I would like to propose a new expansion for The Sims 4 inspired by the beloved game, The Sims Castaway. This expansion offered a unique and immersive experience, combining survival elements with the classic gameplay we all love. Bringing back The Sims Castaway theme with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of The Sims 4 would be a dream come true for many fans. Thank you for considering this suggestion!5Views0likes0CommentsProject Renee/Future of Sims
It was very disappointing to hear that there won’t be a Sims 5. I just don’t understand where this is all heading. Project Renee just looks like another sims game but not an UPGRADED one. I believe we need another Sims game but this time it needs to be better than all the other games. It needs to have something from all the games otherwise what’s the point? In my opinion The Sims 4 is so incredibly boring. It’s a cash grab and if anything the game is actually just a building simulator. Also, not making a newer, better game because of this reasoning- “we would hate to make players start over” is just pathetic and lazy. We have said for so long that we need something like The Sims 3, the Sims 2 and most definitely not another boring cash grab Sims 4 but me and many others see that our pleads and our suggestions aren’t being heard. For me if the new Sims game isn’t better than all of the other ones then I’m done. Im going to just play and devote my time to InZoi and Paralives. Those developers seem to actually want to listen to the player base. I’ve been a Sims fan ever since Sims 2 came out. I’ve played all of the Nintendo games, the PlayStation games and after I got a PC I started playing Sims 3 then the Sims 2. I saw and experienced how much better the other games were despite them being older. Im sorry for this being a negative post but, if it’s not then are you guys ever going to listen?Tinyfishy2412 days agoSeasoned Newcomer98Views1like0CommentsWhere have the old (now Read Only) forums gone?
Have been trying to find a link to the old Sims forums site (to link an old story thread to a new one), but when I type in the address I had for it into my search, it now only brings up the new forums site. Have tried typing everything I can think of that used to bring up the link, but nothing is bringing up the old forums. Has the old forum site been deleted? I understood that it was going to remain online but just as 'read only.' It would have been nice to just be able to look back on it as an archive. Just wondered if anyone else is having the same trouble? (Also why have most of the avatars turned into silhouettes?)WhatCobblers15 days agoRising Vanguard80Views2likes5CommentsHow about redirecting dead 5 resources to 3 revival and fixing?
Just that. The Store is right there still operating like the economic, legal tender and royalbovine. Waiting to keep going and pick up where it left off. The next iteration doesn't have one of those does it eh? Eh? And, and and and and, we have the biggest demographic. The greys. We far outnumber the others. The thanks they (3 creators) and we ought to get with the run-on computer sales created when everyone was like "I need more RAM!" and others were like "graphics card! processor!"...just more more more ahhhh! My son, who does some kind of computer science says its not the graphics card, or the RAM, and didn't say what, but then my brother who doesn't do anything says its the RAM ... anyway, everyone got bigger and better computers because of it. And then it needed all o' those mods ... does it really need all of them? They did make too many babies and divorce, cheat and leave town and what not too much before nraas SP, and then there's the times they get stuck at the diner in Riverview and under the foundations at La Simla China. Things like that got sorted by patches in Sims 2 though. I wonder why not in 3. I will get back to my study ... But first. I'm serious! I don't know how this works online I've only done a paper one 20 years ago. Someone else is welcome to set it up :) Maybe they have a checklist that mobilises resources like that, similar to when surveying a disaster zone, but instead of directing them to that other one, if enough show interest with a petition, within the checklist time period, they might send it, the time, money, people and effort, our way, to 3. Revive and fix 3! New Expansion for 3 with an extra-attentive patch! And a BBS. IF The SIMS decides to do conjoined worlds, to allow SIMS2 Worlds to exist beside SIMS 4 Worlds, etc. I would like an option with our EA accounts to enter the CD KEYS from older versions and the CD Keys for all the DLCs so we do not have to re-purchase. We have an entire bookshelf here of SIMS titles and all the DLCs. I think we even have our four copies of SIMS ONLINE still.ttuthill16 days agoNew Traveler10Views1like0CommentsMy Ideas for The Sims 5/Project Rene
