Glitches after using Werewolves and Vampires packs

My roommate and I decided to make teen roommate Sims, one being a vampire and the other being a werewolf. After we created the Sims and decorated the house they would be sharing, we realized the Sims hated each other. To fix this, we used the cheat code to boost their friendship. After doing so, however, gameplay stopped working. 

Further, in different game files, I'm having multiple issues. These include menus not opening properly and Sims' action logs overlapping. Pictures listed. In my household consisting of a vampire ghost Sim and a human Sim, their pictures do not come up in the bottom left. Picture not listed.

I deleted the original file with the werewolf and vampire roommates, but I am still having problems.

I also tried repairing the game and add-on files via the EA app, but nothing got fixed. Would love to know if anyone else has (had) this problem and how I might go about resolving these issues.
