- @Triumphkutter But the thing is, you most likely arent in close combat. I have been able to pretty much destroy people at ranges a normal shotgun just shouldn't reach.

The meta is wingman and a Mastiff for a reason, they are the cheapest guns in the game that require no skill to use, just luck, i watch people after i die and have no idea how they even hit the wall behind me let alone kill me.
- @Sir_Named It's a plug and play weapon, it was soley designed as a care package weapon like the kraber, it was never made as a floor weapon and as such should of never left the care package. And you don't need to aim persay you just need to flick aim and shoot, literally requires no skill to do that!. If you can strafe and shoot you win 90%of battles with that gun regardless of legend. If you play any FPS you naturally strafe. So it's a plug and play gun. Essentially if you haven't got a Mastiff you die to it, it's that simple. It's essentially an auto win I R WINNER (let's see who gets that reference). No gun outside of 5he care package should be as strong as the Mastiff, in comparison the Mastiff close range headshot can deal 110-161 damage, meanwhile the peacekeeper which is a care package weapon does roughly 100-115 and it needs be charged where the Mastiff doesn't. You see the issue?
Put it this way if I've got the Mastiff I'm not trading it for anything including the peacekeeper
Mastiff has been the most stupid gun to be brought out of care packages, it was OP from day 1 and the fact that is has been allowed to stick around for almost four (!!!) seasons now is unbelivable. Players at all levels screamed before season 8 to nerf it substantially or put it back in the care package yet it was allowed to stick around. Of course people will abuse it when it is a legedary gun off drop that can turn any fight. It is not even worth picking up a PK over it, Mastiff has bigger mag size, is easier to use and can kill someone in 2 shots just as PK. PK was good when it was ground loot but it was way harder to use, it actually took skill.
IMO they can put both mastiff and PK in care packages if they can't find a way to balance them.

@Burnie_00 I dunno. Players call for a nerf for anything pretty quickly. Even Rampart and her Ult were deemed OP early on. If not for the massive number of complaints I'd continue to view it as "players whining about something that beats them."
Maybe shotguns and snipers don't belong in the game since they're either too weak or too strong for the community to accept.
Still... What's this nonsense about a gun requiring ADS (Mastiff) being easier to use than the flexible PK? I'm mocking the idea slightly but I really just don't see how it's easier other than the faster rate of fire with a bolt.