A letter for EA Games and their Chairman: I have made several petitions detailing how the company of EA Games is to be run. Most of the petitions of mine you have not followed, I shall give you one last chance. For The Sims 5 (or Project Rene), here's the demands: Don't make the game online only. It makes the game impossible to mod. Plus simmers want to mod the game like previous games. I will allow premade households, as long as they are playable. These premade households must (but not only) include: Goth family (with adults as Victor and Gretle Goth, with Frida and Gunther Goth as their children) Crumplebottom family (with adults as Simon and Prudence Crumplebottom and Cornelia and Agnes Crumplebottom as their children) Bachelor family (with adults as Milton and Enriqueta Bachelor and Simis Bachelor as their child) Williamson family (with adults as Henry and Gina Williamson and Jocasta Williamson as their child) Landgraab family (with adults as Kermit and Kitty Landgraab and Chester Landgraab as their child) Caliente family (with adults as Nestor and Dulcinea Caliente and Tango and Flamenco Caliente as their children) Mango family (with adults as Domingo and Georgia Mango and Katrina Mango as their child) Lothario family (with adults as Carmelo and Mama Lothario and Nicolo Lothario as their child) Fiorello family (with adults as Primo and Isabella Fiorello with Adriana Fiorello as their child) Burb family (with adults as Benjamin and Susan Burb and Brad Burb as their child) Marsh family (with adults as William and Anastasia Marsh and Tiffany Marsh as their child) Pleasant family (with adults as Les and Kynda Pleasant and Jeff Pleasant as their child) Danders family (with adults as Marshall and Melinda Danders and Diane Danders as their child) Oldie family (with adults as Myron and Irma Oldie and Herb Oldie as their child) Ruggbyrne family (with adults as Bruno and Mamie Ruggbyrne and Coral Ruggbyrne as their child) Broke family (with adults as James and Abigail Broke and Flat and Buck Broke as their children) Lincoln family (with adults as George and Elissa Lincoln and Flo Lincoln as their child) Rees family (with adults as Olivier and Jasmine Rees and Mary Lu Rees as their child) Newbie family (with adults as Bob I and Mags Newbie and Bob Newbie II as their child) Simovitch family (with adults as Vadim and Fatima Simovitch and Betty Simovitch as their child) Dreamer family (with adults as Dalmar and Dacia Dreamer and Davis Dreamer as their child) Darong family (with adults as Sef and Lina Darong and Delilah Darong as their child) Matlapin family (with adults as Amar and Isabelle Matlapin and Omar Matlapin as their child) King family (with adults as Henry and Olive King with Mariana King as their child) Those are all in my demands list. I will be watching what you will do with the new game. Should my demands be ignored, a disastrous boycott to the game will occur.corymach717 days agoSeasoned Newcomer23Views0likes1CommentWhat WAS possible can be again: Driving & Flying in your SIMSCities.
Unless you're old (over 50 ); like many of us now or rabidly interested in EVERY SIM titles MAXIS produced, you are likely unaware at one time you could create SIMCITY cities; then have high adventures and careers driving & flying inside them in 1st & 3d person views. And. That The SIMS was created with the intention of doing the same. Allowing you to live, drive and fly inside your SIMCITY creations. For whatever reasons this IMPLODED. But. IT DID WORK :) ! And. In 2025 and beyond there are fewer and fewer technological/computing problem that can impede returning to that. The competitors are already running with it. With no ill will to them, many wanted/want the MAXIS/EA combined SIMTITLES to be the KING. And. Still do! Decades have been lost but much has been learned and the POWER possible in THE SIMS makes one dream of how impactful and amazing they could be now in CITY, STREETS, COPTER, etc. gameplay. Building the perfect SIMS to deploy and building your best SIMS to take on the grand adventures. Whatever happens. At some point in the future. You WILL have the grandest SIM experiences ever! It's inevitable. Cheers & Best!ttuthill20 days agoNew Traveler18Views2likes1CommentNo Sims 5
I guess we know why the whole sims 5 ..Project Rene .. has been axed, im assuming its because The Sims is now gonna be an actual movie produced by Margot Robbie, no kidding.. just like the Barbie movie. This is why we are getting these updates and new packs im sure. Myself Im ok with that.. maybe will give EA more time to concentrate on what needs fixing before releasing a whole new game. I can say im looking forward to seeing this movie .. i think it will be funKenziy22 days agoRising Newcomer142Views1like4CommentsA Sims Movie? What Would Entice You to Watch?
