Re: Record in Window mode or fullscreen with OBS for machinimas?

@lovelierclock02  You will need a few mods and programs to do what I think you are saying what you want to do.  To pose your sims, you need to get Andrew's Pose Player and the Temport any sim mod.  Both are found at the Sims 4 Studio site.  Then you will have to search the web looking for the poses you want to use.  There are literally thousands out there and are all over the place.  Blogs, WordPress, Tumblr, Simblr, various sims sites and so on.  And you will also have to find various cc objects that are used in some poses too .  Word of warning on those:  Some poses will have negative effects on your game since they are so old and the game has been updated many times since they were created.  Same goes for the cc objects that are used in them.  So you might want to consider sticking with the newer ones, at first at least.

The Sims 4 game also has built in features to take screenshots and make videos.  When you are in live mode, look up in the upper right corner and you'll see a camera icon.  Click that and go from there.  Screenshots are stored in a separate folder under the main Sims 4 folder.  Not sure where videos go since I've never used that feature.  There are also options to set them up to work under the gameplay options so you can tailor them to your needs.

There is really no reliable way to control NPCs either in game or by mods that I have found.  So you will probably have to make all the sims you are going to use in a pose or video playable in the same household which limits you to 8.

Finally, most poses are made in a program called Blender and then imported into and finished in Sims 4 Studio.  Studio is pretty easy to use.  Blender has a steep learning curve but you can really do a lot with it once you figure it out.  Both of these programs are free too.  Just do a search on the names and you should be able to find them.

Hope this helps.
