another major issue involves the tournament bracket and progression-tracking system, which frequently displays conflicting information about where our club actually stands in the competition. In a four-match tournament structure, the progression should be straightforward: Match 1 of 4: Round of 16 Match 2 of 4: Quarterfinal Match 3 of 4: Semifinal Match 4 of 4: Final However, the tournament interface regularly displays contradictory information between the post-match tournament bracket and the pre-match lobby. For example, the lobby might indicate that we're entering Match 3 of 4, which corresponds to the semifinal. Yet the tournament bracket displayed after the previous match can present an entirely different picture, suggesting we're at another stage of the competition. In other instances, the bracket shown after completing what we believed was our 3rd match indicates that we've won the final, even though other information presented to squad members may not align with that progression. Inevitably, the pre-match lobby shows we're on match 4/4 and not that we've won the tournament. To make matters worse, different members of the same club can see different tournament bracket information following the exact same match. How is that even possible? We're all participating in the same tournament, representing the same club, and progressing through the same sequence of matches. Yet the interface cannot consistently communicate which round we're playing or where we stand in the competition. Based on our experience, the match counter displayed in the tournament lobby is generally the more reliable indication of the actual round being played. However, the tournament bracket itself frequently appears out of sync. This creates unnecessary confusion, particularly in a competitive knockout environment where players need to know whether they're entering the quarterfinal, semifinal, or championship match. The tournament bracket is supposed to be the definitive visual representation of progression through the competition. Instead, players are left comparing contradictory screens and trying to determine which information is accurate. EA needs to investigate why tournament progression information is inconsistent between the bracket and lobby, why different squad members receive conflicting displays, and whether these are visual synchronization problems or symptoms of a deeper issue with tournament state tracking. Every player representing the same club should see the same bracket, the same completed rounds, and the same upcoming match. This is basic functionality that should work reliably in any tournament mode. THE BIGGER PROBLEM: THE ENTIRE COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE IS COMPROMISED Individually, each of these problems deserves attention. Collectively, they paint a much more concerning picture. Consider what players are being asked to tolerate: Your formation can change without your consent. Your human-controlled players can be placed into incorrect positions. You randomly spawn a second goalkeeper, losing an outfield player while also completely breaking your defensive line. Your captain cannot access the tactical controls necessary to correct those problems. You cannot properly reorganize your team following a red card. Your Match ANY preference is ignored. Your Match My Team Size preference is seemingly ignored. Your limited tournament entries can disappear because of matchmaking failures. Your tournament appearances aren't reflected properly in Squad Stats. Your equipped AXP multipliers don't provide their expected benefits. Human-controlled goalkeepers cannot participate. Your tournament bracket can show different progression information to different members of the same club. You cannot consistently rely on the tournament interface to tell you which stage of the competition you're actually playing. How is any of this acceptable in a game mode built around competitive football? Players are expected to organize their clubs, coordinate schedules, develop their archetypes, acquire consumables, manage limited tournament entries, and compete against other organized teams. Yet the actual systems supporting those competitions are failing on multiple levels. Even more concerning is that these aren't entirely new problems appearing in a single event. We've experienced many of these issues across UEFA Euro, UEFA Euro Elite, and now Screamers. Instead of delivering new tournament events on top of an unstable foundation, shouldn't EA be prioritizing the underlying functionality that makes these competitions playable in the first place? WHAT WE NEED FROM EA I'd genuinely appreciate a direct response from the development team addressing the following: QUESTION 1 - Has EA reproduced the formation bug that randomly changes formations and rearranges human-controlled players in tournament matches? Is a fix being developed? QUESTION 2 - Why is the second goalkeeper glitch happening? Has EA identified the cause, and is a fix being prioritized? QUESTION 3 - Why is Team Management inaccessible to captains in tournament matches? When will captains regain the ability to change formations and reorganize their players? QUESTION 4 - Why are tournament entries deducted following matchmaking failures or disconnections before a legitimate match begins? Will affected clubs have their entries restored or receive compensation? QUESTION 5 - Are Match ANY and Match My Team Size actually enforced in tournament matchmaking? If not, why are these preferences available in the tournament lobby? QUESTION 6 - Are tournament appearances and individual performance statistics intended to contribute to Squad Stats? If so, why aren't they tracking correctly? QUESTION 7 - Are AXP multipliers intentionally disabled during tournament matches, or is their failure to activate an acknowledged bug? QUESTION 8 - Why are human-controlled goalkeepers unavailable in tournaments, and is there a timeline for restoring goalkeeper participation? QUESTION 9 - Why does the tournament bracket display inconsistent progression information between squad members and contradict the match counter shown in the lobby? Is this a