How can I share my suggestions for Madden NFL 25?
Hey, Madden Community! Welcome to the Game Suggestions board! You're probably here because you have a great suggestion for Madden NFL 25 or for a future Madden title. This is the perfect place to share your thoughts on how to improve the Madden franchise. Some rules and guidelines for this board: Be constructive! A post that only says "you should put X in the game because it will make it better" isn't very helpful. How would it be better? What needs to be improved? If your post tells us why the current design has issues and includes reasons why your idea would be an improvement, that gives us much more to go on. Challenging play calls
I really wish on one of these games when you challenge a play, it gives you a list of options so you can actually challenge what you want, instead of the computer just deciding, cause I had a play where the QB was rolling out of the pocket and stepped out of bounds, but he then threw it and completed it like 30 yards or so down the field in the 4th qtr and I tried to challenge, and instead of challenging the QB being down for stepping out of bounds, it challenged the catch, so then I lost a timeout in the 4th qtr for the computer decideing to challenge the catch instead of what I actually wanted to challenge. And then there's so many times that a player is down earlier and play doesn't stop then you challenge the play and they review the spot of the ball on from where they blew the play dead. Granted this idea would probably be too complicated to actually do, but it's nice wishful thinking.

By the time I am writing this, either the game is out or just getting to come out, so lets start like this Madden 25 sucks. I am complaining about how a reskin of the same game for the last ten years is treated like its a new game every year. All the new things are mostly touch ups, or new animations but nothing real brand new. A few of the other new things are more comebacks cause they once worked and now they are rebranded as new features. Team builder welcome back the Madden after a few years of vacation, hope it was worth it but like anything time off leads to extra packages to deal with. Will team builder finally have a the team called by their name instead of home or away team. Will their name be heard at the draft instead of Jake went to nothing team. New one handed catches, yes but really that was the big thing instead of fixing the still stuck animations bugging the game for the last ten years and more. Oh the RB can run like the real players, fakes spins and jukes off the chart and still see animations issues and the system bugging out to cover the issues. Oh one point made now was now the OL will open up tight lanes to let swifty runners through yet each time its big open holes instead and easy still to be tackled. All the talk about Boom Tech...just lies. I am complaining about how they call it fancy names but its the hit stick and still going to be broken cause the offensive is too over powerful now. Yes timing a tackle is key but several the videos show that the tackles still are broken and basing on when you hit the stick helps it shows that the player can still break many tackles. New stick but same problems. Oh lets talk about how bad the defense was before, now it will be sad if one can play real defense. Some many offense plays in the trailers show how much its going to be a big scoring game, how easy its makes even a simple play could go to the house. I know, talking too much and too fast. basically the game is copied what college did and put some whistles in to fancy it up more. Its old madden trick from ten years ago. Its sad. I talk about the modes but there really is no reason for it. UT will be the focus as it has been for years. All the bells and whistle for them not for anything else. I know they do some work to franchise mode, but most of it was comisc changes like finally doing something with the draft. In truth the complaints really about how the mode was one the reason for the game,. and now its taking years to make some simple updates, while calling it a step forward. Most of the stuff they took out that made the game worth it. Things like classic teams, the full history of the NFL and the hall of fame players. No create plays and playbooks not in the game for long time. Even playing the mode feels like its just there not like classic college with madden when it felt like you were part of the game. Finally, I love Football, Loved Madden and the ability to play the game. But this 25 is not like the 25 from ten years ago. Its not better in all the wrong places. I am complaining this game should be better, should have more for a game in the next gen system but lacks really value. I hope they lose the deal and the NFL goes back to open season, it will push EA to do whats good for business not their pockets.
