Players are unable to learn how to play your game
This is how Apex is played: Drop, run away from team, gets downed, INSTA-QUIT.
Is that good game design?
How can I as a lifeline babysit players like that?
Are they ONLY supposed to be cannon-fodder for other players? From a game design standpoint, it seems like thats all these kind of players are supposed to be.
Is that good game design?
If you want to be a good game designer you have to take responsibility of how your players behave when they play your game.
Its like being a shepherd and having your sheep run off and around everywhere. They can ofcourse be free to run within the boundaries/fences, but having control of how they move around should be the shepherds responsibility, otherwise whats the point of having a shepherd?
I wouldnt call you a true game designer, if you cant put in action means to have your players behave and play a team based game as a team player.
Its like being a shepherd and just make the fence and grow the grass.
"Well we cant control peoples behavior" You ignorantly say.
Answer: Well you can put in action means to have players not INSTA-QUIT and actually play as a team and have incentive to do so. More XP/faster healing the closer you are?
Youre just putting up the fence and growing the grass Respawn, thats it.
