How do I get help with a technical issue in Madden NFL 25?
Hello, Madden NFL Community! Welcome to the Technical Issues board! We want to get you back on the field as quickly as possible. Understanding the info we need from you can help us execute our game plan. You play the offense. We'll play the defense and help tackle the problem you're facing. Before anything else, we want to make sure you're looking for help in the right place. Sometimes it can be tough to tell the difference between a technical issue or a bug. Read on for some tips on how to spot the difference. Technical issues are problems that can often be solved with some troubleshooting. Check below for some common examples. Examples of Technical Issues Connectivity (disconnections, lag, unable to access account) Account issues, change email/password/security question etc. Account action/banned Trouble installing the game Bugs are problems you can't fix by yourself or with the help of our support team. We'll usually need to replicate the issue ourselves, then we can start working on a fix. Sometimes a patch or update to the game will be needed to apply the fix. It would be best to report issues like this over at the Bug Reports board. Check out the examples below. Examples of Bug Reports Audio Problems Crashing/Freezing while playing a certain game mode Exploit Gameplay For some additional tips on how to spot a bug, check out the post linked below. This post will also give you a good starting point for the info we might need from you to help us look into your report. Technical Issue vs. Game Bug - Where to Post? Before you post, be sure to use the search bar to see if anyone has already posted about the issue you're seeing. Searching for key words might help you find a thread where your question may have already been answered. If you're ready to make your post, we have a few things we ask you to keep in mind: Be as detailed as possible! Include the platform you're playing on. Let us know how long the issue has been happening. Give us a heads up on any troubleshooting steps you've already tried yourself. Share as many specific details on the issue as possible. This can include: Any error codes you're getting Where exactly the issue happens in-game The name of the specific Challenge, Set, Player, etc. that's giving you trouble If you need some tips on troubleshooting some common technical issues, here are a few steps we recommend taking first: Experiencing lag, disconnections, or trouble connecting to the servers? Connection Troubleshooting Advanced Connection Troubleshooting Having an issue on PC? Make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Madden NFL 25. If you're running any third party programs or overlays in the background, try disabling them before launching the game. You can also Clean Boot to narrow down if something specific is conflicting with Madden NFL 25 or the EA app. For more info on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. PC graphics troubleshooting Are the steps above not helping? Please be sure to include a DxDiag in your post. Having an issue on an Xbox console? A good place to start with Xbox troubleshooting is power cycling your console. This can help with many of the most common issues we see. This process doesn't erase any of your games or data. How to power cycle your Xbox console: Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Important: Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply. Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox. Having an issue on a PlayStation console? Power cycling is usually the best place to start with PlayStation troubleshooting. This can tackle most of the common issues you might run into. How to power cycle your PlayStation console Touch the power button on the front of the PS4/PS5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice). Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game. Tip: If you're using an external hard drive for your console, whether or not it's for Madden NFL 25, make sure all of the game updates are saved to the same storage drive. If the files are located on different drives it could cause errors or performance issues. If you have the game saved to an external storage drive, reinstalling it on the internal drive might help with crashes or errors. I play on Xbox the newest generation and solo battles have not opened since yesterday morning for me. I have 2 accounts and neither will work. What is the fix for this and when will it be complete. It's not my responsibility to jump through hurdles due to your inadequate service and capabilities so please fix this issue and give rewards for your inability to perform for this troubled community. I have tried reinstall, generating a new line up shutting down and nothing worked. This is clearly a you issue. Hi! i´ve been getting the "servers cannot process your request" message for 2 days now and i can´t play the solo battles on MUT25. Creating a new lineup etc. didn´t do anything for me. Has anyone else had this problem? Whenever I am playing head-to-head game modes such as seasons and championed and I win the game several times I have one and it has not recorded it to my overall record. This has happened probably going on for several months now. Also when I go to substitute a player in my lineup at the lineup screen it will give me a message saying server error and not allow me to substitute the player. This is happened to me and cost me several player and coin packs multiple times and when I was able to speak to EA I was basically told there was nothing they could do to post a problem on here and hope for the best. They have no problem charging full price for the game and charging for extra content yet I can't even get the content that I earned through winning games. Every time i try to select solo battles from the main menu in MUT, my game hangs on a blank screen for 5 seconds or so with a loading icon in the corner. Then it boots me out of MUT back to the main menu and i get a popup message saying “Our servers cannot process your request please try again later” (only read up to the can’t process your request wording may be slightly different for the end of the message the popup force closes before i can get a clear look at the whole thing) I’ve tried restarting the game as well as restarting game and console, to no avail. this is on an Xbox One X and my network connection is working perfectly, NAT is open and no dropped packets on my endSolvedjcarosella103 days agoSeasoned Newcomer120Views3likes4CommentsTechnical Issue vs. Game Bug – Where to post?

If it is a technical issue, please post it on the Madden NFL Technical boards. 🛠️ Technical Issues These are problems that affect how Madden runs on your system. They are usually related to your console, PC, or network setup. Some examples: The game won’t launch or crash on the startup Error codes or server connection issues Freezing or stuttering during gameplay Black screen or performance drops Audio/video not working properly Installation or update problems These can often be fixed through troubleshooting steps like restarting your console, clearing the cache, reinstalling the game, checking for system updates, etc 🐞 Game Bugs These happen inside the game itself—something that’s not working the way it’s supposed to, even when your system is running fine. Some examples: Challenges not tracking correctly In-game stats or progression not saving Players or animations glitching during a match Incorrect behavior with plays, formations, lineup, or abilities Missing rewards or broken menu functions These usually need to be reported and patched by the dev team in a future update. ✅ Quick Tip: If the issue seems related to your device or internet, it’s probably a technical issue.
