Re: Resized objects functional?
@Kitsoona This is very much a trial and error sort of thing. I would never change the size of any object that sims directly interact with via "touching" animation, for example a computer, punching bag or chess table. This is because of the clipping that will occur. It just looks weird. However, a radio should be fine as they never "touch" that object. Unless you've made it so big that the enlarged footprint of the object becomes bigger than the maximum interaction range of the sim's remote. There is an upper limit on how big an interactive object can be before it stops working. Personally, I make almost all my stereo systems in the game either smaller or bigger and have never had problems with them. Now, I am a bit surprised that you have trouble with the TV, because I have often changed their size as well. I do remember that some don't work as well as others (I think it was wall-mounted ones that gave me trouble after resizing), so try some of the others you have available. But like I said, don't expect things to work when making them unreasonably large. Make a change in build mode, switch to live-mode and see if it works. If it does, crank it up and see if it still works. That's how I do it. I also wouldn't worry about breaking your game as the worst that could happen is a last exception error in live-mode from a routing fail or a sim unable to perform a posture change. If that happens, move or resize the object and see what happens then. The game is remarkably flexible in that regard and the most important part is to have fun while trying all this crazy stuff.
Happy (Resized) Simming!
