How is the Mozambique still in the game?

W/ guns like the PK, R-99, Devotion, and G7 in the game, how is the Mozambique still in the game? Does respawn have any idea how to balance their weapons? Seriously, Mozambique should be a supply drop weapon, b/c it is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too easy to find and does no DAMAGE! It just takes up space where other, actual guns could be!

BTW, I think the Dev. was pretty well nerfed!

If you mean do weapons cause less damage at distance, the answer is yes, but it has to be a long distance. I think they also changed the dispersal pattern or how tightly packed burst shots can be, so over distance they spread out = fewer hits = less damage.

Yeah I never meant to imply that they have damage fall off. What I am saying is they SHOULD have damage fall off. In my other thread, I mentioned this would put guns where they are intended - Pistols/Smgs/Shotguns are close combat weapons. Then it is okay for the Moz to have 60 dams up close and basically nothing at range.

I just don't understand why we can't have damage fall off on regular weapons just like hitscan weapons. Only guns that "shouldn't" would be like sniper rifles. I just feel like the map is way too big and there are too many distance points not to have damage fall off.

@SolitaryMassacre The game shouldve been like this day 1. Then people might actually start using the r301 more instead of the r99. At mid to long range the r99 still does the same amount of damage but the recoil is easier to control on a sub machine gun for some reason rather than an assault rifle. Completely backwards

Then you wouldn't get beamed by wingman from 200 meters away. Maybe instead of mid 40s damage, it would be in the mid 20s. Adding damage dropoff would help the game imo