Suggestions to make Madden more innovative and playable
1. Revamp Franchise Mode (Make It Feel Like an NFL Universe) Dynamic Storylines: Incorporate evolving narratives like player rivalries, locker room conflicts, or off-the-field events that impact gameplay (think NBA 2K’s MyLeague depth). Improved Draft & Scouting System: Add more realistic scouting reports, hidden traits, and in-depth prospect interviews that influence draft decisions. Coaching Carousel: Allow hiring/firing of coordinators, with schemes and philosophies affecting player development and gameplay. --- 2. Smarter AI & Adaptive Gameplay AI Adjustments: Defenses should adapt to repeated plays. If you spam slant routes, the AI should adjust coverage or blitz schemes to counter. Realistic Player Behavior: Implement situational awareness where players react to clock management, field positioning, and game scenarios more like real athletes. --- 3. Overhaul the Physics Engine True-to-Life Tackling: Move beyond canned animations. Use a physics-based system where size, momentum, and angles impact tackles and hits dynamically. Ball Physics: Make the ball react naturally to deflections, bounces, and weather conditions. --- 4. Immersive Presentation (Make It Feel Like an NFL Broadcast) Dynamic Broadcasts: Add real-time stat overlays, halftime shows, and weekly highlight reels from around the league (like NFL RedZone features). Better Commentary: Use AI-driven commentary that evolves based on season progression, player milestones, and rivalries. --- 5. Career Mode with RPG Elements Deeper Player Career (Face of the Franchise): Make decisions off the field matter—endorsements, media interactions, relationships with teammates, etc. Position Flexibility: Allow for position changes mid-career based on performance or coaching decisions. --- 6. Authentic Crowd & Atmosphere Home Field Advantage Mechanics: Stadiums like Arrowhead or Lambeau should create noise levels that disrupt audibles or cause false starts for opposing teams (similar to NCAA Football’s "Toughest Places to Play"). Dynamic Weather: Weather should impact gameplay beyond visuals—wind affecting kicks, rain causing more fumbles, snow slowing players down. --- 7. Customization & Mod Support Team Creation & Relocation Options: Expand relocation with more cities, custom uniforms, and stadium designs. Cross-Platform Play: Unite the player base with cross-play for online modes. Mod Support for PC: Allow the community to create custom rosters, updated uniforms, and even gameplay tweaks. --- 8. Fair Monetization (Ultimate Team Fixes) Skill-Based Rewards: Shift focus from pay-to-win models in Ultimate Team to more skill-based progression. Offline MUT Challenges: Allow more solo players to enjoy MUT without being forced into online matchups. --- 9. Better Practice & Training Modes Advanced Practice Mode: Incorporate drills that mimic real NFL training camps, like QB throwing drills, WR route running, and defensive coverages. Film Study: Let players break down plays, review tendencies, and adjust strategies like NFL coaches. --- 10. Regular Community Feedback Integration Public Development Roadmap: Be transparent about what’s being worked on and what’s coming in future updates (like Fortnite or Warframe models). Beta Testing with Real Feedback: Involve the community in beta tests and actually implement suggested changes. -Server Maintenance
Server maintenance for Madden NFL 25 is scheduled for 6:00 AM ET tomorrow, Thursday, February 6th. This maintenance will be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Franchise Save File Team Name blanked out
Currently I have Madden 25 for My PC and have been playing it for a while without too much issue as far as glitching is concerned. However I recently started a franchise as the Jaguars but when I go to load the franchise the screen that shows my different save files (at the moment its just the one because i got bored of my others and decided to delete them) it will show my save file from the jags and when I last was on but where its supposed to show the team name is just blank. Now I dont know if its a glitch exactly or something else but whatever the situation is its been happening to me since like madden 22 or 23 without fail every year just at different times. There was once it happened because i got disconnected from the EA servers but got fixed as soon as I reconnected but when I check I am currently connected to the servers so it isn't that. I have also attached a picture as my explanation admittedly may not be the best. Do i need to clear my game memory or something? If anyone knows what is going on or how to fix it if thats even possible help would be appreciated. Otherwise I guess I will probably have to limit how many franchises I have going at one time so i can remember which is which without seeing the team names on the save file.
Madden ranked rewards
Everybody got ripped off or robbed out of our ranked rewards and because some idiots believe they got what they were supposed to they will not be giving us what we were supposed to get and for the idiots saying you needed to be in the actual top 100 check my video proof to debunk your ideology (getting my top 100 reward without “still being in top100”) then getting robbed by ea
Missing Voice Chat Option Madden 25
I am entirely missing the voice chat option in settings for Madden 25. I had the exact same issue for Madden 24, the option for voice chat simply isn’t there at the bottom of my accessibility and volume control settings where it should be. I checked my EA account settings to make sure I don’t have any parental controls set up. I have tried everything and looked everywhere and the option simply isn’t there. I refunded the game thru the Xbox store and won’t buy it or play it again until I know how to fix this issue. I’m not going to spend another entire season having to listen to opponents talk smack and not being able to respond. That’s ridiculous in today’s gaming world to not have that ability and also be forced to listen to your opponent (I can’t turn it on OR off…). This is a game ruining issue for me. Does anybody else know how to fix this? EA?????????????

- Import Draft Classes from CFB 26 (PLEASE!) - Co Op across all modes - Export Active Team to use in Franchise mode & Play Now - Play TeamBuilder offline - Offline Superstar mode - Create a Stadium - Historic Teams featuring Hall of famers like Tom Brady - Replay classic games like Super Bowl XLII and XXXVI final drives. - Situation Mode - Revamped weather, snowy like the Tuck Rule game Features in bold are ones I most want to see. Next year is make or break for me, and if I don't see more depth I'm not buying the game. Neither should you! Please and Thank You!
