NH 24: Big list of bugs found (in World of CHEL)
Hello developers, here is my huge list of bugs found while playing World of CHEL (the only mode I really play). Info: I really love the gameplay, but these bugs are keeping the fun at a very low level. We tried each bug on 3 different PS5 systems - we could all reproduce those bugs, so its not a single problem: - Birth year of a player resets every time, you leave World of CHEL (not that it effects anything, but if there is a chance of entering the correct year, it should stay and not switch to 1901 again…) - Why do we have to create different players for HOME / AWAY / ALTERNATE? So I have to create a player for each of these sub-modes? New head, new haircut, new helmet, new jersey, new number, and and and…that means in fact: if you DONT do that for HOME / AWAY / ALTERNATE AND (!) the pro-player, the pro-goalie, the casual-player and the cascual-goalie it shows up a wrong number every time or switches your name back to „Jordan NHL“. Long story short: you have to create 12 (!!!!!!!!) players with ALL adjustments, just to play regularly in club with correct number, helmet, stick and so on? 🤭 Took me about 3 hours to do… - If there are two or more teammates at the same time in the club and one changes the team strategies, the game crashes for BOTH of them simultaneously! - its not possible to switch the jerseys when you found a club match, without breaking the lobby and showing the correct jerseys (sometimes they show our jersey at their side; sometimes all jerseys are just black) - you really do have to create a new logo for your team for HOME / AWAY / ALTERNATE? Why can’t you have three for all? Now i have to create NINE Logos??? - very often the rotating of a player in creating a jersey mode is not working, so you don’t see how the numbers look - after restarting a game, the jersey numbers in a an online club game have reset and are shown in ANY different color (sometimes white, sometimes blue, and so on) - the posts of the goal are YELLOW from the beginning and you can’t change them, unless you played many games to get the „change the goal color“-possibility. Why are they not standard red or at least in the team color? - team colors do not save sometimes, so they are all set back to standard - jersey colors switch uncontrollable after a few games to new colors (usually the away/alternate jersey); mixes with the number coloring switches (its very random) - showing different logos in the game loading page than the one you created - picking a jersey before an online game leads to mixing jerseys between teams or not showing the right jersey, so you don’t know if you picked a color that the other team is wearing - ingame you cant switch that easy between tactics cause it seems that buttons are not working regularly, so it needs a lot of clicks and time to set up correct improvements to tactics, for example powerplay tactics or faceoff strategies - we need a chance to copy colors to other color-boxes please: that would make creating a jersey very much easier I hope I don’t forget anything, I‘ll keep up posting if I found more! Please fix these :/ Its really annoying, even though the gameplay is fantastic and we love to play clubs, but not with these huge bugs… Yours, xX-Die-Ente-Xx
What I've learned about the major AT&T issue.
Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to unearth the truth about what the issue is with the ongoing EA - AT&T issue. After being re-routed several times to higher and higher representatives, it has become apparent to me that there is a serious disconnect. As far as AT&T is concerned, this is solely an EA issue, and their reasoning is pretty sound. The only game impacted by their supposed service is the EA NHL series. Furthermore, they do not have any notes regarding EA reaching out to them to let them know there is an issue. From EA's perspective, the inverse is true. The only ISP impacted is AT&T, therefore it must be an AT&T problem. According to the forum moderators, this is an issue that has been brought up to AT&T with no answer from AT&T. Clearly this is a massive issue as it impacts a very large chunk of the player base. LeagueGaming, the lifeblood of the community, has posted numerous forfeits and reschedules to try to work around this issue. So, assuming everyone is above board, the likely scenario is that the issue is both an AT&T and EA's end, and that EA got in contact with the wrong people at AT&T and it is not being looked at whatsoever on their end. This is the best case scenario. I'll reiterate, can EA's forum mod team communicate with EA's tech team to check on the issue and contact AT&T (the right people, likely not a low level service rep) to offer us an official update? The most confusing bit is that EA doesn't seem confident enough that it's an issue on AT&T's end to publicly/official state that this is NOT an EA issue. Be a pro player suddenly becomes 23 when u edit player
the players age goes from 18 to 23 automatically at random points either before or after the draft. Happened to me three differerent times in different Be a Pro careers. It starts out at 18 but either right before the draft or during preseason with the nhl team all of a sudden it says he is 23. I can also see everytime it switches to 23 years old the play by name is switched to A.J and doesnt change even though I go in and change it and save the changes. *Edit Tried a new BAP career with start in Europe and got drafted to another team. Just went from 18 to 23 years old when i played my first game in the NHL. Also changed date of birth, same thing.
Input Delay v.24
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Input-Lag-Unresponsiveness/td-p/11949320 In what is becoming an annual tradition since January '22, NHL24 plays with the same exact input delay, player freezing, etc. I don't need to repeat myself with the quality of my hardware, internet, and non-delay on every other game. During the pre-release period, I would say the connection was mediocre with regards to the delay/lag. But it has noticeably gotten worse since the full release last weekend. As it was last year, I played one night until 4am EST last weekend, and after an entire night of delay, it suddenly resolved to normalcy. If it ever resolved last year, barring the once in a blue moon day, it would occur around this same exact time. To date: still unexplainable. It's been varying degrees of atrocious since that night. This delay occurs in every mode, per usual. One resolves, they all resolve. The silver lining is I got this game for free. So, at least while I shout into the void this year, I do it with more money in my pocket and a clear conscience in not supporting this dreck.Slapshot not working
I am having a major problem with the skill stick specifically with slapshots (on PS5). Most notably if I’m at center ice between the two blue lines and I try to slap the puck into the zone, I pull down on the right stick and instead of winding up for a slapshot the player will just put the puck on his backhand. It happens every time. And then when I go into freeskate the problem doesn’t occur, but it is occurring in gameplay mode both online and against the computer. I tried a lot of different things to try and troubleshoot like redownloading the game , resetting my controller, and nothing worked. I went back to NHL 23 to see if the same problem was happening but it wasn’t. Slapshots were working just fine all over the ice. Please help.Headliner reward pack HUT rush

