@TheTinyPshyco Hello! Perhaps double check your Game Options to ensure that the Online Social Features Access is enabled?
@JonaO703 Hello! I think you're right that it is disabled but then I'm facing another issue because I cannot enable it. The screen looks like this:
@TheTinyPshyco That looks very strange. Do you have any mods installed?
- @JonaO703 only MCCC, I'll try deleting in case it's outdated...
- Unfortunately that did not work. Neither did restarting my computer.
@TheTinyPshyco I would be surprised if MCCC is the issue. However, I suggest moving your Mods folder to the desktop and deleting the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder. That cache file can sometimes carry effects from mods even when you remove them. Then open your game to see if the options are available. If it works without any mods then you may want to double check you have the most recent version of MCCC. According to the Deaderpool Patreon page, the most recent public release was from April 30, 2023.2.0.
@TheTinyPshyco Were you able to get to the gallery? Do you mind sharing if you're on PC or Mac? A friend just reminded me that the Gallery was "temporarily disabled on Macs running El Capitan (10.11) and Sierra (10.12)". This was in the 30 May patch notes.
- @JonaO703 Hi there! I use a Mac so maybe that's the issue! I tried what you said with removing mods, but no luck. Hopefully once they re-enable the gallery the problem will be resolved! Thank you 🙂
- @TheTinyPshyco
If you're running El Capitan or Sierra you should be able to update to High Sierra and the Gallery will once again be available to you.
