- @8bxfwgf093xe Yeah, this became a bug when they added quads.

It's been around a lot longer than that. I've been getting that since season 14.
It's a bad internet thing. - @Zulkiers Ah, I didn't start seeing it until they had added quads.

Hey folks,
Just as a heads up, this is something we're aware of and looking into!
There is a Trello page for this if you'd like to follow along here: Leaving matches can cause repetitive 'persistence transfer canceled' err on Apex Tracker | Trello

I get is almost every day because of Centurylink. 20+ year old lines that are not maintained. They refuse to examine or replace them. - @Zulkiers Ah, your first mistake was using CenturyLink. They tend to charge too much for very little while other providers charged less for more.
I would switch providers if you can. - Zulkiers12 months agoSeasoned Ace@Midnight9746
Dad refuses to get Satellite internet.
Wants to stick with line-based only.
Centurylink is literally the only one.
I wish I could get some backup satellite internet. Hughesnet is basically the only other thing we can get out here in the woods.
"It's too insecure." "Someone can put up a dish and steal all our information."
Yeah right.
Thinks he knows everything because he's been an IT administrator at a college.
I doubt he knows anything about Satellite.
Perhaps that's why he doesn't want it? Because he doesn't know how to control it? @Zulkiers Ah, that's unfortunate. Not much you can really do in that case.
As for the "satellite being too insecure", eh... I could say the same thing for any connection such as cable, broadband, cellular, and even fiber optics. When data is sent out as you use the Internet, anyone can intercept it, (which mainly would be those on the same Wi-Fi as you, which is why using public ones is risky).
He might not like satellite because of the fact that the data is sent out to space and back, which isn't all that different from other connections, (as in the data is still being sent out). Which it then comes down to the encryption of the data and how secure the connection is. Maybe he thinks its not as encrypted as other connections?
Where I live, we have CenturyLink, Verizon, T-Mobile, and a few other local state ones that I won't name. Verizon and T-Mobile isn't all that bad, but my family and friends had told me to avoid cellular. As for CenturyLink, I've had it before, I hated it. (It was basically a robbery as I got next to nothing for a higher price than other providers). So, I ended up going with one of the local ones with good reviews, and its been quite nice.- Zulkiers12 months agoSeasoned Ace@Midnight9746
Cox was supposed to be putting Fiber into our area, and we were looking forward to it, but one of our Neighbors lives in Hawaii and hasn't accepted the easement request yet. We live on the east coast.
I haven't heard anything else, so I guess they've given up.
We were looking forward to it. - @Zulkiers Yeah, and keep in mind that fiber optics is very costly to install. Its not something they can put in and move on with. So, even if they got everyone's permission to install it, there would still be a wait.
