Caustic Nerf is Trash, How bout you fix SBMM instead

Ok so I main Caustic and I'm not exactly the best of player. Far from it in my opinion. Probably the campiest apex player you'll ever see. This nerf to his gas is the most trash thing apex has done. Ppl complained pros and not about dying to caustic and his gas all the time. Half or more of the legends can push a caustic if you do it right, you can shut off traps or trigger them with grenades to not deal with them, you can also get out of his gas fairly quick heirloom speed buff or no. So why nerf the dmg of his ult and the cd of it? Bc the pros said you should and bc the statistics said caustic had the highest win rate of matches over 20mins long? There has to be more other wise you're the most stupid balancing and gaming staff in the world. We have kc and olympus right now. Caustic isn't viable on olympus, in 2 seasons of it I've won 1 time with caustic on the map and it wasn't even bc of me. Kc I racked up wins this season and haven't won in like 3 weeks now. Both of the maps have a problem called there is 5 or less teams left by the end of the 1st circle 9 matches out of 10. The one out of 10 that isn't that way there's 10 teams and there's a pro team smurfing and killing everyone while they all hide. Point is the last 20min match I had in apex was months ago. I even have the video to prove it on youtube. I feel I should bring up what no one is mentioning either; why does caustic have an ult at this point bc his ult does 5dmg/sec and his traps do 6. The damn traps do more dmg than his ult. I get the devs say the game is meant to be skill based and not abilities but, you literally handed us someone labeled toxic trapper. Whether you want to see it or not apex devs the game is at minimum a 50/50 on skill and ability based gameplay. You're so busy listening to pros who complain and I watched one of their videos. He complained about caustics gas and completely nullified his own point bc he just shot everyone and didn't use the damn gas he was complaining about. I've been on both ends of caustic bc even as a main there's only so much of the big boy I can play before I need a break. Only thing is I have a brain and don't push caustics without a plan unlike every person who complains about him. I have the perfect example. Me and my team had blue evos in top 3, we got pushed in a small building on kc by 3 red evos. They pushed me as a fully set up caustic and weren't even phased bc they were cocky and thought they'd win. Long story short we got 2nd place after I squad wiped them for being dumb but, they literally could've and should've beat us to a pulp with no issues at all. They pushed without a plan, failed and then probably raged and broke their controllers after. It's not bc caustic is broken, it's bc 99% of the ppl who push caustic don't think first. If you wanna address a real issue in apex I have 2 for you devs. 1 is the servers * out all the time for me and my friends on a constant. 1 of them can't even play more than one match bc the game is literally broken for them and they've tried reinstalling multiple times. The other issue you should address is the glaring skill based match making issue in your game. I'm an above avg player according to statistics and what everyone around me says. I say I'm trash but, can't argue with ppl. Point is I have 4k life time kills and 150 something lifetime wins. The other day for example I got paired with a champion wraith with 17k kills and over 540 wins on just wraith. Idk about anyone else but, I'd call that a major mistake. It's not just that match though, it's every match and every server I try to run away to. I'm an avg player and my lobbies are filled with aceu, lulu and zues. Not exaggerated, those are the only 3 pros I know for a fact have been in them but, the ppl who aren't known and in my lobvies are that skill lv. I haven't won in 2 or 3 weeks and have only gotten top 2 like maybe 5 times out of over 40hrs of gameplay. I've literally been avoiding playing this season bc of the sbmm issues bc a game is no fun if you never win and just get * on by pros every match every day. I will admit I did a lot with the Mozambique this season and out of like 40 wins this season I used the mozam for about 30 something but, if that alone gets you put in pro lobbies then no one will ever screw around in apex again bc that's literally all I was doing, screwing around. My friend's favorite quote from me this season is "I'm sry for * on ppl with a Mozambique apex, please take away the sweats". It's a joke but, I mean it seriously, fix the sbmm for the love of everything. Also find a middle ground for caustic bc you basically made hime unplayable by listening to the pros too much. I get 12-14dmg tick is too much for a cap but, how bout we settle on 10 cap and call it good. It's called an ult for a reason and it's not one anymore if the canisters out do it. That's just plain and simple facts.