visual synchronization issue or a deeper tournament-state tracking problem? QUESTION 10 - Has EA investigated whether tournament progression and reward calculations are being affected by the same synchronization issues? QUESTION 11 - Most importantly, is there a coordinated effort underway to address these problems collectively rather than treating them as unrelated, low-priority reports? FINAL THOUGHTS Clubs has tremendous potential, and organized tournaments should be one of its strongest features. Instead, we're dealing with a competitive environment in which basic football functionality, tactical controls, matchmaking preferences, participation limits, progression systems, and even tournament brackets cannot be consistently relied upon. It's difficult to take these competitions seriously when the game itself can rearrange your players, generate an additional goalkeeper, prevent you from correcting the formation, disregard your matchmaking preferences, and consume limited tournament entries because of technical failures. These are not unreasonable expectations. We're asking for formations to remain intact, captains to have access to team management, matchmaking preferences to function, tournament entries to be protected from technical failures, player progression to be tracked accurately, and tournament brackets to display consistent information. These are fundamental requirements of a functional competitive tournament mode. EA needs to conduct a comprehensive technical review of Clubs tournaments, acknowledge the issues players are experiencing, establish clear priorities for resolving them, and communicate those plans directly to the community. We don't need more tournament events layered onto broken systems. We need the existing systems fixed. Until these problems are addressed, Tournament Mode and MORE IMPORTANTLY, CLUBS AS A WHOLE will continue to fall far short of the competitive experience it is supposed to deliver.700Views15likes26CommentsEA SPORTS FC™ 27 | The Grounds Developer Launch Update
It’s been great to see players jump into The Grounds, meet other players, and spend time across the different in-world activities. So far, we’re seeing plenty of activity around small-sided football, including 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and In-World Rush. The early data is also highlighting some clear areas where we can improve. One of the biggest is Kickabouts. While small-sided football has been incredibly popular, that popularity has also made it harder for players to find enough people to start matches in some of the other activities around The Grounds. Table of Contents What We’re Hearing From You Other Quality-of-Life & Live Issues What We’re Hearing From You We’ve been monitoring your feedback closely, and there are a few topics that have come through particularly strongly. Winner Stays and Win Streaks We’ve seen a lot of requests for a way for winners to stay on a pitch and build a streak. We’re already seeing players and streamers track their own streaks and create some fun competition around them, and we think there’s an opportunity to better support that directly in The Grounds. We’ve already begun exploring potential designs for this experience. We’ll share more details as our investigations lead to more concrete plans for updates to the game. Kickabout Matchmaking and Queueing When players get a Kickabout going, we’re hearing that the experience can be a lot of fun. The challenge right now is getting enough players together to start one. We know this can make some activities much harder to jump into than we want them to be, and there isn’t one single change that solves the problem. We’re looking at a few different approaches, including ways for players to signal that they need more people at a particular gameplay site, ways to connect players across servers while keeping them in the world experience, and scheduled Kickabout-focused events that could bring more players into these activities at the same time. Long-term Fatigue in Clubs 11v11 We heard the feedback that infinite stamina could disproportionately benefit Clubs with more players compared to smaller Clubs. Based on this feedback, we’ve reintroduced long-term fatigue in Clubs in Title Update v1.0.1, and will be watching closely over the coming days to understand how the change feels in practice. Menu Performance Many of you have told us that menus within The Grounds can sometimes feel slow to load or unresponsive. We’re actively tracking this and continuing to look into where we can improve the experience. Other Quality-of-Life & Live Issues We’re continuing to address issues as they are identified, investigated, and ready to release. Some current examples include: 5-star skill moves not working in small-sided matches: A fix has been deployed. High ping in some cross-region Clubs matches: A fix has been deployed. Incorrect Archetype Point costs for certain upgrades: We are investigating. 1v1 goalkeepers behaving erratically: We are investigating. Teleport access to Stadium and Clubhouse portals: We are testing a potential fix. 11v11 drop-in position preferred position not being applied correctly: We are testing a potential fix. Unable to open the world map while queued: We are testing a potential fix. Map input opening the Season Pass: We are testing a potential fix. This is only the beginning for The Grounds. We’re continuing to watch the data, listen to your feedback, and make improvements as more players spend time in the mode. Keep telling us what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to see next. – The FC Clubs & The Grounds Development TeamEA_Vendcera1 month agoCommunity Manager519Views1like16CommentsKey attribute glitch
Key attribute stats cost more than the same stat without the key attribute. Ex. Acceleration to 95 on magician is almost 300 attribute points while it’s almost 200 on other archetypes without the key attribute on acceleration. So upgrading key attribute is worse then putting any points into it all.KayitareJr161 month agoSeasoned Novice498Views10likes15Comments”Failed to Get Ready for Match” While Teammates Join Successfully

