Re: I got banned because my brother spoke hateful conduct with my account.

Hi @selendis24

Sorry to hear that. It's never a great feeling to discover your account has be used by someone else, in this case your brother, and that they broke the rules while on there, leaving you with the ban. That does suck.

There isn't a way for us to overturn this ban with Terms of Service for you (FAQ on EA bans & Suspensions here). If your brother broke the rules on your account, then the ban has been correctly applied to your account and Terms of Service won't overturn a ban correctly added. You see, you're responsible for the activity on your account:

We all have to do our part to protect the account, yours includes ensuring only you are accessing your account on your devices and limiting who can play as you on there (i.e. it really should only be you playing on your EA accounts/games as account/game sharing isn't allowed).

If your brother, or anyone else in your household, regularly uses the same device and you want to ensure that only you are playing the games on your account, consider password protecting your accounts and adding a Login verification codes so only you can get past the security measures. I'd also recommend removing your account from shared devices so that it's only accessible from your personal device. While doing this won't unban your EA account, it should help prevent others playing as you on your games from your devices for again. I'll share some help guides on how to set-up some of those security features below:

  • @EA_Lanna I admit that I have responsible for protecting my account. However, wht I'm trying to say is that the permanent ban affected the entire accounts linked with the PC account. I never let anyone touch my xbox and my brother got banned from typing hate words on Pc version. I want to get back my xbox account, the ban is unfair. IT should affect just the specific platform, not the entire thing
