Waiting on player means an advisor responded and is waiting for you to respond next.

  • How would I identify the advisor's email? All emails I have received seem to be automated, unless I skimmed over one by mistake.

    I've recently checked the case and it's now labeled as "In Progress". Thank you all in advance.

    I'm in the same position with my case where it says, "waiting on player".

    Waiting for what, though? I've had several emails from EA and none of them make sense.

    "Thank you for contacting EA, my name is Yashvi, and I hope you're doing well.

    I must apologize, normally this is an issue we could resolve for you very quickly however we're experiencing some technical issues that are preventing us from assisting you. Your best option would be to contact us (an hour from now/tomorrow) when we should have this issue fixed and can serve you properly.

    I look forward to your reply."

    I made a report using video evidence of racism. You're causing so much wasted time on top of a bad situation, where I've had to mess around making a video of these awful players, and unnecessary stress with not knowing what the status of my case is.

    Your communication is frankly awful.

    I want to know:

    1. Have you received and understood my report and have you been able to review the video?

    2. Have you banned the players and contacted your partners on other platforms to ban them there as well?

    No idea why you're linking that when it is obviously what I used to make this report.

    Report players for cheating, abuse, or harassment
    Other options
    EA Help
    Click Contact Us
    Select Game
    Etc.

    That's the only way to report with video evidence that I could find other than Hideouts on Twitter and I don't wish to register with Twitter.

    My issue now is with the status of my report.

    Why does it say, "Waiting on player"?

    @warslag Hey there! Not only does Hideouts accept those type of reports on twitter there is also a Discord specifically centered around cheating allowing video or screen shot uploads. Come on in and check it out!

    @warslag Yes, I had read the post which is why i added in the Discord where this can be seen much faster than twitter direct messages. Hideouts is sent 10's of thousands of screen shots or videos a day. So chances of him seeing those will be quite slim. The discord on the other hand handles things differently and it will add a report into the systems queue where it is seen directly in order the report was made. So the chances of those being seen is much greater and quicker.

    Waiting on player means the advisor responded and is waiting for a response from the player that submitted the case.

    I pasted the EA Help email in my comment above. Do you know what they are asking me? It seems to me that no reply is required. What am I supposed to do?

    It just sounds like they want you to contact them again after some time with the same information. It appears they were having a technical issue and couldn't help at the time.

  • How should players respond to customer service? I can’t find an option to reply to customer service at all, and I haven’t received any customer service messages.

  • hey @EA_Aljo I have the waiting on player thing too I have reopened my case but how long will it take for them to update me?

    If it says Waiting on Player, it means they are waiting for a response from you.

    Im having the same issue currently with seeing waiting for player however i've not received any emails neither in my spam nor inbox. I'm missing points and have been since the 10th of December. I've also submitted more than 1 case all of them with the same result of me not being able to advance the case.

    If you're not receiving emails, it's possible there's an issue with your account. Please open a case with an advisor to get this fixed. Then you should be able to receive emails from us. You also can mention the issue of missing points to them to get some help with that issue as well.

  • I open a case, i receive an automatic email saying "we created a case (1871110225). A game advisor will contact you soon." My case instantly goes in "waiting on player" and the resume case button doesn't work, it just sends me to this forum. It's the 3rd case i open in a week and i am not getting any help, it's frustrating. Any chance you could help me or give me an email adress i could contact in order to help me ? 

    Here is the content of my case : "Hello, I have lost all my progression on Apex legends. I had all legends unlocked (appart from Alter) and some skins and it's really annoying to start from 0 again. I linked my steam account to my EA account to play the game through steam and i was level 1. I saw online that the data would probably come back and it would take some time so i played some pubs hoping the problem would fix itself, it didnt. so i decided to go back to EA, and now i have the same crappy account that on my steam profile, i have more than 300 hours in game and i don't want all that progress to be lost. Anything you could do to help me ? Thank you, Henri (NANAVeked)" I already opened a ticket for this matter (Case #186600861) but it says waiting for player and when i click resume case it just sends me back to the EA help welcome page and i cannot do anything about my ticket. I started playing Apex on launch and i would REALLY enjoy being able to play with my progress instead of having to start over. Please help me. This is my 3rd ticket, i hope this one will not be abandonned without any help given."
