Re: Sims 4 |Get Famous - Winning awards should have more chances please!

@Foul_Maiden Do you mean the Starlight Awards from Get Famous? If so I just turn up every Sunday at about 5pm to be there early and my Sim just waits, even if they haven't had a notification. Sometimes they win an award anyway. I often don't know they've been nominated in the first place. I haven't had a Sim receive any repercussions for not turning up when nominated. I often have Sims that avoid the Awards at first and then muster up the nerve to attend. Or some ignore them altogether.

They don't win a lot of awards, I think 5 is my maximum over the years of playing. Their first award on the shelf is usually the fan favourite one from holding a celebrity meet and greet.

My top tip to get that Starlight Award is to max their media production and post as many videos as possible. Use the editing to increase their quality with transitions and effects. Those get more nominations than the acting in my experience and you can get a lot of them done in one week, whereas acting is only a couple of gigs in a week. So I get them to make as many videos as they can on the More Views Video Station. Then they just keep turning up at the ceremony and very often that's what gets them an award.

To win the award for Acting I just max their mood, their interactions on set and if they have high skills I use the "risky" options available when they are acting. It doesn't work with lower skills, they make a fool of themselves usually! Also invite their director and co workers over for a party using the career panel to boost their chances. Set the mood at home with music, food and a bartender and the Friendly Introduction reward trait helps. I've never had a Sim miss out on awards because they missed a previous ceremony, although that could be a bug if that's happened. It may be missing in my game or a bug in your game. It's amazing how I find bugs this way!

I hope that helps but apologies if that's not what you meant!