I simply can’t fathom how you created such a steaming pile of crap. All I want is a menu so I can play soccer with my friends. You turned a simple menu into a big, complicated, cringey mess filled with crappy dialogue and a “world” that feels no deeper than the menu. It’s just harder now. And now I wear street clothes? What?? I used to pick an option and just do it. Now I have to flipping walk there? Who are these people with me? This is just so poor I can’t believe you sunk so much time into it. I’m getting really frustrated with the state of Clubs in EA SPORTS FC 27. Around 80% of the time when I try to play a Clubs match with my friends, I get a connection failure and get kicked all the way back to the main menu. This happens constantly and makes it extremely difficult to simply play the mode with friends. On top of that, tournaments have another major bug. We regularly end up with TWO goalkeepers on the pitch. The second goalkeeper is actually registered as an outfield player, but just stands completely still in front of our goal and does absolutely nothing. This also means the opposing team effectively cannot be caught offside, because this extra “goalkeeper” is actually an outfield player standing near our goal line. These are not small or cosmetic bugs — they directly affect whether Clubs is even playable. Are you actually going to fix Clubs for the players who enjoy this mode, or is the focus going to remain almost entirely on Ultimate Team while other modes are left with game-breaking issues? Please give Clubs some attention and fix these problems.Y0ungB_901 month agoSeasoned Newcomer401Views10likes15CommentsFC27 clubs friendly matches high ping

Our club is based in Türkiye, and when we play Friendly Matches against teams from other countries, all 11 players on our team experience around 200 ms ping at the same time. This happens even though: Our players are located in different places, including Türkiye and Germany. The player living in Germany also gets around 200 ms. All 11 players experience the high latency simultaneously. Our normal internet connections are stable. This problem specifically occurs in Clubs Friendly Matches. We do not have this level of latency in our normal Clubs matches. We have already tried: Restarting the game and consoles Restarting our internet connections Changing the Club/lobby leader Playing with different combinations of players Disabling Approximate Location Matchmaking Checking our individual internet connections None of these steps solved the problem. Because all 11 players experience approximately 200 ms at the same time, this appears to be related to the EA game data center or matchmaking/server routing, rather than an individual player's internet connection. We are located in Türkiye, where EA has an Istanbul game data center, and we would like to know why our Clubs Friendly Matches are being routed to a server/data center that causes approximately 200 ms latency for the entire team. Could you please investigate: Which EA game data center our Clubs Friendly Matches are being assigned to? Why all 11 players are being connected with approximately 200 ms latency? Whether there is currently a routing or matchmaking issue affecting Clubs Friendly Matches between Türkiye and other European countries? Whether this is a known issue in FC 27? We can provide screenshots, connection test results, match dates/times, and any other information required. Please do not provide generic troubleshooting steps, as we have already tested our individual connections. We specifically need the server/data-center and matchmaking routing for Clubs Friendly Matches to be investigated. Thank you.Solved301Views2likes18CommentsCLUBS - Where do we even start?
FC 27 CLUBS / THE GROUNDS – WHERE DO WE EVEN START? With v1.0.4 confirmed to contain no gameplay tuning changes, I thought it would be useful to put together a quick recap of the major issues currently affecting Clubs. There are some genuinely good ideas in FC 27, but right now the mode feels buried underneath technical problems, removed features and gameplay that makes playing organized 11v11 football unnecessarily frustrating. TECHNICAL / LOBBY / SERVER ISSUES Matchmaking instability – Squads regularly begin a search, start loading into a match, but the opponent/player counter never appears. Eventually a data-sync/error message appears and everyone is kicked back out. Reforming the lobby and searching again often works. Players being kicked from matches – Players who join an existing squad between matches can take their positions normally, load into the next game, and then immediately get kicked while the original players remain. Join Live is unreliable – Failed Join Live attempts can result in players not entering at all, and we've even had the substitution interface remain stuck over the actual match or even a second phantom game playing even though squad mates remain in the original game, running around aimlessly. Lobby freezes / locked states – Positions, including ANY, can become locked after matches. Sometimes the only solution is for everyone to completely leave and rebuild the lobby. General lobby instability – Freezes, failed searches, disconnects and other lobby behaviour make simply getting consecutive matches started unnecessarily difficult. Server instability / ping spikes – Connections that are normally stable can suddenly spike during matches. FC 27 has felt noticeably less consistent online than previous versions, even on wired fibre connections. Server selection / matchmaking problems – Some server regions can provide considerably better latency but effectively fail to find matches, forcing players onto higher-latency servers just to play. Squad Stats are broken – Individual club statistics are not displaying correctly. Games played may appear while the rest of the statistical information is missing. Leaderboards are also not functioning correctly. We still can't compare our respective club stats to that of our friends'! Third kits still cannot reliably be selected before matches despite appearing correctly elsewhere in the club. EA Connect opponent visibility is still gone – In FC 25 we could use EA