Re: Walls Cut-Away View Suggestion

@Liteblob  I usually make use of the middle option in the cutaway category, where the outer walls are up, and the wall where the camera is looking from is down The other alternatives are walls completely up and walls completely down. It looks a little odd in your picture, so I'm wondering if something is amiss in your game. Perhaps you could try to do a repair in Origin. If you are using mods please say so.

If sims are present outside the wall that should be up according to the choice, that sim is visible; but it doesn't look like that from your picture. Is it always like this in your game, or just on this lot?

@DonroaAkashu I think it only occurs when there's a garden attached. I noticed that it was actually "like i'm used to", when my sim was at her own house, but on the sides with the balcony (she lives in a penthouse) the walls were cut out again. Too bad, cuz I like the .. "serre" (i'm missing an English word here), the room with only windows. I can't see the windows now ... #SoSad.

I just posted it as a suggestion here. I wonder if more people think about this.

@Liteblob  Yes, and a good suggestion it is, I just thought it a little odd because I do see the outer walls when I have the middle choice applied. I went into game and looked at lot Planet Honey Pop! in San Myshuno, which I think is where your picture is taken, and get the same thing. When I remove the ground in-between the outer wall and the hedge I see the wall, so the 'issue' is because the game recognises the area up to the hedge as a room, and therefore the outer wall of the building itself is actually not the farthest away.

I guess I agree on your suggestion that enclosed gardens should not count as outer walls.