When i try to send him to my collection, i get a error code (F5553B653A9818F0-lots of zeros9999-69202F7888A39DF2). The strange thing is, that the pack or card is untradedeable, but i could sell the card via quicksell for 900 coins. Short Edit: Now i opened the pack again 11 hours later and i have kassel now. HUT rush does not register goals or accumulators with goals at all....dekes don't register on a goal scored to add points multiplier. Also, a lot of goals don't register a single point . This is every game played, making getting later rewards near impossible. What happens when the bug occurs? No points are registered for goals or multipliers for dekes/hits/passes etc. What do you expect to see? Multipliers for dekes/goals/hits/passes Was the issue in online or offline mode? Enter create team in creation zone 2. Edit jerseys 3. Select a font with more than eight color choice spaces 4. Note the amount of color spaces. Then select one, select a color, then go back. 5. There should be fewer spaces available when you get back to the font color editing menu What happens when the bug occurs? Sometimes there aren't enough font color spaces to edit all of the colors, and sometimes there are extra spaces. I've created a few teams that I cannot edit the sleeve number color, sleeve number outline, or helmet number color or outline What do you expect to see? I expect to see the correct amount of spaces according to the font I chose Was the issue in online or offline mode? Please insert your Club Region. N/A What is your game language? English One of the pictures is what I see as soon as I open Edit Jersey after selecting the jersey type. The one with fewer color selections is after I selected a color and went back to the menu. I should also note that at the beginning there are too many spaces for this font, and when I got back there weren't enough.

CHEL Cannot re-add alternate captain

This player is an Xbox player though. I am a PS4 player. If I remember correctly, I put him Captain, then we played a few games, then I remove his "C" and after that tried to give him an "A" and it gives me this error all the time. Edit : Our team only has 1 "C" and 1 "A". I tried giving the 2nd "A" to a different player and giving it back to the Xbox one and it still gives that error. Thanks!

What do you expect to see? Both teams wearing the correct jerseys that aren't full black Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online Insert Game Mode or Feature here EASHL 6 v 6 Clubs. English Semi-often, both teams are wearing black and impossible to distinguish between the two players.
Editing Defensemen Potential broken
When editing the potential of Defensemen, it shows the same values as it would for Forwards. It should show Top 6 Def, Top 4 Def, Elite..but it is showing Top 9, Top 6..etc. Oddly, if you set the equivalent value (Top 9 FOR = Top 6 DEF), it will show the potential as Top 6 Def. I've always used my last name on NHL games in Wolrd Of Chel. This year when going to create my player I received an error that my last name, "McCarthy" is deemed too offensive to use. Is there a way around this? It feels like a common last name to be able to use, I don't see how that is offensive? Thanks for any help in advance!