Connect after connecting to a lobby to see the opponents/player count. That disappeared in FC 26 and is still missing in FC 27. Why? CUSTOMIZATION HAS GONE BACKWARDS This is one of the strangest regressions. AI player customization has been massively reduced. Hairstyles and other appearance options for AI teammates are restricted/locked instead of allowing us to properly create our squad. Face and appearance customization is nowhere near what Clubs previously offered. Boot availability is extremely limited compared with the assets that already exist elsewhere in the game. Other customization assets available in other FC modes are simply unavailable in Clubs. For years, Clubs players have created recurring AI teammates, former club members, inside jokes and entire identities around their clubs. Why are we LOSING customization options in a newer game? A Clubs team should feel like YOUR club. PROGRESSION / GROUNDS COINS The Grounds economy also feels dramatically slower. Playing matches and actually grinding the mode should be a meaningful way of progressing. Right now, the Grounds Coin return from simply playing feels significantly worse than FC 26. You can play for hours and accumulate very little purchasing power relative to the cost of progression/customization items. Grinding the game should be rewarded. GAMEPLAY – THIS IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM Technical bugs can eventually be patched. The bigger concern is that the actual football in Clubs currently feels fundamentally broken in several areas. PASSING Simple football has become unnecessarily difficult. In FC 26, if you: created an open passing lane • faced your intended receiver • applied appropriate power • made the correct footballing decision …the pass would generally reach that player. FC 27 frequently ignores that logic. Straightforward passes are underhit, redirected, played toward pressure or selected for the wrong player. Instead of rewarding vision and buildup, the game repeatedly creates turnovers from passes that should be routine. THROUGH BALLS Through balls have the same problem. A teammate can make the correct run into completely open space and the passer can have the correct body position, angle and power, yet the ball frequently: goes behind the runner • gets underhit • travels toward the defender • selects an unintended path/receiver Good runs should be rewarded. Right now they often aren't. SEVERE INPUT DELAY This might be the single biggest issue. FC 27 Clubs feels considerably less responsive than FC 26. You notice it everywhere: left-stick movement • L1 dribbling • first-time passes • turning under pressure • shooting • skill inputs • clearing the ball • player switching • tackling • reacting to rebounds Football is a game of milliseconds. When every action feels slightly behind your controller input, the entire mode becomes frustrating regardless of the underlying mechanics. DEFENDING / PRESSING / PHYSICALITY Making defending more manual was a GOOD idea. But the current balance makes very little sense. The problem is that attacking players barely need to actually defend. Small, pace-focused forwards can sprint directly into defenders, repeatedly tackle/pressure them and recover almost instantly when they lose a challenge. Meanwhile, as a CB: You win the ball but don't have enough time to turn. • You can't reliably shield the attacker. • You can't calmly pass backwards. • You can't move sideways and recycle possession. • You sometimes can't even clear the ball before the same attacker recovers and challenges again. There is virtually no opportunity to SLOW THE GAME DOWN. Every possession becomes constant pressure. SHIELDING / BODY POSITIONING Physical positioning needs serious attention. A large CB should be able to place his body between the ball and a 5'7" pace attacker and protect possession for long enough to make the next footballing decision. Instead, attackers can frequently wrap around the defender, challenge from behind or appear to bypass the physical advantage entirely. Shielding works in certain situations, but it is nowhere near consistent enough. If I've won possession, positioned my body correctly and have the attacker behind me, that should mean something. TACKLE → INSTANT RECOVERY → TACKLE AGAIN This is another major problem. You successfully dispossess an attacker. He stumbles or loses the ball. Before your defender can even complete his recovery animation, turn or pass, the attacker has recovered and is tackling you again. That completely undermines successful defending. Winning a challenge needs to provide some meaningful possession advantage. AI TEAMMATES And then there are the AI bots. Year after year this remains one of Clubs' biggest weaknesses. Decision-making, positioning, reactions, movement and general football intelligence can still be incredibly poor. Human players should determine the outcome of Clubs matches. We shouldn't constantly be fighting against our own AI teammates simply to make basic football work. THE CORE PROBLEM All of these gameplay issues feed into one another: Input delay + inconsistent passing + broken shielding + relentless pressure + instant attacker recovery + questionable AI = no ability to control the tempo of a football match. That's the problem. There is no breathing room. There is very little ability to receive the ball, assess the field, protect possession, turn away from pressure and construct the next phase. Everything becomes frantic. Clubs should reward coordinated teams that create space, move the ball intelligently, defend properly and understand positioning. Right now it often feels like the game is actively fighting against that style of football. The Grounds has a lot of potential. But before adding more events, cosmetics, consumables and progression systems, PLEASE get the fundamentals of Clubs working properly: Stable matchmaking. Stable servers. Functional lobbies. Working statistics. Proper customization. Fair progression. Responsive controls. Reliable passing. Functional shielding. Balanced defending. Competent AI. What have I missed? I know our club can't possibly be experiencing all of this alone.
