Muzzle flash in this game is absolutely BLINDING on some weapons to the point where you cannot track or even see your target. This is not a good or fun gameplay mechanic, rather its extremely annoying and frustrating.
I want to be able to see what im shooting at, PLEASE tone this down. As it stands many people including popular streamers are creating config files to remove muzzle flash because of how bad it is.

Im not saying the aim assist changes what you see. Im saying that because the aim assist tracks the target for you through the muzzle flash you wouldnt notice it as much because its not causing you to miss shots. Even if you cant see the target the aim assist will pull the reticle in the direction they are moving.
Its entirely possible they lowered it on consoles, I dont know. But like i said there are several clips on the Apex reddit like the one i posted where you cannot see the target at all because of muzzle flash. I think maybe?? they lowered the muzzle flash a little bit in season 2 not sure, but its still pretty bad particularly in dark areas and shadows. In dark areas sometimes even enemies muzzle flash completely obscures them to the point you cannot see them at all.

dark place(such as caves) The muzzle flash is too strong to see anything.
Make the flash come out of the muzzle because you don't need a custom flash hider.ｓ
One more for the road, spot the Wraith shooting the spitfire. How long before this * gets fixed, honestly? There have been complaints regarding this since the game launched, how much more player dissatisfaction do you need before taking action?
I agree that the muzzle flash is just to much in this game. I have changed my settings so that I don't see damage numbers when I hit my targets. The downside is that it makes it harder to lead targets when using the R-99 or Devotion for example. I have to add that I feel like Apex is the game where my shots are least concistent and I feel like turning down the muzzle flash a bit might have a positive outcome on my KD 🙂.