A Sims Movie is in the works. With the Sims being as open ended as it is, it's hard to guess what the movie would be about. They've confirmed that it's going to be live action, not Sims 4 art style CG, but that still leaves a lot of room for conjecture. I've made a list of possible features. Which of these would spark your interest in the film? Which would turn you off? What features have I missed? A focus on Sims Lore (e.g. the central plot revolving around Bella's disappearance in Sims 2) Some references to Sims lore (e.g. including pre-mades as supporting characters).THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED: Freezer Bunny is coming to the big screen. The central character realizes that their world is an idealized simulation and must learn to navigate the real world (e.g. Barbie) The central character realizes that their world is a bad simulation and escapes to the real world (e.g. Truman Show) The central character realizes that their world is a simulation and uses this knowledge to achieve a goal of some sort (e.g. Free Guy) The central character is a human who is transported into the game (e.g. Tron) The central character goes on a Wizard of Oz style journey through the different worlds in the Sims 4 in search of . . . something. This could be combined with options 4, 5 or 6. Maybe the character is in search of a way out. Maybe the character is in search of a cheat code that will solve some problem that they have. The central character must save their world and their loved ones from imminent destruction by game-breaking bugs (e.g. the Langoliers). A focus on a particular play style (e.g. romance play, family play, level-up skills/career play) A focus on a particular pack. THIS HAS BEEN RULED OUTBissenNess23 days agoSeasoned Hotshot109Views1like13CommentsPLEASE RECONSIDER TS5 PART 2
i don't mean to complain, but I'm tired of buying game packs that are a little plain, i def think that collab with moders will be more effective, because these are real people that actually understand human experiences, not saying you all don't but it would make a difference. It's frustrating having to search for mods to fit gameplay, I think that sims 5 will give a fresh perspective. Tossing the sims 5 ideas too early and not considering how it will work would be a big mistake. Can we figure out how to include things that should be in base games, such as drivable cars many more things that i can't even list cause it's a lot. I heard a lot more people give sims 2 more credit than sims 4 and that's sad to me. So please reconsider the sims 5 for your franchise sake, because this will def get more people invested. Please go back to that drawing board and figure out ways on how the community can save more money in our pockets please please please!!!!!!lexigirl323 days agoNew Novice47Views3likes3CommentsPLEASE RECONSIDER TS5!!!
DEAR SIMS CREATORS OR EA I think it's silly to not consider sims 5, technology is advancing and we might not want to play the sims 4 graphics later in the future. I don't think it's a good idea to not look into sims 5 creation. we already have a lot more competition now with better graphics and they are slowly but surely adding way more features that the sims lack... I would petition to reconsider at least and take up ideas from moders to enhance gameplay, the amount of people that are complaining about what it lacks. I don't you should give up on sims 5, because a lot of people have been speaking about a fresh start. I hope you take mu suggestion into consideration. I believe if we did have a sims5 this would drive more people to want to become apart of the sims 5 community and bring more ideas to life. sincerely A sims lover!!lexigirl323 days agoNew Novice49Views0likes0CommentsThe Sims Creator Program

Hey. So, I was suddenly reminded that exists, so I'll share this. Back when I was a child, I played mostly casual games I found on the Internet and downloaded and played on the free trial. There were two games that I remember were The Sims themed. These were: The Sims Carnival: SnapCity The Sims Carnival: BumperBlast I also linked a video showing these games. So what were these games? SnapCity combined Tetris and SimCity, making you place falling blocks so that they build a city. BumperBlast was a shoot 'em up puzzle game where you had to bump into as many sims as you can. The videos do better explaining though. So then... I'll ask you. Have you played these games? What memories do you have with them? If you haven't, how do these games look?EgonVM2 months agoSeasoned Ace17Views0likes0CommentsMySims PC: I have a few questions
Its been a really long time since last time I've played MySims on the pc. I just have a few questions if anyone still plays it too. (Note: I'm talking for the PC not the switch) I have tried looking up these answers on my own, but I either gets answers to do with sims 4 or I get answers for other systems. Neither of which are helpful. x.x First question. I need to do a task for candy and I need clown fish essence. My dumb fingers pressed the button the mouse too early, so I didn't get a chance to read on how to fish. I tried winging it, but keep failing, so then I tried looking it up online. Luckily, I didn't find the answer, but it game me the answer for how to do it on the wii and I'm on the pc. Can only please explain to me how to fish? Second question. I noticed that some of the other sims will juggle, jump on the couch or even sit outside and read or as they call it, have a book party. I was wondering if there was a way my sim could also do those things without having to wait for other sims? Like, is there a way I can spread out a blanket and start a book party instead of waiting for another sim to start it?? Third question. I want to take some screenshots of some cute of silly moments my sim has, but whenever I press the prtsc button, it minimizes the game and tries taking a screenshot of my pc's background. As pretty as my background is, I don't think I'm obsessed with it enough to have multiple pictures of the same image. XD I tried looking this answer up online, but all it gives me are ways on how to take screenshots on the sims 4. So is there anyway to take screenshots on mysims for the pc or am I just going to have to just snap pictures of my screen with my phone like the good ol days? XD I understand that this game probably doesn't have a lot of players as far as pc goes to this day, so the answers to my questions may go left unanswered or that some people may not remember for they probably haven't played in such a long long time. But I would still be thankful people read my post and even if you only had the answer to just one of my questions. 😄39Views1like2Comments
