Stop with the stupid hidden MMR!!!!!!!!

Agree , before MMR it's was already hard to find teammates due to rank not being really accurate.
now that we have mmr in ranked the solo experience is worse than ever and it's impossible to find teammates since the mmr is hidden.
i can't imagine how bad they have to be at their job to come with such a terrible mmr system.

There are lots of ways to find good teammates. The MMR has nothing to do with that. Finding teammates is on you and you alone. 

Nope since rank doesn't mean anything anymore and the mmr is hidden it's harder than ever to find mates.
I can't even group with ppl i played previously since they are silver and i'm diamond.

@Dsamis1373The game is EOMM based as seen by how matchmaking behaves VS how Respawn said it should behave, (aka like SBMM), the hidden MMR only achieved one thing, and thats making it more heavily focused on being EOMM.

EOMM = Engagement Optimized Matchmaking

You win = You get bored
You lose = You wanna try better, so you keep playing
EOMM = Punishes you for doing good by purposely giving you weak teammates vs strong enemies, then when you feel like getting off, the game gets easier to keep you playing.

This is toxic for the game's health.

Theese systems abuse human feelings/nature /desires… i am just curious how many psychologists did take part in developing them… it’s obviously disgusting to abuse your playerbase like that. Most people just don’t know what they truely are about,  so they fall for the “fair matches“ nonsense… it’s about keeping you hooked and not having fair games. 

it's so trash, there is no progress, playing the same pred lobbies since silver? does respawn know how hard it was before to soloq into master?

so sad the game is only premade 3 stack based, no fun for us who play game just a bit and not 24/7

Do you have anything that is proving use of EOMM. I mean in the one article it talks about info from 2016 in a 2018 article about a patent pending. Was the patent approved? Is it even being used? 

The framework is a 2019 thing and is just a framework. 

In all actuality I could really care less what they are using SBMM, MMR, Hidden MMR or EOMM. I have a life outside of gaming, I easily monitor what I spend on Apex which is about what I would pay for a game a year that I spend there. 

Either way more up to date data and hard evidence as to what system is being used or not is better than frameworks and a patent pending article.

Their are a lot of patents on things out there that are never used/made.

Yes and if you read this and have half of a brain, you will also quickly understand that this theory is not applicable for Apex. EOMM is used for 1v1 games where every game have three possible absolute results, win, loss, draw. EA obviously developed this for games like FIFA and MADDEN. People should really stop mentioning EOMM game theories with Apex because that just puts a big clueless sign over your heads. TRUST ME. Its impossible to use the results of the EOMM study in a game of 60 players in 20 teams where you have one winner and 59 losers.  

Ofc, the devs implement ways to maximize player retention in various ways, thats just normal for any game, BUT ITS NOT BASED ON EOMM! The only reason why people to this day still blabber about EOMM is because ONE article on Dexerto where they noticed that EA just filed a patent for EOMM algoritms and asked the question "do Apex use this?"; a typical click bait article with no proof what so ever. So once again; please read the study and then explain to me how the EOMM matchmaking algorithms could be used in BR game with 60 players.
